disabled people are worthwhile with meaningful lives. if you can't work because of disability. if you can't study, can't be independent. can't do house chores. can't care for yourself. you have the same worth and meaning as everyone else. you deserve the same dignity and respect. there's no life that is a waste to live

my mental health does not nullify my physical health, by the way.
i’m just as chronically ill now as i was when i was experiencing active psychosis. yes, i was experiencing delusions and hallucinations. no, this does not mean that my pain and illness were not real.
i’m just as chronically ill now as i was when i was experiencing heightened ocd symptoms and had to research different conditions to make sure that if i were to develop them, i would know. my obsessions surrounding developing illnesses did not negate the fact that i was already ill and in pain.
if someone is psychotic and disabled, that does not mean their illness is also inherently unreal. if someone has OCD and is disabled, that does not mean their symptoms are just obsessions. if someone has HPD and is disabled, that does not mean their illness is inherently used for attention. if someone has anxiety and is disabled, that does not mean their symptoms are inherently psychosomatic. if someone has an eating disorder and is disabled, that does not mean all of their symptoms are suddenly due exclusively to that disorder.
this goes for literally any mental disorder or condition. someone who struggles with mental health is not excluded from having issues with physical health.

Biggest indicator of US decline: You could buy 6 BigMacs with 1 hour of minimum wage in 1980, but today you can't even buy one, despite minimum wage more than doubling.

Ableism also comes from within our community
if you as a disabled person make other disabled people feel bad for not being able to work, exercise, attend school, cook, clean, go to the bathroom on their own, or anything esle that doesnt fucking affect you, you are a massive piece of shit and i am in your walls. run.
