She started to back away from him as he stepped forward towards her. But she would be unable to move since he was holding her close towards him. "There's nothing wrong with being sorry! But there's something wrong with letting it take control over you. It allow it to control every part of your relationships with everyone, Gray!" she sighed softly as she looked down to the ground.

As she was pulled closer, her face heated more. What was he doing to her? Making things worse for her. The young woman would struggle against his grasp before he would lean down and kiss her. His lips were softer than she thought they would be. Though, she had though about them a lot. Mirajane would often find her staring at them when he was talking.

She would hope this was more than just to shut her up from talkin but because HE WANTED too. Something told her that he was doing it to shut her up.

After returning the kiss for a moment, she would pull away from him. Her eyes staying away from his direct sight. "That wasn't nice." a simple whisper of defeat. Of course, she would stop being so negative about what was going on. Lucy would find herself slowly resting her head on his chest silently.

"What if I want you, Lucy? What then? Huh?"

Gray wasn't annoyed with her, but he was annoyed with himself and the 'curse' he believed he had. He loved his friends, he loved the guild, and nothing had happened to any of them aside from all the chaos. None of that was his fault though. He'd look at Lucy and frown.

"No, I don't want you to 'move on' from me, Lucy. I want to prove myself wrong, but is it so wrong to be afraid?"

He'd sigh, his breath coming out in puffs due to the chill in the air. Th two of them were still alone in the guild garden, and he was fighting the urge to get her to stop talking by KISSING her. Eventually, he'd just shake his head before stepping closer to her, reaching an arm out and grabbing her shoulder with his hand.

He'd pull her a bit closer to himself after taking a deep breath of his own, he knew he shouldn't be afraid anymore. Not after everything they'd been through together. He was jealous seeing her go on dates with other men, men that weren't him, but he'd felt it was better that way. Now though? He regretted that.

"Lucy, listen to me. I don't hate you, I could never hate you. I don't want you to 'sit on the sidelines' or the backburner. Nothing like that. Okay?"

Should she hit him some more he'd just let her. He knew he frustrated her immensely. As she mentioned that she was in front of him but felt like he was looking through her, he had enough. The Ice Wizard would lean down and kiss her, if, for no other reason than to silence her negative words. He didn't hate her, he didn't want to push her away, but he was a MESS when it came to this kind of thing.

If she slapped him, he was fine with it.

Lucy was just walking out of her home, locking the door behind her as she went to meet Lisanna at the station. She had no idea what was going on with Gray. But she hoped that he would at least try and message her back before she got back from this job with Lisanna.

It wouldn't be a surprise she was a little upset that her one year anniversary was coming up after joining fairy tail. And none of her team seemed to be available. It was strange enough that Natsu was no where to be seen as well.

IT WAS A HALF TRUTH. of course his intentions weren't any way malicious, but it's also hard to keep in contact with someone while also trying to plan a surprise for them. lucy's one year anniversary of joining the guild was approaching and the rest of the fire fairies had decided it was only appropriate to celebrate the occasion. this did of course lead to the awkward situation of gray not being the most responsive person whenever lucy was asking where he was, but it was all going to work out in the end.

One of the main things to know is I am mutual only interaction. I do not answer asks, do starters or anything plot wise with people I don't follow back out of my own comfort. So I do apologize.

A long , drawn out sigh as she watched two guild mates clearly enjoying each others company. It had been too long since she had physical contact other than a few hugs here and there from close friends.

" I guess.. things are just lonely for me right now. What am I talking about? Sorry, Itto. I don't think this is something that you want to hear about. How was your job. I didn't know you were back already?"

"Ya sound almost jealous, princess."

The Oni would cross his ankles and lift them onto the seat nearest him, his hands would get tucked behind his head as he looked at Lucy. He wasn't sure who she was talking about in all truth, but he was pretty curious. She was a hopeless romantic and the reason he'd not completely given up on trying to find someone to seriously date. not that it'd worked out yet.

Lucy's features were exhausted. Tried after fighting with these feelings for so long. So she would put it as plan and simple.

" What is it that you want from me? Or from us.. Is there something YOU want? Because we are just running in circles with these questions.. So I need to know. What do you want from me? Do you want me to move on from you? Take some time off so I can do that because let's be honest. I have been crying for months now over this conversation. One that had not happen before because.."

She took in a long breathe.

"Gray, I'm afraid you will choose your fear over me. And I will not sit on the back burner for you to decide you are no longer afraid to lose someone. I have lost a lot of people over the years.. maybe not in the way you have. " Lucy kept her distance from him. Afraid he was going to let fear to continue to put itself between them.

" But I'm here. I'm right here in front of you. And sometimes it feels like you are looking right through me."
