I can’t be mad.

I can’t be mad that he couldn’t be happy in our relationship. I can’t be mad that he thinks I’m too impulsive and irresponsible for him to see a future with me. I can’t be mad that I gave this second chance my whole fucking heart to be told that it wasn’t enough. I can’t be mad that not even 3 days after we broke up, he followed the girl he told me not to worry about on instagram. I can’t be mad that he’s just doing what he thinks is best for him. I can’t.

I can’t be sad.

I can’t be sad because I know I’m enough. I can’t be sad because I have the best friends in the whole entire world who would drop everything to comfort me. I can’t be sad because I am a damn catch and he will never find someone like me. I can’t be sad because even though it’s over, he truly taught me how to love and our relationship made me feel things I’ve never felt before, and some people don’t even get to experience that. I can’t be sad because he wouldn’t want me to be. I. Just. Can’t.

Heartbreak is FUCKED up. Never have I ever thought that I’d have to go through something like this. Anxiety constantly through the roof because of the unanswered “what ifs” floating in and out of my mind. I’m so incredibly lonely and I don’t know if I’ll ever completely heal. I just wish he’d take me back. It was so perfect. And that’s what sucks the most.
