How to Create a Printed Book from Your ebook
Writing the ebook version of a book is hard, but creating a print version of an ebook is harder. You need an actual, professional-looking, appealing copy that will be priced at three times the ebook version. Even though digital printing allows you faster turnaround and design flexibility, the printed version can be very different from the digital version. Here is how to create a printed book from your ebook.
Proofread
The word count doesn’t matter when your book is in the digital format. However, every extra word in the printed version can contribute to extra pages and increased costs. In fact, revise your text at least twice to rid it of any unnecessary content. This is necessary also to ensure there are no spelling or grammatical errors.
Get the right page size
This is actually the first thing to think about when you convert an ebook to a hard copy. Make sure your printing services provider offers standard sizes like 5 X 8 inches. Bigger pages give you the luxury of charging less for the book and yet making profits.
Spend time with the design and layout
Consistency in fonts, heading sizes, colors, and other design elements is highly important. Inconsistencies are easy to miss in an ebook, but differences in font size or consistency are evident in a printed version. The same goes for punctuation and formatting options like italicization and emboldening. Pick a font that offers curled serifs.
Look up covers online
The best thing would be to ask your book printing company to come up with design options for the cover. However, if you still want to do it yourself, you can access online cover creating applications. You can use your own photos, text, or illustrations as well. These platforms do offer templates, but for your book to really stand out, you will have to get it professionally designed.
Ensure color replication
Colors on the screen look very different from colors printed on paper. Your home printer most likely uses a CMYK scheme, even though graphic designers work with RGB. Print a test image and compare it to the color on the screen. Monitor calibration can also help ensure proper color replication.
Look at more pixels
EBook PDFs should be saved at a resolution of 300 DPI. Lower resolutions can be worked with in the digital space, but when it comes to book printing, adding extra pixels is recommended. This is even more crucial for books that have illustrations and photographs. Ebook files should be saved with the highest possible resolution.
Consider your paper options
At the printing stage, the first question that comes to one’s mind is the paper that is to be used. You could go for regular quality paper, or opt for the coated variety, which, with its satin-like feel, is resistant to dirt and moisture. Coating is necessary when printing extremely sharp images is required. Also ask your printing services company the binding options they provide.
Digital proofs are great for ensuring quality ebooks. Likewise, in case of actual book printing, hard proofs are what you require. They are absolutely necessary when you need specific elements like synthetic material for the paper, accurate brand colors, and textured covers.

Types of Brochure Folds
Are you aware of the different brochure folds you can choose from? Although the printing company you hire will certainly help you with your choice, it is always a good idea to gather some basic knowledge about the same. Start by asking yourself a few questions like how you would ideally wish to use the brochure, the content you want to accommodate and the type of reader you wish to impress. Once you decide on your objectives, here are some of the top fold types to choose from.
The quintessential single halves fold
This is possibly the most standardized form of brochure folding. The sheet is simply folded into two halves from the middle. So we have two panels in the front side and two panels in the back side. If you are looking for a basic form, this one is your best choice. As your brochure printing company will advice, this type of folding is appropriate for brochures that have large prints and elaborate designs.
The tri-fold
This one is a common fold that is used widely for brochures and mailings. It looks much like a letter which is hand folded for inserting envelopes. Basically, the sheet of paper used for creating the brochure is folded twice. The right panel towards the inside folds in the left direction and the left panel of the inside folds towards the top right, giving the shape of a cover page.
The double parallel fold for your brochure
You can achieve this fold by folding the brochure sheet twice in half, both in the same direction, thus resulting in eight panels, of which 2 are in the front and 2 are towards the back. The panels in the backside are required to be slightly smaller than the ones on the outer panels for folding properly within the two panels on the outer.
Barrel Fold
The sheet is folded towards the inside, several times like you are rolling the paper with the folds. The outer panels on both sides should be the largest and the successive panels starting with the third should be about 1/16 inches smaller than the preceding panel, for folding properly.
The piece is folded inward multiple times as if you are “rolling up” the paper with folds. The outside two panels must be the largest, and each successive panel beginning with the 3rd must be about 1/16″ smaller than the previous panel to fold properly.
