I think itâs important to specify, Sam didnât kill Shelob⊠he fucked her UP. He wounded her worse than literally anything sheâd experienced in the entire history of Middle-Earth. He hurt this bitter, vengeful, hate-filled spider so bad she crawled into a hole so deep sheâd never be found and stayed there forever.
You can kill someone with a lucky shot. Samwise fucking TRAUMATIZED a demonic demigod so bad she was afraid to ever show her face again, and frankly I think thatâs even MORE impressive
Thinking of the larger context of LOTR and like, the fellowship swapping old war stories and shit and Sam just says âYeah I killed a huge spiderâŠShelob, I think?â
