Yes, I suppose it would. Ah, but look at the time, I must be getting back to work. Busy days ahead of me. /He leaned down, kissing both his cheeks/
/He smirks/ Oh? How was hell?

/He bent low, kissing the top of her head/ I'll try. But for now, I must go. Work and such.
*She smiles and hugs him, wrapping her arms around his middle.* By the way,  my name is Belle.

His last breath.
The strain was too much, he couldn't handle it anymore. He sat behind his desk, head held in his hands. His scalp hurt from pulling at his hair, his glasses had fallen off the bridge of his nose and lay on the hard wood. The words were laying there on the paper, written over and over again like a mantra. He took in a shakey breath, closing his eyes shut tightly. 30 years, he'd dealt with all of this. 30 years of pain and misery. 30 years of lying to himself and others that what he was doing was right, that what he was doing was needed to keep the world in balance. They didn't need him, no. No, that was a lie the Overseer's kept telling him. He was just another unwanted piece on the great and horrible machine of the Bureau. His hand dropped down and pulled open the drawer, pawing around inside, searching for it as the faces passed by him. It was so easy to end, he never thought of why he didn't do it before. The metal was cool against his temple and, with his last words of "I'm sorry" hanging onto his lips, pulled the trigger.

I've moved into the Bureau's housing units and I've been promoted. That's about the gist of what I've done in my absence. Seems like you've had a lot of fun, though.

Interesting, really. I really would love to delve into it and ask you more, but I'm on a tight schedule. I don't live in my clinic anymore, you see, I've..moved. Well, they asked me to and so I agreed to live in the Bureau, finally. Outside time is hard to get.
*She narrows her eyes, grinning.* Well, for the most part, it is a good thing.

Belle like "Beauty and the Beast" Belle?
*She smirks.* Monty, dear, if I didn’t know any better then I would think you were calling me fat.  *She laughs.* Well… I am…not exactly who I was before.  My memories…they have come back to me.

It is nice to see you as well, Illis. I do apologize, though. Work has me living inside the housing they provide. /He smiles/ How are you?

I thought I didn't either, but now I'm...not so sure if I do or not.
Oh, work, you know. /He smiles, stroking at the slowly growing beard/ Always working. I took up their offer, finally. T-the living arrangements, that is. I live in the Bureau now.

Not really, no. It gets everywhere and tracks all over the carpet and ruins things in general.
Plus I enjoy the snow more than slush.

Well, not dead, for one. Your face seems fuller, for two. And you're holding yourself a bit differently then when I last saw you.
Such a pity to see everything turn to slush when it rains.
