I will forever mourn the person I could have become had they not put their filth stained hands on my young and impressionable body. House of the Dragon Hot Take except I don't care what number I'm on because this is a more important post than usual.

I feel like the majority of GOT/HOTD/ASOIAF fans see this post as "common sense" but a lot of you don't act on it so I'm just going to say it anyway. Stop threatening the actors. Stop bullying the actors. Stop threatening people that have different opinions then you (i'm SPECIFICALLY looking at toxic team green and team black stans right now.) I have seen people like Iwan Rheon, Carice van Houten, Jack Gleason, Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Tom Glynn-Carney, and Matt Smith get treated like absolute SHIT because of their characters, their appearance, their gender, and their acting. It is truly disgusting and dehumanizing to go on social media and see people sending death threats to actors and actresses because people don't like their character. I'll give examples on what I mean:

Iwan Rheon - Has been harassed for playing Ramsay.

Jack Gleason - Got sent death threats for playing Joffrey.

Kit Harington - Got sexually harassed in public numerous times and I believe threatened at least once for playing Jon. He also gets made fun of for wanting to be seen as more than a pretty face and body. He also got ridiculed for saying being randomly touched in public and having people practically harassing him about his appearance makes him reasonably upset.

Matt Smith - People bully him for his appearance, harassed him AND his MOTHER on twitter, and people accuse him of supporting abuse towards women because he plays Daemon.

Carice van Houten - Got sent death threats for playing Melisandre.

Sophie Turner - Got bullied off of almost every social media at some point for playing Sansa. She's also the victim of almost every misogynist GOT fan on the internet all for playing Sansa.

Emilia Clarke - Has been sexually harassed in public and gets bullied online for being a "terrible actress" for doing what the script and director tells her because she played Daenerys.

Tom Glynn-Carney - Got rape allegations put against him on twitter because of the episode where Aegon rapes Dyana. They said that because Aegon is a rapist Tom is too.

I have said this time and time again, you guys are fucking EMBARRASSING!! Get a god damn grip on yourselves and instead of acting like morons who can't separate character from actor/actress go outside and breathe in some fresh fucking air.

As seen in the title this post will contain triggering topics about SA in its many forms, so proceed with caution and read safely friends.

Okay one thing I do NOT fuck with in this fandom as a victim of COCSA and SA is the fact that Alicent (A victim of Rape herself) gets fucking BULLIED for the action she took with Dyana. Dyana, a girl probably no older than 12-13, was raped by Alicent's oldest son and was brave enough to tell his mother about it despite knowing it could potentially mean her losing her head or getting hanged. Alicent comforted her, made sure she knew it wasn't her fault, made sure Dyana knew Alicent believed her, gave her moon tea so she wouldn't get pregnant with her rapists child, gave her money so she could leave her perpetrators living space and go off to find her own living space and actively survive in it, confronted her fucking weirdo son about it, slapped the fuck out of him (AS SHE SHOULD), and told him what he did was disgusting and wrong. In actuality, that is ALL she could have done in that situation. Alicent may be the Queen but she is still a woman and in that universe it doesn't matter your standing, if you're a woman your power is merely a facade. Also its VERY important to note that a lot of your guys' faves would have done MUCH less than Alicent in that scenario. Alicent is a victim of marital rape, she of ALL people in that show knows how it feels to be that scared. Alicent knows how lonely it feels. Alicent knows how terrifying it is. Alicent knows the potential consequences of speaking up and she actively protects Dyana from them. Some of you stans are so fucking delusional that you SCROUNGE for ANYTHING to use against the women of this show to make them look bad and it's fucking pathetic. Alicent Hightower isn't an evil cunt because she didn't snap her sons neck, she did the best she could with the resources she was given. Also stop with the "abused becomes the abuser" shit when talking about Alicent and Dyana, it's fucking gross. Alicent didn't abuse Dyana.

I think it is SO important to talk about the fact that it is HEAVILY shown that Aemond Targaryen is an SA victim because of his older brother. We see Aemond's discomfort when the Madame tells him he's grown, we see the way he shifts and tries to hide himself, and we see the way he sort of gives a gentle twitch. Aemond was a 13 year old boy.
