I can't tell if you mean 'why is it called that' or 'why do it' so I'll answer both.

Why is it called that: Sounds similar out loud

Why do it: It's a time honored tradition (four sessions) and it's fun to see how far you can survive (our record is 13 days)

Day 10

Sorry for missing the last couple days! I didn't have time to draw because of traveling -_-; But anywho, Wes! He's become a bit of a favorite! My friends and I started doing "Wes Fest" where we all play as Wes in a Survival World and see how long we last. It's great. Sometimes feels like the game knows we're Wes and gives us an absolute shit world to do Wes Fest in.

My friends and I have this running gag where whenever we find a Gardeneer Hat, we put it on and everyone else starts commenting on their "stupid hat". Also the changing between he/she/they pronouns in the image description in reference to Wilson is because I headcanon her as genderfluid and using those pronouns, peace and love

The first time I played as Wendy I almost immediately found a Dark Sword with 19% left. At the time I knew nothing about it except I figured it had some connection to Maxwell so I thought it'd be funny if he just. Left it for her. Like subconsciously he felt bad for dragging a child into the Constant and wanted to give her a slight buff except then he debuffed it so it didn't seem like favoritism.

I have this headcanon about Wanda creating a timeloop in the Constant in hopes of trying to save everyone from something that happens in the future, so I wanted to draw her dressing up as Siffrin from In Stars and Time since that's my favorite timeloop media right now. I'm just gonna limit myself to one Wanda every two weeks so it's not just her over and over because believe me, if left unrestrained I would draw only her, but I also wanna draw other characters

My sister and I have been rewatching Breaking Bad so we're starting off with a Breaking Bad reference. I was gonna be like "Oh I'll draw each character once before the silly stuff!" but I'm abandoning that plan

I have access to an alternate version of Don't Starve where the characters all hang out and dress in minxy little outfits, follow to see them

Okay serious intro. Hi I'm Mica/Micah/Sky, they/it, I recently got hyperfixated on Don't Starve (like beginning of this year is the first time I watched my friend play it? But first time I played was a few days ago) and it hit so strong that I drew four phone screens worth of doodles in less than 24 hours and because of how much I doodled and had fun I decided I wanted to do a daily doodle blog centered on the game. I don't normally keep up with these things BUT I'm hoping I will for at least a week. Start small you know?

I try to post around 9-10 AM PST every day since that's well before I hit the post limit (something I frequently do). A lot of these are rough uncolored digital doodles, like if you look at my profile pic, that's basically what to expect. Sometimes I do multiple doodles as a bonus. Lots of stuff incorporating my headcanons here. Requests are closed for now, I may open them in the future when I run out of ideas.

Also for fun fact reasons, my fave characters (both to draw and in general) are Wilson, Willow, Wendy, and Wanda :3
