Your not the only PLD/tank that waits for those buffs Kazo, i could just wait for them since i used to main heal WHM and know to wait but it should be common scene... though saying that i usually forget that SCHs can share shields/eye for an eye :S.

One of my co-healers in a Midas run had this macro and when I saw it all I could think was “They’ve been through some shit. They’ve SEEN stuff”.

In all honesty I kinda want a Stoneskin + protect macro too, but I’m not jaded enough yet to make one, plus it would probably just annoy people anyway.

I dont see any issue with a stoneskin/protect macro if you wanna make one. It was an extremely common thing in FF11 and people got creative with it. I’m actually considering making one once again myself, though silently casting stoneskin first on myself+the DPS THEN the tank then casting protect last usually keeps the tank in place. Unless they’re a fucking PLD of course.

I had two things in mind i wanted to do today, make more progress on my Paladjin relic weapon (as in actually start it ^^) and work on getting more runs towards my Warriors bear mount, i would like to unlock both the PLD and WAR mounts on my birthday which is next saturday ^___^ and i was only about 60ish runs in out of 200.

I started with the relic so i went FATE farming in the sea of clouds since i already had 1 from there. After soloing them for a while i got all 3 but was asked shortly afterwards if i wanted to join someone else to farm, i joined regardless and not long after we got another member. This guys were really fun to run with and evern though one of them was really unlucky getting his 3rd crystal (evern to the point where me and the other had 8 each :S) it was still really nice and fun to stick around untill he got it.

After that i started on the WAR runs, first i got into a Bismarck ex run which fell apart instantly :S followed by a Garuda farm with some cool people ^__^ really helped towarrds my runs and everyone who needed it got the pony from there before finishing.

After the Garuda farm i saw that there was a Ravana EX farm in the PF. I’ll amit i was a bit worried about this one, i had never tanked Rav before and only ran it 3 times ages ago but i decided to go for it and joined them... the first try was a nightmare ^____^ i messed up quite badly :S but the group was cool about it and we tried again, this time i got it no problem. The mounts here were dropping really well to and 6 people had got there mount before 4 people had to leave (i was one of the 2 without) but there rest were sooo focused on getting everyone that mount, we set the PF back up, got 4 more and stayed untill everyone got there mount ^___^. They did not want to just leave people without it, i can’t think of how to write it in a was that really shows it :S. I evern got Ravs triple triad card (my in game wife is going to be soooooo pissed at me for that ^_^)

I’m just im such a good mood right now because of all of this. I had been doing runs with people who bitch about things not being 150% perfect evern though the runs are working or needing to complain about something really tiny. Im really happy i spent all day with people who didn’t care about a single mistake and really wanted to help out every involved, evern made about 6 new friends today ^__^

I headed into Gridania to visit the market for some of the local grown fruits when i over heard talk of a new discovery within the south shroud, a mysterious and dark dungeon of ever changing rooms, named the Palace of the Dead.

Those i spoke to about it had no interest of entering, some scared evern but the paladjin in me could not ingore this potential threat to the realm while the adventurer in me was intrigued to explore this new and interesting arcane ruins, a win-win.

Finding 3 other like-minded adventures we traveled into the palace. As soon as i entered i felt a strange feeling in the air down there as my sword and shield took on a new and glowing form. I then felt a feeling of weakness within myself, as if the memory of when i first picked up a sword and shield took physical hold on me. It seemed my companions had been affected in the same manner.

Evern in our weakened state we’re still seasoned warriors, this would indeed be a dangerous place for many others, evern we got caught by surprise as a trap triggered and exploded on us.

As we ventured further into the Palace i felt my strenght return to me, slowly but surely. When we came to to the 10th floor we came across a very different layout to the other floors, a large squared room with the largest monster we found within the palace so far, it took awhile to bring it down but it didn’t provide any difficulty. This 10th floor looked to be a safer floor than the others after killing this guardian, whether this was another trap of the palace or not is unknown to me. None the less i felt i had made enough of an impact to take a break for the moment, evern if for just a short time...

Time for Warrior to shine

July is always a welcomed month for me. The weather outside is usually great for walks, warmth is always better than cold and most welcomed of all is on the 30th day. This ones birthday ^___^

A usually event for me on this day is to achieve something to make the day a bit more special, making that thing more special to me in turn. This year i’ve got my eyes set on the tank mounts.

While its very unlikely i’ll get all 3 of them (unless i give in and let a large amount of madness set in), I’m very close to the paladjins lion according to my notes i’ve been keeping. Getting the bear would be lovely aswell but i’ll have to see what happens there.
