Happy Birthday Donald Duck! Today, we celebrate the 90th birthday of everyone's favorite quacking Disney character - Donald Duck! From his iconic voice to his mischievous personality, Donald has been entertaining audiences for 90 years.

History of Donald Duck
Donald Duck has been entertaining audiences for 90 years today. He made his debut in Walt Disney's animated short "The Wise Little Hen" on June 9, 1934. Since then, he has become one of Disney's most cherished characters, appearing in numerous films, TV shows, and comic books.

Anselmo's first performance as Donald is heard in a 1986 Disney Channel special, "D-TV Valentine". And, his first feature film voicing Donald was in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" in 1988.
Today, Anselmo continues as the official voice of Donald Duck. However, voice actor Daniel Ross took on the role as Donald's voice in the Disney Junior series "Mickey and the Roadster Racers" and "Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures".

Meet Inside Out's Anger at Disneyland
Even though Pixar Fest is in full swing at the Disneyland Resort, a new Pixar character will be joining his pals on Pixar Pier for a new meet & greet. Starting Friday, June 14, 2024, guests will be able to meet Inside Out's Anger at Disneyland - Disney California Adventure park on Pixar Pier. This is also the same day that Inside Out 2 premieres in theaters nationwide.

Anger will join Riley's emotions Joy and Sadness on Pixar Pier for a daily meet and greet. Starting June 14th, Anger's appearance times will be available in the Disneyland App.
Anger is just one of the many Pixar characters that guests can meet during Pixar Fest. Guests can also dance and play with some of their favorite Pixar characters at the Pixar Pals Playtime Party at Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland park. The party is in full swing daily from 11:45am to 5:30pm with Cast Member performers and Pixar characters dancing along with guests.
Plus, the “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” Parade is an all-new parade at Disney California Adventure park for Pixar Fest where guests can see some of their favorite Pixar characters on parade. The parade runs twice daily at 4pm and 6:30pm.

Happy National Donut Day! Yes, National Donut Day is a real thing and has been a real day on the first Friday of June each year since 1938. And to celebrate, Disney Eats has created a new donut-themed merchandise collection. The collection includes a Spirit Jersey, mini-backpack, Minnie Mouse headband and Starbucks Tumblers. But warning, these items are going to make you want to eat a donut!
Mickey Mouse Donut Spirit Jersey
With every Disney merchandise collection, there is always a Spirit Jersey. There is one for the Disneyland Resort and one for the Walt Disney World Resort. The retail price is $79.99 each. The Spirit Jersey features a Mickey Mouse shaped donut with sprinkles on the front and the Resort logo with icing on the back. Available in sizes XS to XXL.
Minnie Mouse Donut Ear Headband
This Minnie Mouse Donut Ear Headband features donut ears covered in a pink glaze and decorated with colorful sprinkles. The headband is topped with a sequin-covered bow. Retail price is $39.99. Available in adult sizes.
Mickey Mouse Donut Loungefly Mini Backpack
The Disney Eats Donut collection includes a mini backpack by Loungefly. The backpack features a Mickey Mouse shaped glazed donut on the front with sprinkles all over the backpack. The Disneyland Resort exclusive pin released today is the sixth Fantasy Parades pin.
Jungle Cruise is the sixth pin in the Disneyland Resort Fantasy Parades series. This pin is $19.99 with a Limited Edition size of 2,500.
Walt Disney World Pin Released June 4, 2024
The Walt Disney World Resort Exclusive pin released today is the sixth pin in the Walt Disney World Resort Parades series.
The Carousel of Progress is the sixth pin in the Walt Disney World Resort Parades series. This pin is $19.99 with a Limited Edition size of 3,000.
Disneyland & Walt Disney World Shared Pin Released June 4, 2024
The shared Limited Edition pin released today at both the Disneyland Resort & Walt Disney World Resort is the Summer 2024 pin.
The Summer 2024 Disney Pin features Pain & Panic from Hercules enjoying a day at the beach. This pin is $19.99 with a Limited Edition size of 3,000.

Today, several open edition pins were added to Disneystore.com along with the sixth Marvel Superpower Pops pin.

New Downtown Disney District West End Entrance & Security Checkpoint
As the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort continues to transform, a new entrance & security checkpoint has opened on the West End of the district.
Downtown Disney District West End Entrance & Security Checkpoint
The new West End Entrance & Security Checkpoint is in a slightly different location from the older entrance. This new entrance was moved a little to the East and is located near the construction of the Parkside Market and Din Tai Fung restaurant. The entrance looks so clean and fresh. "Downtown Disney" is spelled out in large silver letters above the security checkpoint.
The new entrance features a mural by artist Nikkolas Smith of the transformed Downtown Disney District. There are also new restrooms located just after the entrance. Once you enter the district, there are still a lot of construction walls up that take you to the new Downtown Disney District stage.

Pixar Fest “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” Parade
The “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” Parade is an all-new parade at Disney California Adventure park for Pixar Fest. The parade runs twice daily at 4pm and 6:30pm.

“Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” Parade
The new song "Better Together" is very catchy and will stick in your head - much like the "Magic Happens" parade song. But, that's not a bad thing because it is a great song!
“Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” is an upbeat celebration of Pixar movies and characters. The parade includes characters from Turning Red, Up, Soul, Inside Out, Luca, The Incredibles, Toy Story, Coco and Monsters Inc. The celebration includes dancers, rollerblade dancers, bicycle performers, parade floats and more!
The parade begins with rollerblade dancers and a Luxo Jr. float with the parade name "Better Together" and "A Pixar Pals Celebration!" on the float.
Turning Red
Next is the Turning Red float. Dancers lead the float which carries Meilin in Panda form, Meilin's friends (Abby, Priya and Miriam), her father and the boy band 4*Town. This float is one of the most popular floats in the parade. Everybody love 4*Town!
Up
The next segment of the parade features characters from Disney-Pixar's Up. First, Russell rides on the back of Kevin down the parade route. Russel and Kevin are followed by Carl Fredricksen riding on a float that also carries Kevin's babies and Dug. There is also a small model of Carl's house floating above the float that is attached to a bunch of balloons.
Soul
Next, the Soul float carries Joe Gardner, some of his music students and little souls. There is a banner on the float that reads "We ♥️ you, Mr. G!". The float is preceded by dancers. The song "It's Alright" can heard playing as the float passes by.
Inside Out
Joy and Sadness follow the Soul float riding on Bing Bong's wagon as they fly over memory balls. Bing Bong is peeking out of the memory balls on the back of the float.
Luca
The Luca float is next. It is designed to look like Portorosso. The float carries Luca, Alberto and Giulia. Luca and Alberto are swimming in water on the coast of Portorosso. They are in human form above the water. But if you look closely, their legs and tails are in Sea Monster form under the water. Giulia rides on a Vespa on top of the float. The float is preceded by Sea Monster dancers and Portorosso Cup Triathlon bikers.
The Incredibles
Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone ride on hoverboards in the next segment of the “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade. If you saw the "Pixar Play Parade" from the previous Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort a few years ago, you will recognize these hoverboards because they were used in that parade.
Toy Story
For the Toy Story segment, Woody rides in the back of a yellow toy dump truck. "Reach for the sky!" and clouds are printed on the side of the truck.
Finale
The parade ends with more parade dancers and a Finale float carrying Miguel & Dante from Coco, Jesse & Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story movies and Sulley and Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc. The float also features a Pixar ball.
And rope carrying dancers end the “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade.