The map fold
All of us are familiar with a road map and therefore this fold should be familiar to us all. Here a sheet is folded many types for creating a piece of media that is compact and expands into a large document. Because of the complex nature of the fold, machines are used for the purpose and they are printed in lighter stocks. This document is specialized for fitting large data in limited space.
Apart from these basic ones, there are many more options to choose from. Once the fold has been decided upon, you will need to choose the right printing technique, be it offset printing, digital printing or any other printing technique of your choice.

Why Print Marketing still Matters
Print marketing is more relevant than ever, as more and more customers choose to unplug from digital media and consume printed information. An article called ‘Is Google Making Us Stupid,’ published in 2008 in The Atlantic, reveals how online information stays in the memory for much shorter periods.
Compared to online ads and newsletters, brochure printing can achieve better results. Reading printed ads is a multi-sensory experience, and hence makes the product more desirable. Here is why print marketing still matters.
It can grab attention
So far, not many businesses have realized the potential of print marketing. This puts you at an advantage compared to your rivals, who are still banking on email marketing to generate attention. Diverting some of your online marketing budget for door-to-door flyers can help you stand out among the rest. Magazines that have stopped print operations have left a visible gap in the print marketing domain, and you can exploit it.
It helps you reach out to niche audiences
Some parts of your customer base don’t access the internet as often. By not investing in print marketing, your business can lose these customers. Moreover, unlike digital media, printed magazines and newspapers tend to have loyal subscribers. This can also help you reinforce over longer periods of time. Look for publications that cater to a specific market and place your ad strategically.
It is affordable
You might think that unlike online marketing, print marketing includes the cost of printing and material and therefore must be expensive. This is not true, as advancement in printing technology has reduced costs. For instance, costs can be significantly reduced when printing in bulk with offset printing services. For its cost, print also provides greater value, and is profitable in the long term.
Greater credibility
It is natural for customers to be influenced more by printed content. Internet content is often editable and less credible. On the other hand, prestigious businesses have been using print marketing much before digital marketing was devised. Materials like banners, brochures, and presentation folders lend certain credibility to your business. Hire a printing company that can offer several design options for your print marketing collateral.
It receives greater focus
Content on the internet often makes for shallow reading, and doesn’t enjoy the retention rate that printed content does. Attention spans are decreasing, and with the added distraction of continuous advertisements, applications, and notifications, customers do not remember online ads very well. Print marketing benefits from its tangibility and the persuasive weight of the printed word. Getting stickers and valuable marketing keepsakes printed is a great way to your customers to keep the printed materials in their homes.
Print ads are more informative
Ads on the internet involve a lot of linking and are often vying for space and attention with other ads. Even newspaper ads, which often have very little space, have to deliver the message very clearly. However, with brochure printing, you can both deliver your message in detail, and provide information. The fact that print marketing is informative makes it valuable.

Top Tips for Designing and Printing Booklets
Despite the rampant presence of online marketing, booklets have succeeded in standing the test of time as a proven tool for a successful print ad campaign. A well designed handy booklet is one of the best tools for spreading the word across the market. However, readying that perfect booklet campaign can prove to be cost intensive. Therefore, it is extremely important to plan the design and distribution model of your booklet impeccably for extracting maximum from the campaign. It should begin by choosing the best printing services for the job.
Once you have found the best among book printing services you can afford, here are a few more tips to adhere to.
Keep it simple
How well you design your booklet defines your uniqueness. Design decisions that lend that touch of novelty to your ad print are truly appreciated.  However, amidst the entire clamor for attention, remember to keep it simple always. When it comes to content, layout and typeface, it is equally important to keep them as simple as possible. Consider doing away with crammed text, busy or confusing layouts, hard-to-read typefaces and so on. These will only end up confusing your potential customers. Remember, it is simplicity that will keep the audience interested and focused.
