guess i should share this piece of leonid lore for @sonic-fankid-showdown too :)

gonna talk about my oc again. the thing about leonid is like. i couldn't decide the specifics of why that roboticizer existed right. whether eggman immortalized himself in a computer to keep spreading the eggman empire, or sage took his place to do so after he dies. cause with either one i thought it'd be interesting for leonid to be yet another "eggman creation" with her own autonomy, or in my eyes be the first "sage creation" to achieve that. a robotnik creation will always find a way! now im leaning more towards the sage thing, cause while the fanon sage/shadow friendship is cute, i ADORE the idea of team dark absolutely despising her when she sees them as technically family. she sincerely thinks of what she's doing w the eggman empire as the best thing for people on earth, and after all these years shadow n omega are still having none of it. she thinks they're so stubborn and wishes they could just see it her way. oh my god i just thought to myself the fucking conflict that would be here if omega killed eggman. would sage be holding a grudge... or still be trying to convince him to come back to the empire...

the roboticizer was definitely an old thing. maybe a few decades it sat there. sage has gotten into the same habit of leaving abandoned bases around like eggman and forgot it was there so when she first sees leonid she's like How The Fuck is that biologically possible. are the descendants of the people who contracted the metal virus forming robotic mutations? or is she an old reactivated and modified shadow android that somehow made it to see 200 years later? and then leonid gets all up in her face and TELLS her WHO SHE IS and how she's gonna destroy her and then sage is faced with yet someone else against her who's technically family again!

i've brought it up before but shadow and omega raised her pretty gender-neutrally n used they/them for her during her early life, since they 1) kinda ended up just doing it naturally, 2) saw it unnecessary to staunchly gender a child they're raising in the post-apocalypse, n 3) don't even care for traditional gender roles themselves. she woke up one day around age 6 n was like. i'm a girl lmao. but not much else changed from there! she's pretty tomboyish and the right pronoun usage is what she's happy with :)

my voiceclaim for leonid is jessie james grelle! i don't know many VAs by name or filmography so my friend helped me pick ^__^ it fits very well the trans cyborg girl gets the transfem voiceclaim

i wanted leonid to have a similar range to her papi shadow and a very slight robotic filter (edited by me in audacity) that she inherits from her dad omega. and the roboticizer she was born from LOL. she has very little dysphoria due to her pretty gender neutral upbringing until she came out - n just generally being happy with herself! - so she doesn't train her voice at all besides just subconsciously ending up with a feminine lilt to it when she speaks.

Another question for everyone if they want to answer! What do you sound like? ( voice claims )

About Wafer: (by @pokeypoqi) being a chao, she's obviously not actually related to either parent, but id like to think she still counts haha! she's a spontaneous little guy with an aptitude for swimming (ironic, considering who one of her parents is) and is just overall very joyful and whimsical.

About Leonid: (by @deimostes) Leonid is the cyborg daughter of Shadow and Omega, born 200 years into the future during Silver's time! She was created in a freak accident when Shadow got trapped in an old roboticizer. Omega got him out, the roboticizer overloaded with Chaos energy, and boom! A baby. She's named after the Leonids meteor shower, since her birthday is 11/15 (release of ShTH 05 :3) and the Leonids peak around that time of year! (Shadow is a nerd and so am I.) The self-proclaimed "Ultimate Cyborg," Leonid is just as prideful and destructive as her dads. She loves making bead bracelets and gifting them to people as a way to bring some light to the desolate future that she, her dads, Silver and Rusty (Shadow's now immortal dark Chaos Chao) do their best to protect :)

my art blog will be becoming leonid central for a while

leonid fashion! there's not much access to different types of clothes in the post-apocalyptic future, but here's hypothetical fits if she did. shadow and omega didn't raise her with any staunch ideas about female mobians traditionally wearing clothes, so she never cared about "covering up" or even gets dysphoric about it in the first place; fashion would just be fun for her. shoutout gnc trans girls <3
