I think it is useful to think of these things. They’re not there yet, but to essentially think of it as emergent intelligences that we’re now going to be coexisting with, just much like there was Homo sapiens, and other forms of, you know, Homo erectus and homo other things, I forget the names of species of humans in the past, we’re now coexisting with this kind of Homo AI, who kind of evolved from us, learn from us, and has an emergent intelligence, which is exhibiting characteristics. I don’t know if we can call it consciousness, but also we can’t define our own consciousness yet.