Know the printing process first
Before you plan your design, it is advisable to ask your printing services specialist to explain the printing process. Printing presses are not able to print from the paper edge. What they do is print oversized copies and then cut to the specified shape desired by you. Therefore, it would be important for you to demarcate the critical print area or the safe design area. You need to keep a substantial margin of about 1/8inches for the bleed and an additional margin of another 1/8inches before placing critical text. This will ensure that important matter is not sliced off during the final cutting process.
Concentrate on the cover
Remember, your booklet will be competing with several others for attention. And the first brush it will have with its readers will be through the cover. The cover largely decides which booklet will be picked up first. Therefore, it needs to be designed impeccably. Make sure you put your best foot forward when finalizing the choices for your book cover.
When designing the booklet, often times we pay more attention to the designing and aesthetics and tend to forget what we had started out to convey. Always keep your USP in mind. That is what will take you through. Your content should be woven around your unique offering. Readers should be able to identify the value element from your offering and find the need for the same.
Thankfully, digital printing services of today are of much help. They provide all the necessary assistance as well as guidance required for coming up with the perfect design and content plan for your booklet. All you need to do is choose the right printing company, after some research and background checks.

Top Tips for Catalog Printing
Catalogs can help generate a huge volume of sales. When they are suitably designed, eye catching and self-explanatory, they can work wonders even for small businesses. However, for best results, you should make your catalog stand out in the competition. As a means to that end, your first step should be to choose the right printing services for catalog printing. Here are some more tips to follow for getting your catalog design right.
Choose the right printing company
With so many printing companies out there, finding the best for your job could prove to be a daunting task. You need to zero in on a reputable and reliable firm. Always look for a printing firm with an experience in brochure printing and catalog printing. Expertise should be sought in offset printing as well. It is also equally important to ascertain whether the firm understands your business. Checking on these aspects will ensure that the catalog printing will be executed with utmost professionalism.
Visualize the end product before you start designing
Asking yourself a few vital questions is important. Who are your customers? How can you pull them successfully? What should be the size of your catalog? Is your brand associated with a specific set of colors? Having specific answers to these questions will help in making the right choices.
Identify your requirements and priorities
Some self preparation before your first get your catalog printed is always good. Decide on the number of pages you want to have in your catalog, the size, paper type, color choices and most importantly finalize on the content. Remember, the information you are providing through your catalog should be 100% correct. So make sure you have created accurate content and that the customer has been provided with every bit of information he or she needs. Having some idea of the colors you wish to use and the paper types also helps.
The cover is extremely important
Designing the catalog cover well is crucial. The cover would be the first exposure to the customer and it should be attractive enough to compel them for picking it up. Bold and smart colors would be ideal to attract attention. Consider laminating the cover or adding a foil covering and even embossing for that special touch.
Spare a thought for the type of binding
The nature of binding you choose would be a huge matter of preference. It will of course depend on the number of pages in the catalog. You can use saddle stitching if your catalog is of 100 pages or thereabouts. If your catalog is larger and your offerings premium choose perfect binding which will involve gluing the catalog cover onto the backbone.
Essentially, layouts must match orientations. If you have landscape images you need to have wider pages to accommodate them. And most importantly, check and edit every aspect of your designing over and over again before you can give a go-ahead to your printing company. Remember, there is no scope for any error. The catalog is your window for communicating with your customer. And every aspect of the communication should be perfect.

Reasons Your Company Needs to Publish a Print Magazine
As businesses and non-profit organizations expand their online presences, print marketing continues to suffer. However, despite the explosion of social media and online communities, your business could have potential customers elsewhere, too. Moreover, with decreasing attention spans, the internet is no longer a credible place to engage with your community.
Look up a good book printing company and have your own company magazine printed and published. Businesses that invest in print also have a better chance at developing credibility faster. Here are some reasons why your company should publish a print magazine.
It helps attract attention
In an age where businesses inundate mailboxes with newsletters and magazines, launching a print magazine can make you stand out. Surveys have also revealed that print advertising receives quality attention. Compared to an online magazine, a print magazine is harder to give up as well. With high-quality graphics, thanks to digital printing, you will be able to impress prospective customers more.
