like they’re ways someone wishes to express/not express sexual acts eg placiosexuality, lithosexuality etc
and a sexuality…. is not that. they’re about sexual attraction. in defining myself as bisexual i tell you nothing about my sex life, and honestly the idea of a group of people encouraging other people - mostly teenagers, lbr - to identify themselves by the way they wish to have sex? is super dodgy????
like if someone asks you how you identify, and you say placiosexual, most people don’t know what that is, so you have to explain how you prefer to have sex. not who you are attracted to, just. how you have sex. and something about that makes me very uncomfortable

Honestly this whole aphobe list thing is especially funny when you flip through it and realize there’s no receipts, citations, no nothing other than names and accusations. And a lot of the names on the lest have been on here for years so it doesn’t indicate if the “crimes” happened recently or waaaay back then; so there’s no indication if anyone on the list has changed their views and attitudes towards the statement/sentiments they’re accused of having.
So to put this in perspective: this is a 68 page document written by a 26 year old with each name on there being on there because “one time they said a bad thing”.

Something I’ve noticed:
Maps and pedophiles have such a constricitive definition of what pedophilia is. They snip away at it until only a handful of people can be constituted as “real” pedophiles and what they can get away with and still call themselves “pure”.
Anti-contact to us means that they shouldn’t contact or be around kids. To them, it means no sexual contact with kids, which is much easier to abide by.
Non-offending to us means that they have never touched a child, made a child uncomfortable, invaded a child’s space, assaulted a child, or otherwise harmed a child. To them, it means they’ve never had sex with a child (or haven’t gotten caught).
They’ve stretched the definition of what’s harmful to be so thin that almost nothing constitutes as objectively bad, in their books. Pedophilic fanfic “doesn’t count” as child porn. Reaching out to minors “doesn’t count” as violating anti-contact.
Pedophiles don’t get to decide what’s harmful to minors. Minors do. Pedophiles don’t get to decide whether or not they’re pedophilic or predatory. We do. If pedophiles are allowed to define what’s pedophilic, then that means racists and homophobes suddenly get to decide what’s racist and homophobic.
You don’t get to decide whether or not you hurt someone. Pedophilia is inherently harmful, and no amount of wordplay is gonna change that.
