Diabolik Lovers: How old are the vampires?

Alright, I wrote this on Amino a good month or so back and I decided to post it here. Please bear in mind that there is a large chance that this entire estimation is complete BS. Anywho, it never really is stated how old the vampires are mentally. Biologically, they all are teenagers, but how long have our favourite boys actually been around? Here’s my theory:

First, let’s look at what we know about how old the guys are. For one, they definitely do not age like a normal human, since we can see that the triplets look exactly the same as they did 17 years ago in the anime. I’m assuming that the anime takes place in 2012 (the day the game was released). The Mukami Bros probably began to age similarly once they were turned into vampires. We can see this in the flashbacks that show Shuu and Edgar/Yuma together. We can’t really tell who is older or younger but they are roughly the same age. A couple of years later, Edgar/Yuma is turned into a vampire. Now, back to the present, Yuma and Shuu are still the approximately the same age. The only thing I don’t get is how Shuu is 2 years older than Yuma, since the latter did have a couple of years before he encountered Karl Heinz. However, that is mostly irrelevant, so let’s move on.

This is where we have to do a lot of inferring. Let’s get one thing straight, I don’t know that much about life in Japan (where the game and anime are most likely set) so I may be wrong on a couple of points. So, let’s look at the Mukami Brother’s flashbacks. It’s clear that they all were born just before the some kind of war, since it is said that Kou was given away to be harmed because of a war that was going on. I’m assuming this is World War 1 because they could not have been born before 1887. Why? That’s because Kou grew up in the sewers. The sewer system was first implemented into Japan in 1887, and even then that was only one city. By 1900, seven cities had a sewage system. I’m assuming that Kou grew up in one of those. From that info, we can sort of infer he was born at around 1902 and was around twelve when he met Karlheinz. I think this may have happened in 1914. Because he is 17 years old in the anime, which I am assuming took place in 2012 due to the game being released then, that means he aged approximately 5 years physically in the span of 98. That is 20, rounded to a whole number, years for each physical year. That gives us more than enough info for the Sakamaki’s.

With this info as a base, here are my guesses for all of the vampires:

Subaru: 320 years old and born in 1692

Ayato, Laito and Kanato: 340 years old and born in 1672

Reiji: 360 years old and born in 1652

Shuu: 380 years old and born in 1632

Azusa, Kou and Yuma: 105 years old and born in 1902

Ruki: 106 years old and born in 1901 (since he was probably one year older than his adoptive brothers before they were turned into vampires)

As I have already said at least five different times, this is just my interpretation on the matter. This all does seem to match up with what we have been given, though, so there.