It has no costs for audience-development
Publishers have to spend a lot of time and money to win over subscribers to send their magazines to. It also happens that publishers have to spend definite amounts of money for auditing purposes. Considering one dollar is spent on a distribution of 100,000 readers, $100,000 is spent for audience development alone. However, with print magazines, you don’t have to worry about this cost, as you can simply use a mailing list.
Old is new
Print magazines are making a comeback, as the consumption of all forms of print media increases. The social media bubble is bursting across the world, and audiences are diverting themselves to older forms of media. Time spent on social media apps in the first quarter of 2016 declined comprehensively from the first quarter of 2015.
For a better call to action
This is probably the most important reason why you need to publish a print magazine. Smartly designed magazines tend to have a certain weight, something that print magazines don’t have. The very act of publishing a magazine makes your organization seem serious about its mission. Moreover, individual fundraising is still being driven by the print medium.
It is backed by science
Neuroscience research shows that print magazines might be able to achieve better connections with our brains. Physical media requires less cognitive effort than digital media, at processing information. To add, unaided brand recall is significantly higher with print than digital.
The same research shows that the unique benefits of print marketing can be leveraged by following a multi-channel approach. Get your company magazine designed and printed from your printing company today, in addition to your existing marketing collateral.
It is cheap
Cheap magazine printing does not have to mean low quality magazine. Look for a company that offers competitive rates and whatever technology is suitable to your order quantity. Offset printing can be cheaper for higher quantities. However, if you are a small company and have a smaller order, digital printing will be the more cost-effective option.

Tips for Choosing the Right Fonts for Corporate Brochures
Be it attracting attention at a public event, or providing information about one’s business, corporate brochures can do it all. Brochures are versatile marketing material, and a number of rules apply to effectively designing it. Selecting the right font ensures maximum readability and visual appeal. Choosing the right printing company for brochure printing is also important. Read on for tips on choosing the right fonts for corporate brochures.
Select legible types
Choosing a certain font/typeface that you routinely use in a word processing program is not advisable. The primary requirement of a suitable font is readability, but it should also mirror the tone of the information being put across. Some legible fonts that you could use are:
Century Expanded
Century Schoolbook
Georgia
Palatino
Times New Roman is a commonly used type, but is not suitable for desktop publishing projects. This is because when emboldened or italicized, it loses legibility. If you are unsure about what fonts to use, consult your book printing company on the matter.
Consider font families
It is common in brochure printing to decide on a family of fonts for different elements of the brochure, namely, body text, captions, headlines, etc. Members of a font family are differently executed variations in type. The Helvetica family, for instance, includes:
Helvetica
Helvetica Bold
Helvetica Oblique
Helvetica Bold Oblique
Standard guidelines to follow
Referring to some good practices will help you with successful brochure printing.
For body text
The right size for body text is 12 pt. Makes sure that a line of body text is always longer than twice the font size. This will measured in picas, where 1 pica is equal to roughly 1/6 of an inch. Proper line spacing is a compulsory rule in book printing, and this should be around 120-130% of the font size.
For headline text
Generally, headline text should be set in 14 pt type in corporate brochures. It should not be too large since that could give the undesirable impression of filling up space. Lastly, remember not to exceed 10 words for headlines.
For caption text
The caption text is the most read part of a brochure after the cover text, and must be highly readable. Generally, captions would need a different typeface from the rest of the brochure. One good practice is to italicize them and hence vary their weight, instead of making them smaller.
What to avoid
Avoid writing large bodies of text inside. Instead, use graphical elements like bullets to break the text up. Some other brochure printing don’ts to remember are:
Don’t use more than 3 fonts in a brochure.
Don’t use condensed serif typefaces or the text could look mashed together and illegible.
Don’t fall for overtly elegant, or lacy typefaces like New Baskerville, Goudy Old Style, New Caledonia, Centaur, Adobe Garamond etc.
Don’t use high contrast typefaces like Didot or Bodoni.
Even commonly used fonts like Helvetica and Arial can look awkward when reduced in size, since letters and numbers blend together.

