Just woke up from a nap dream (the weirdest kind of dream) that involved a dozen absurd scenarios surrounding primarily some sort of squid-games-esque series of competitions in which I was competing

but the one that sticks out to me was the section where I was the last one left and I walked into in my neighbors entryway and there was a pile of clothes on the floor. And I knew somehow, with no instructions, deep in my soul, that at the top of the stairs was Mori from bsd and that I was going to be judged on my outfit. And if j was good enough I was going to take Elise’s place as his little sidekick.

So I tried to put on a cute outfit from the pile of clothes but every time I put on a new piece of clothing something else I was wearing would randomly change. I was trying to put on an all purple outfit but random red clothes kept appearing on me.

And when I finally got dressed I guess he just took me hostage or something and I became his sidekick or whatever? And idk I guess that was a reward cause I wasn’t dead? And we went on some adventures I guess I don’t remember the in between bits but

It ended with me randomly deciding to escape as we were leaving what I was led to believe was a house party (I didn’t go in I waited in the car) by saying that I needed to go to the bathroom and going to the door intending to run away

(I didn’t actually feel any danger, I was just stirring up shit cause I was bored of hanging out with him)

And when I got to the door it was locked, so I knocked, and when it opened there was NOT a party inside and in fact it was a creepy old lady trying to get to drag me in the house!

And when I turned to call for help Mori was pulling the car out of the driveway and I screamed for him to stop and help me and he gave me this look of just anger and betrayal like he KNEW I was trying to run away and drove off

So I got dragged into the fucked up house and a bunch of other people were also trapped in there and I was mad at myself cause I should have just stayed in the fucking car and I KNEW I should have stayed in the fucking car but Dream!Della doesn’t feel fear very easily and is a shit-stirrer and makes bad choices.

it. it fully is. guys please you know my boyfriend isn't actually named apollo right. he only gets that pseudonym because of my brand. i've been apollos-boyfriend for years he and i have only been together for a month. i named myself apollos-boyfriend because i love greek mythology and apollo and then gave myself the icarus moniker because of that. neither of our online aliases are our real names. you guys know this right.

CLOEN MEAT!!!!!’ CLOWN MEAT!!!!

I love this game so much

Definitely not for everyone it gets VERY dark VERY quickly and really does not spare anyone on the trigger front like. They took a list of common triggers and thought it was a to-do list

HOWEVER!!!!

The world building just HITS, something about this world really scratches a particular itch to me. It’s a very solid “no good guys” type situation where everyone is just doing their best but everything kind of just sucks. But when when things are just horrific and awful there are moments of love and joy and togetherness, even between a butcher and his cattle

It’s full of a unique macabre charm and tone of the most fun characters I’ve seen in a while (my favorite by far is Twinko, the self insert of the soundtrack composer according to a YouTube comment and an all around hilarious character. I’d die for Twinko and they would let me.)

And for a demo release it’s HUGE I can’t fathom how big the actual game is going to be.

If you can stomach some heavy topics I highly recommend checking it out I fell in love in about ten minutes
