So, there's a lot of USians around who are very clearly fucking fed up with their political choices this election cycle, and planning to sit it out.
And I get it! What's the point of voting if there's no one to vote for?
The thing is, I'm Australian. In Australia, voting is compulsory. We don't get to sit out our elections, and I'll be real honest with you - we don't exactly get better choices than you lot. So how do you vote if there's no one to vote for? You find someone to vote against. And there's always someone to vote against.
Now, we have the pleasure of preferential voting in Australia - We get to rank every candidate from 1 to X, and I'll tell you, there's something so cathartic about putting the biggest bastard of the lot at the very bottom of your preferences. I understand that USians don't get that option - you get to mark one person, and that's it.
That means that you get one shot, so aim it at the biggest bastard of the lot. The candidate you most utterly detest. Put your vote in the worst possible place for them. Don't even think about who that vote's going towards, that's not the point. Remember, every vote is a vote against someone. Make sure you fuck up that someone's election day!

Hey this is a bit of an odd question but do you have any recommendations for candles that smell similar to yours? You’re the only place I’ve ever found with candles I enjoy that aren’t overpoweringly strong because I have some pretty strong sensory issues around scents, and I’ve almost burned through the last of my candles from you. I particularly liked the Woodland Ranger, Firbolg Bakery, Halfling Tavern, and Golden Tree scents if that helps.
I don’t, I’m so sorry. BUT I’ve been thinking of offering candles again bc I think I’m at the point where I can make them again. I will probably do limited numbers of each fragrance per batch but I think I can mentally make them again!
You know what, I’ll reactivate those listings for candles but it won’t be more than 3-6 per fragrance (with the more popular fragrances getting 6 and the others getting 3).
I’ve had a few people ask about candles and I think I just needed a break from them. :) break over!

I often wonder how many of my sales come from tumblr and I think I have the answer.
All of them.
Literally all of them.
I didn't reblog my advertisement post for 5 days and didn't get a single order, even though I pay for Etsy ads.
I reblogged my advertisement post, and got FIVE orders.
now I realize it isn't always going to be like that, but it sure makes me wonder if paying for Etsy ads literally does anything or if I am just better at marketing my stuff because I know my audience, or a little of column a and a little of column b.
It is an interesting place to be in for sure. Anyway, thank you tumblr for making my business possible i love you bye
