Question! Are there going to be any support animals in the game or in the future? Ik Jerry has a bunch of sheep and German Shepard, but ifk if they were shown as support animals or not, and I dont remember if their was actualy any mention of a support animal already so of their was apoligies for that!
I just think it be good representation and also be good for fun intreactoins :3
I mean- have you seen Randy and Norm? Those two need some sort of support animal/pos
it's funny you mention this, i was planning to write a lil thing about Gingi going through animal support training since my childhood dog tried to get certified as a support animal and failed and I figured the same exact thing would happen to Gingi.
Basically, I imagine Gingi's friends had the idea that it'd make a good support animal since it's dated so many people around town and approved their lives, but during training, freaked out during that part where the animal has to sit in a room while someone walks around it using a cane in an exaggerated/noisy way (as a stress test to make sure the animal won't freak out in any circumstance around them.)
Gingi savaged the cane. Gingi's friends appealed to have gingi repeat the test, but Mayor Mingus blocked it because she uses a valuable cane and the last thing she wants is for Gingi to begin instinctively mauling canes.
(There's also therapy-emus in Roger's route, but they don't do the job awfully well. bc they're emus. roger doesn't get the connection.)
are there any frenchies in dialtown..is anyone in the town french........
Yes.
You're going to meet one of those residents in the Roger's route DLC I'm working on right now. His name is Fabron, and he's the IT Guy at Roger's plant!
hi, i love your games and i was just wondering something about randy, if he would date anyone cuz "beggars can't be choosers" does that include manipulative relationships?? .. like if someone bad asked him out, and they were extremely manipulative, how long would it take for randy to leave the relationship? or would he just stick with it?
((i love randy so much please tell me he would leave eventually))
It definitely puts him in danger of entering a manipulative relationship, but eventually, if treated badly enough, he would leave.
when i was writing the characters' backstories, i decided to write somewhat about their pasts too in order to get in the right headspace for each character (and knowing it'd be a good launchpad for future content, if dt succeeded) and the thing about randy is that he actually has already gone through some character development pre-meeting gingi.
the last major lesson randy learned, pre-gingi, was recognizing when people don't have your best interests at heart and cutting ties with them if that's the case. while randy is a pushover, he DOES stand up for himself in the ending where you ditch him outside of gingi's tent and then leave, when it's obvious that Gingi does NOT care about Randy. so, yeah, i think randy would leave at a point once his tolerance for bullshit is exhausted, even if his desperation makes him largely more patient than he should be. hope this helps!
wait do the heads have blood? if i hit randy very hard on the head with a hammer and he went pop, would there be blood and brains or just wires and stuff?
blood and brains too. you can see it vaguely in one of his endings.
I am curious, can you take off the handset (the phone part that you can pull out of the phone to talk into) out of Oliver's face and talk into it? How would it be like for Oliver? Would it be like whispering a secret into his ear? Would it be different for other dialtown characters who have a handset for their head like Gingi, Jerry and Tango? What is the general consensus of taking another person's handset and talking into it?
Yeah, you can take it off and speak into it, but it's considered an intimate gesture. Oliver would probably be the least fazed by it of the applicable cast you could do this with, but most people would be like "what the FUCK are you doing." comparing it to the sensation of whispering into someone's ear by speaking directly into it is correct.
