You know what I'll say it. Dorian being shredded to me is STUPID. Sure maybe he's fit. We do a lot of hiking. But him being not only carved but HAIRLESS? stupid. That's a lie. These are lies to me. This guy does nothing but nerd shit his whole life. He's doesn't like. Have a job. He eats whatever he wants. He complains when it is cold and he complains when it is hot and he hates sand and the ocean and snow and rocks. I think this man has the constitution and stamina of a soggy bowl of cereal.

The funny thing about Solas is that I like him quite a bit, and I also want to kill him super fucking dead. Like, I want to crush his bald little skull with my bare hands. I want to see what the yoke that is his brain looks like and I want to make an omelet out of it.
There are two wolves in me: The wolf that is in fucking tears watching Solas walk through that mirror, and the wolf that sees the span of what he has done and what he plans to do, and wants to murder him for the gall of it all.
The wonderful thing about Dragon Age as a series, I think, is that I can have both. My Inquisitor can be the sobbing friend on the cliff without an arm swearing to redeem him, while my next character can swear to kill the man that they will witness do terrible things. Those two wolves can be separate entities in this world and that kind of rules. I can eat my omelete and cry over it too, and that doesn't contradict narratively even if it contradicts in my brain.

May I present, my attempt at illustrating the last four pages of Tevinter Nights. 😁 (Also, the first time I'm posting art on here!)

On a personal note though, I can't believe I actually finished it... As it had been a *very* long time since I drew (and finished) anything, let alone a 31 page comic and reading Tevinter Nights again finally sparked my motivation (and the courage to post it lol). So I want to thank Patrick Weekes for helping me overcome this massive art block and over two decades of Case Closed mangas for inspiring me how to draw an overly dramatic "exposing the imposter" moment. 😂 I tried my best to be as faithful to the book as possible and it took me forever, so... hope you like it! :D

“Remember, mages aren’t people like Cullen and Hawke,” Merrill will say pompously over wine, and then giggle. It’s still funny, six months later.
“Sadly I’m not a person like you or Cullen,” Anders will say deadpan, two years later, as he lights the bedroom fire with magic.
“You should all stop using magic, then you can be people like me or Cullen,” Hawke hollers over his shoulder at his friends, and throws a group of templars 100 ft in the air with force magic as he leads them through the Gallows.
