Oooh I hadn't considered her plan possibly including Showing Buddy how useless Helio is, and using his sudden doubt as a catalyst to make him convert to their Conquest God.
And, pairing that with the fact that we know devil's honey can let you lie even in prayer? Has got me wondering again if Bobby Dawn is not truly a pastor of Sol but is only biding his time that way, waiting to shift to the conquest God of dawn/sun. And was in on getting Buddy killed to help facilitate building an immediate out-the-gate church of the conquest God, ready to go with multiple clerics, ready to spread the word.
As excited I am to think of Buddy meeting Helio and him doing a 180 religiously, Kristen was able to heal and question her religion safely because of the environment she's in and the people that surround her. I feel like Buddy might question his devotion but might be steered in a different direction via the Rat Grinders, the teachers guiding them, or maybe Helio himself.

I want owned physical media back, but I'm not sad to see DVDs go – optical media was always a transitional technology, and suffers from a number of intractable drawbacks. I want them to start selling movies on indestructible solid-state cartridges the size of a quarter, so I can keep my entire media collection in an unsorted pile in a random cabinet drawer and have to go rummaging through it like an amateur chef trying to find the lemon zester every single time I want to watch something. Do you understand? I want to lose the entire Star Wars trilogy between my couch cushions.

Starting to think a cooler headcanon for Clark’s upbringing might just be that the entire town of Smallville collectively decided to just go with it and accept that Martha and John's kid has superpowers, but we don't talk about it.
Someone's tractor gets stuck and nothing can get it out? "Be a dear and run down to the Kents, would you? Ask for Clark?"

Wonder if Comfiest Blanket Ever could be focus hack??
Like often when I am bored or procrastinating I get sleepy, and also when I Don't Wanna Do The Thing, and even often when I do, I can spend foreeeevwr trying to get comfy enough to work (bit again not so comfy I nap).
So if Comfiest Blanket Ever is enough to actually get comfortable But Crucially also prevent the Bordem Drowsies... Perhaps magic hack to actually getting shit done???? Both have-to things, but also, like, If you're the kind of person who likes to read but always falls asleep when you read, or wants to like to watch a show or a movie In the evening but you always drop off partway through etc...
Then here you go. Snuggle up, be comfy, and then actually do or enjoy the thing that you need or want to do or enjoy until you are ready to be done and or go to bed and then you put down comfiest blanket ever and settle for your Hopefully Still Pretty Comfy bed etc and actually sleep when you want to. 👌