How to Boost your Brand with Printed Stickers
Stickers have been used as marketing tools since times immemorial. However, they have often remained grossly underused. Some companies feel that stickers could be reckoned as cheap marketing tools and may in turn dilute or devaluate the brand image. However, this is not always the case. High Quality stickers can be excellent brand building tools. Renowned printing services provide custom printed stickers and labels that are affordable yet eye catching. Be it label announcements or package identifications, printed stickers work wonders. Here are some more ways in which stickers boost brand image.
The Versatility Works Wonders
Stickers come in varied shapes and sizes and can be clubbed with a range of other marketing tools for brand promotion. This multiple use factor works as a huge benefit. You can use stickers on anything ranging from windows to vehicles, printed brochures, leaflets and much more. You can consider getting in touch with brochure printing services that specialize in creating a repertoire of printed marketing material. A range of interesting variations will be laid out before you to choose from.
Confluence of Creative Juices Will Build a Robust Brand
If you are planning to make a bold statement, stickers are ideal for allowing your creative juices to flow. Using one of these printed stickers for communicating a unique message will make it stand out. If you are planning to combine them with a brochure, inserting them inside is a great idea. However, whenever you get creative with flyers and stickers, it is essential to keep the brand in mind. Also think about colors and fonts.
Incorporating a Call to Action Works
Stickers work just fine when you use a call to action on them. You can print a promotional code or a voucher code on your sticker and then place it in a flyer. Ask your printing service specialist for placement ideas that work. Once the flyers have been distributed in the market, track the response. You can even use these flyers for offering special seasonal discounts on purchase and also for providing additional information about product innovation. For instance, if you have come up with a “sugar free” variant of your regular snack, you can just consider creating a sticker with a tagline like this, “name of the brand” is now sugar free! Enjoy Guiltless Pleasures!”
Adding Value to Existing Offerings
Adding a sticker to an existing marketing drive could be well suited for showcasing deals and offers. Instead of spending an excessive amount in replacing the existing print, you can use stickers for advertising special deals or stock changes. Stickers work wonders for attracting fresh customers. Also, stickers come in handy, when there is an unexpected change in your product price or specification. Keeping customers informed with a sticker insert is a great idea.
With technologies such as offset printing coming into play, printed stickers have enormous aesthetic appeal. They are highly flexible marketing tools and are cost effective too! They also help in creating novel ideas that are truly out of the box.

Top Tips for Designing Book Covers
Despite what they say, books are more or less judged by covers. One of the most important factors in readers choosing a book is its cover. Cover design has its own aesthetic, and there are major magazine awards for good covers. If you are publishing your own book, you’re probably more concerned about the cover than completing the final draft of the book itself.
Designing a great cover starts with choosing a reputed printing company. Here are some tips on designing book covers.
Avoid doing it yourself
A lot of indie books are flooding the market, but homemade drawings, sketches, and illustrations are a strict no-no. Hire a printing company to help you with a professional design. Even professional graphic designers should abstain from designing their own covers or should at least get a second opinion.
Remember the technical requirements
The cover design is not only about visual aesthetic. Remember a few technical guidelines when getting a book cover designed. Make sure you are submitting copyright-free images, and if not, consult your book printing services company regarding the same. If you still go ahead with submitting copyright-protected images, it might delay the printing of your book. Also remember to choose high resolution images, that is, the ones that have a resolution of 300 DPI or more.
Go for digital printing services
In the recent times, digital printing is the more favored technology for book printing. The same goes for book covers, since there could be problems with the designs, and changes could be required. Additionally, the print quality is consistent in digital printing.
Depending on the quantity, digital printing services can also be more affordable. Since there is no need for extensive setting up and preparation, the printing is accurate and fast.
To make sure your cover garners enough attention, take care of the following.
Go easy on the color
No matter what, avoid using too many colors, not using more than three on a cover. Your book printing services provider can always help you understand what colors go well together. Generally, you should choose bold and contrasting colors.
Minimalism helps convey the idea better
Minimalism isn’t limited to your interior design. It is a timeless template that suits book covers as well. The best part is that a tidy design helps to focus on the author’s name and the book’s title.
