HAPPINESS headcanon
Aoi is generally pretty happy! It doesn't take much to perk her up in a normal situation and her natural optimism can potentially be contagious if in the right circumstances. As one of the more normal DR kids Aoi's stance of happiness is pretty much the norm as well: if she's happy, her friends should be happy too, and she has more than enough of it to spare.
BODY headcanon
Aoi is hot stuff and she knows it, but an interesting thing about her is that she doesn't look as fit as she actually is. Not to say she doesn't look healthy, but she doesn't give off the appearance of an Olympic athlete: she's a small girl (5'3" if I remember right), and is very soft and curvy without any obvious muscle. Without her jacket on or with her stomach exposed it's a lot easier to see how much muscle she really has, but with the full ensemble the only place you can really see it on her is her legs.

FOOD headcanon.
DONUTS NOTWITHSTANDING Aoi loves her food. It's canon that she isn't someone to really care if food is fatty or has a lot of calories, which makes sense since she's an athlete, as she has to eat a lot more than the average girl her size and age in order to both store up energy and restore any energy lost. She'll try anything at least twice, and more or less has a cast iron stomach because of it.
To that end, if she sees someone with bad food (like a spoiled lunch or something) she'll insist on swapping her good food for the bad and eating the bad herself. It rarely ends well, but Aoi can hit the rebound pretty fast. And everybody deserves to have a good meal if she can help it!

sakura oogami died for your sins
She opens her mouth to respond, but words fall short as Aoi fully registers what has been said to her. She... hasn't heard that name before. She has never been good with names, admittedly, but she knows at the least what is and is not familiar to her. There is no one on this island named Sakura Oogami, and there is no one by that name she knows who is dead.
But the sinking feeling in her stomach does not leave and her head begins to pound dully, as though she has been crying for a long, long while. Tears do come, and prick at her eyes, and Aoi knows it is only her confusion that keeps them from spilling over the brink.

When swimming doesn't cut it--which is rare, in and of itself--there's only one thing Aoi can think to do to lift her spirits, and that one thing is to eat. Even without the dire circumstances, the swimmer's philosphy was that to be hungry was to be sad, and a good meal could and would lead to better times.
She still believed that, even now, but even rarer than for her to a lack a desire to swim was to lack an appetite. As an athlete, Aoi could allow herself at least a day off to conserve her energy, but if she didn't eat something, then what energy would there be to conserve? It was a fickle thing, the time management of a sportswoman. Especially on Murder Island, and all that. But she'd make do, for now, at the very least. She had her secret good luck snack, if nothing else.
It wasn't too much of a secret, really, she supposed, but surprisingly enough no one had really touched the stock of donuts they had on hand at the market, so for now, Aoi helped herself to the sugary goods. Donuts were something she knew she could eat, appetite be damned, and she was near devouring the one box she had taken, having already gone through half of the dozen on her own. No one would get between an Asahina and her pastry gift from heaven, not even guys in trench coats giving her funny looks.
Ah.
Well he looks at her, and she looks at him, and he looks at her some more, and finally Aoi decides to swallow whatever food she had stuffed into her mouth and address the trench-coated elephant in the room. While her mind draws a blank, her hand draws to her donut box, and she holds it out before her mystery guest. "...Want one?"
Oh yeah. Smooth as soap.
