Hey, it's okay if your self-insert doesn't embody the typical 'main character' traits. They don't need to be extraordinarily powerful, pivotal to the plot, or exceptionally skilled. Of course, if you wish, you're free to create a larger-than-life Mary Sue or Gary Stu — follow your dreams! However, it's perfectly fine to have a self-insert who's more like an NPC. They might not be deeply involved in the central story, but they're there, loving your F/O from the sidelines. It's okay if your role is more about a minor side story with little to no big, crazy moments. Regardless of whether your S/I is a central figure or an NPC, your existence is valid and your F/O's love is just as meaningful ♡