Make use of the background
Avoid using white or pale backgrounds, since they would get lost on the white screens of the retailers. Instead, use a texture, color, or a background illustration.
Use fonts in moderation
Readability is the priority here. Use a font that can be readable even when the size is reduced multiple times. Avoid fonts like Papyrus or Comic Sans or any script typefaces. Do not use more than two fonts or fall into the temptation of italicizing or using strikethroughs unnecessarily.
Review a thumbnail version
This is extremely important to know whether the cover is compelling enough at a very small size. If the book will also be sold on online platforms, the cover will have to read clearly.

Debunking the Myths about Digital Printing
When it comes to printing your marketing materials or books, you may often get confused between digital printing and offset printing services. Each printing technique has some pros and cons. You need to choose the right option for you, depending on your requirements and preferences. Even asking your printing company may not help. This is a decision that you have to take on your own.
Digital printing gives you the flexibility to change your designs as many times as you want, without having to spend a fortune on the re-work. Offset printing, on the other hand, involves many layers. First, the image is burnt onto an aluminum plate, then onto a rubber plate, and finally onto a paper from the rubber plate. Quite evidently, making changes is more difficult and costly in offset printing.
Another benefit of digital printing is quick turnaround. As soon as your file is ready, you can hit the print button. You need not wait for the processing. Digital printing is perfect for providing print-on-demand services. You can print as much as you want, and as less as your want. It offers high quality digital images with vivid colors. Despite the benefits, many people advise against digital printing. Before they even try to convince you, read here the common myths about digital printing.
It requires an expensive printer
One common myth says digital printing requires an expensive printer – the one having the latest and the most advanced features. While the fact is, a standard low-cost color inkjet printer is equally competent. All you need to do is to check the size of prints along with the speed of the printer.
It requires a high mega pixel camera
Another common myth is; to acquire high-quality images with digital printing, you must take the picture with a high megapixel camera in the first place. However, the truth is you only have to buy a high mega pixel camera if you need large photo prints. For everyday printing, you can use any standard camera.
It requires original ink
Some people say you should use the original printer manufacturer’s ink in order to get great prints with digital printing. The truth is; any cheaper ink options such as refilled cartridges or compatible printer ink are good enough for everyday work.
It produces the same results on all papers
Some people may try to convince you that digital printing delivers the same results on all types of papers. Don’t believe them. In fact, the type of paper you are using for digital printing makes a lot of differences. Thick, thin, synthetic, recycled, smooth or textured; there are so many paper types available – in which you can print and get the desired results.
It cannot print on big sheets
This is another common myth. The fact is; just like offline printing, digital technology is equally capable of printing large sheets with high efficiency.
It is not eco-friendly
Digital printing comes with the print-on-demand feature. You can print as less as you want. This can reduce the wastage of paper. So it is completely wrong to say that digital printing is not eco-friendly.

Steps to Writing Your First Book
Writing a book is the most felicitous feeling in the world. And writing it for the first time is no less. Publishing a book accolades you with fame, name recognition and authority nonetheless, requires serious hard work, patience and determination. However, before writing it answers about few questions should be clear, like reasons for writing, expectations from writing etc. For first time writers confusions about, what to write, how to write, and whether the writing will be liked by the readers, are pretty obvious. Rebuff those fears and try to write for yourself, not for others. Writing for you enunciates telling something to yourself. This way you can write freely without any burden of fears. Who will publish the book? This is another obstacle in your journey of writing a book. But it’s not an obstacle anymore as there are a number of well-established printing services present in Singapore. These services are happy to publish your book using superior grades of papers and inks. You might toddle a bit while writing for the very first time. So here are some tips.
Select a style
Select a style of writing. While looking at your bookshelf, you will find the genre of books which you want to read rather than the best selling. This way you will come to know what topic influences you the most and to write upon.
Start from the climax
Climax is the most challenging part of any narration.  Most writers have a knock-down start, but by the time climax comes near find them in ponder of puzzles. To avoid such happening try to figure out the end before writing anything.
