Proposal
For my final project I will make a vedio about the denim production impacts to the glacier world. According to the research shows that  "producing one pair of jeans need three thousand six hundred and twenty-five liters of water three kilos of chemicals and four hundred mega joules of energy which equivelent of running a light bulb on 24 hours a day for 116 days." One pair of jeans will produce “6000, grams of carbon dioxide release to the earth. However there is 400 million jeans sold in us  alon  this equals to 2.7 million metric tons of carbon dioxide.” All of these data shows how much impacts that blue jeans will bring to the environment. In addition to that, China is the world biggest denim production country and I saw how damaged the environment is in part of cities in China. Therefore, my video will focuses on the data and the production of denim. Below are the video that I collected for my video making.

Brett Morgen directed Jane in 2017. It is a documentary about Jane Goodall. 1. What impact does the documentary have on elevating awareness about the topic? This film has elevated the awareness about the caring of chimpanzees. 2. What is innovative about the film from a storytelling perspective? Any technical innovations? Jane uses her own story with monkeys to raise more awareness to this topic. In this way, her story is more real to the audiences than other forms of telling the story. 3. Does the film elevate the general 'celebrityhood' of the subject? Does it introduce new terms or ideas into the vernacular? For me, I think her purpose of making this film is not to generate a celebrityhood feeling. What she is doing is using her low toward chimpanzees to affect more people. This film is more about educating people to care about environment and love chimpanzees than glorifying Jane herself. Thus, I don't think the movie elevate general celebrityhood of the subject. 4. Do you think this film has inspired social actions, changes in human behavior or governmental policies? If so, how? This film does inspire social actions. I think as more people care about this issue, monkeys will have better lives in the future. 5. What inspired you about the film? This film inspires me to care more animals especially those that were hurt by human beings. I also impressed by the connection between animal and human. This connection is so touching to me.

"Lo and behold is a documentary that directed by Werner Herzog. The film was released in2016. The whole movie is talking about how the internet influences human life.
1. What impact does the documentary have on elevating awareness about the topic? This documentary shows the negative connection between human and Internet. One of the thing that mentioned in the film is that people depend on technology a lot. However, the internet is the thing that took away people's emotion. Internet will influence the way people think. Herzog wants people to know that humanity is more important than the internet. 2. What is innovative about the film from a storytelling perspective? Any technical innovations? I think the way Herzog analysis the issue is very innovative. He is not using phones, but he is compellingly addressing this topic by using his unique storytelling perspectives. All the thing that Herzog mentioned in the film is easy to understand. 3. Does the film elevate the general 'celebrityhood' of the subject? Does it introduce new terms or ideas into the vernacular? I think this film does elevate the general celebrityhood of the subject. The topic is not new to lots of people. However, Herzog brings a very subjective view to this topic. The way he uses to address the issue has more impacts on the audience than other people. 4. Do you think this film has inspired social actions, changes in human behavior or governmental policies? If so, how? Yes, it does. I think for me as an ordinary people who did not know about this issue that much well are moved by this film. I was terrified of the internet world, and I was one of the users even did not realize the seriousness of this issue. I believe that this film will influence more people like me. 5. What inspired you about the film? This film inspires me to look at the internet in more perspectives. I think for the future, I'm not going to use the internet blindly. I will think twice before I use it.

For my final project, I will focus on the melting glacier world. I'm doing a project about denim. I want to figure out how much impact that denim industry brought to the environment.
I will make a video to speak about this issue. I think it is important to let people know about the impact of textile waste to the climate change and to the glacier world. There are animals still living in the North and South poles. They are losing their home because of the human beings.  China is the world biggest denim produce country, I have seen the damage that the denim production brought to people's health and living habitat. I want to illiterate the serious of this issue.
Here is the research video that I have made:

The artist is known as Ears. He is a violinist however he has strong talent on painting. Ears like to incorporate music into his painting which is an innovative way to look at art expressions. When he was young, he started to draw on walls. In 2007, after he goes to the art school, he started to trade street art as part of his professions. He would randomly pick a space that interesting to him and then leave his paintings on the walls. Most of his wall paintings can be found at Inner West Sydney. What I liked about ears work is that he can perfectly express his own personality and aesthetic to the audiences. He brought his attitudes toward art to the public. This is also the reason why I think the street art can populate a particular area. It is so intriguing to look a public area with an interesting wall art.

One Day We’ll All Be Dead and None of This Will Matter By Sacchi Koul
Favorite Quote: “There is no cowardice in removing yourself from a wildly unhealthy and unwinnable situation . . . You shouldn't feel like you have to play . . . you don't owe anyone anything. You don't have to be available to everyone. You can stop.” ― Scaachi Koul, One Day We'll All Be Dead and None of This Will Matter
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MtLs6pefFI
Sacchi Koul is a very brave woman. She smartly used social media to speak out her thoughts about feminism. Her action will encourage lots of women who do not have the courage to share their story to really step out their comfort zone and face the reality. From the quote that I share, we can know Sacchi Koul is pushing people to be themselves and don’t scared about other people’s thoughts. Sacchi uses light and even humor tone to depict her story, that remains me a strong impact. Her attitudes toward life are so positive that I think I have to really think about to change my attitude toward life.

•How does this book change or enhance the definition of "celebrityhood"
Mala Yousafzai right now can be called as a celebrity. She used her intelligence to tell the society to change the constrained view toward women. In Pakistan, women are treated lower than men. However, this book is the way to speak about the women powers.
•What contributions does this book make to social change?
I think this book makes more people pay attention to the women rights and the girls in Pakistan.
•What new concept did this book introduce to the world?

In my mind the most do-gooder celebrity is AI Wei Wei. I like what he had done, however after he moved to U.S.. He is so commercial. As an critical art participant, he should focus more about the present. All his work goes back to old China.

I did not attend the Women’s march.
Tumblr media
This is my favorite picture because it shows the public power. Moreover there are not only women attended in the march but also men. This shows it is not a issue for women but also men.
