Paulie and Booble are both sparrow men with flaws in their eyes; logically, they both wear glasses; however their optical limitations are very different and opposite; obviously each one must feel weird with the other’s glasses.

WHO IS WHO??

This image is to show who are the fairies that appear in my drawings; most of them are secondary characters from the Disney Fairies books, familiar to those who have read them; only three fairies (all sparrow men) are my authorship. The image shows their appearance in the fairies books paired with my “versions”. I clearly based my version of Queen Clarion on her appearance in the books; a few characters are taken from the movies. For me it has been very interesting to make this curious combination of characters from the same Disney universe and see their development together.

下描き『SparrowMan』

とりあえず描いてみたかった『SparrowMan』集合写真の下描き。

Bobble, from way back not long after he first arrived. Fairies still called him “Miss Kettletree” back then, and the tinker outfits he was given by the tailor-talents weren’t really to his taste (”They’re all far too extravagant, and who wants that anyway Clanky?”).

Thankfully tinker-talents are made for problem-solving really. Clank soon figured out a style for Bobble’s overalls that he liked and felt he could do some actual work in. The stitching is a little bad on the overalls Clank made, but he isn’t a tailor-talent (he had to get some help), but they’re Bobble’s favourite.