Build your characters
Remember Harry Potter! The book is based upon an ordinary boy with his extraordinary tales. But do you remember the tales? All you remember is the character, Harry Potter. Characters stay in the mind of readers forever, not the story or its plot. Character’s biography, motivations are few important things which you must mention before writing the story.
Form a sketch
After the characters are set, make an outline of the plots of the story. Briefing about the chapters included, describe the first-string battle of your novel are few of them. Always be ready for extemporisation.
No excuse, write daily
It’s often possible that in the beginning of writing the book you were so excited but by the passage of time the zeal disappear. Be disciplined and write daily whatever, the circumstances are. By this time you must have decided about the word count of your book. Make a deadline to complete your book and accordingly the word count. Set a fix word count for a day and finish it without any excuses.
Hire a proof reader
Once you have completed your book hire a skilled proof reader for your book. Don’t edit your book by yourself as you may not be able to detect the grammatical errors.  This will detach the readers from the storyline of the book.
Publish
After proof reading, here come the most awaiting process, book printing. There are so many publishers present in the market but you can also go for the self publishing as it easier and faster. Your printing company will help you choose whether you should opt for digital or offset printing.

Through simple catalog it would be easier to make the customer understand the product in a better way. Additionally they must be interesting enough to urge the readers to turn the pages with uphold curiosity. In short your catalog should utter everything about the product in a simple yet interesting manner.
An Appealing front cover
An appealing front cover would allure the readers to go through the whole flyer. It should be good enough to convince the readers to look at the products you are offering. You can advertise and can also mention the achievements of your organization. Sometimes mentioning these things help make a positive impression about your book printing company. Another good idea would be to include some rave review and testimonials in your catalog. Customers always want to know what other customers have to say about your products.

Tips to Create a Coffee Table Book
Coffee table books not only help trigger conversation with guests, but you can also use them to market your brand and accomplishments. However, effectiveness of the book depends on its subject, design, and printing quality. It’s meant for anybody who picks it up, but not necessarily everyone will like it. For best results, you should choose an interesting topic, use relevant photographs and good content, and get your book printed by a reputable printing company that has years of experience in providing book printing services. Here are some tips on how to create an effective coffee table book.
Choose an attractive topic
The topic should hit home with your target audience. It could be fashion, entertainment, or any other topics. The idea is to focus on a specific area of interest. Another interesting way to create the book is to infuse different topics. This would help drag maximum number of readers to your book.
Do enough research
Doing the necessary research on the topic is also very essential. For instance, if you are making a coffee table book on the cuisines of Singapore, you should have sufficient knowledge of the subject. Touch upon a wide range of cuisines, starting from ancient cuisines to modern ones. In short, the book should provide complete information on Singaporean cuisines. Also, consider including photographs of delicious cuisines along with the text. The photographs should be drooling enough to attract the reader. You can include your own pictures or can share your thoughts about the topic, which the reader may find interesting.
Get feedback
Before putting the book at a table, get feedback and reviews from your well wishers, who will be brutally honest about it. With the help of their views, you can spot the weak points in your book, and upgrade it accordingly.
Use a compelling introduction
The book must have a clear and compelling introduction along with a magnetic title. It should have the pictures along with the captions, the indexes, and a reference list; so that the reader gets all the details in one place. If required, seek assistance of an experienced editor, who can work with you to complete the book.
Select an acclaimed printing company
The company should have experience providing book printing services. You should check the background and reputation of the company. Read online reviews and testimonials and ask the company to provide samples of their past work. Make sure that they offer a wide range of choices for paper quality. The design and finish should be of high quality. Also, check how they bind the books. You should have enough binding options to choose from. Choose offset printing services for bulk printing and digital printing for shorter runs.
What you should not do
If you are not feeling attached or comfortable with the topic, choose a different topic. Until and unless you choose a topic that you are passionate about, the outcome is not likely to be great. The topic of your coffee table book could be completely new to some guests. So it would be a good idea to avoid using jargons in the book. Make it easy to read and understand for everyone.
