the met gala isnt the center of fashion anymore as it once was. I think harry is going to find different avenues to showcase his style and fashion but I dont think its going to be through met gala or vogue

sure! i was just saying i cant see him going this year ! i dont think hes a one and done necessarily, lots of big names return even if more influencers go each year. i dont care for anna wintour so would love to see him do other things and spread his fashion wings

I think the met gala has lost its prestige, and it has become more of an influencer event. Some of the biggest mega stars dont attend anymore or never have. I think at that time when harry co-chaired it was perfect for him with fine line era, his very close relationship with alessandro and Gucci plus the theme kinda fitted his persona. I just dont think people view the met gala the same way as they did once

i mean i think you could say that about most celebrity events nowadays, there has been a cultural fall off like most of them invite loads of influencers and aren't held in high esteem anymore but i do think the met gala still gets sooo many eyes on it and i agree when he did it it was great timing, i think that timing could happen again but i was mostly just specifically saying i cant see him going this year when he has purposefully removed himself from celeb life. that was my main point

i agree, its so frustrating to me bc i feel like anne hathaway could be a great person to be like actually being 40 isnt scary and im still worthy and have value bc im still sexy/smart/ creative etc. instead this movies like 40 year old women can only find their own freedom and self worth if they fuck 20 year old boys

idk! to me fashion is such a big part of who he is and he has a good relationship with vogue where i can def see him going back, especially if he keeps investing in smaller designers. i just cant see him doing it this year when he is so unplugged from the celeb world. but time will tell!

oh i know its getting raves. apparently they reworked the book to smithereens so the script is good and the actings great which i feel like they couldve accomplished with an original story that didnt involve a 40 year old woman falling in love with a 19 year old harry styles

i think harry is way too committed to his year of Not Working to walk the carpet at the met gala like i feel like him showing up would be an indication that music is happening soon which i dont think it is.
