His breathing was faint, his heart was fluttering, his mind was full, his eyes were finding... her. Her, and there her was. Standing alone in the dark, desolate corridor was her. But she wasn't alone for long. Light, carefully treading footsteps clopped softly atop the stone-laid floor, a step for each thump of his heart until he felt it skip a beat when he took her in his arms and longed to never let go.

Words were caught in his mouth, unsure of what to say, where to begin, how to begin. He needn't say much, just the soft whispers of his voice saying, "I missed you," and adding a tender "I love you," were what he needed to express in this time. And before he knew it, with his face buried within the deep tresses of her hair, a single droplet of a tear escaped from his shut eyes, the pain and hurt of being away from her for so long washing away, never to return again.

Broken Light | Key & Sohee

Sohee had awakened to the light tapping of talon to glass. A snowy owl had been hovering next to her window, obediently clutching a letter in one claw, which she had nearly ripped from its scaly clutches. She had sank onto her bed, fingernails digging into the thin parchment as her eyes swallowed in the hasty scrawl, heartbeat fluttering as she registered each word. He was back. Finally coming back. Her hands flew to her hair, her face, her clothes, shifting endlessly to make herself representable. Her dainty feet had soon carried her out of the dorm, through the common room entrance, and to the promised hallway in which she was to reunite with him. She let her eyes wander in Kibum’s prolonged abscence, taking in a tall, weathered window which bled with light. The jagged, uneven pieces of light reflected onto the floor in broken filaments of gold. Broken. How that word echoed through endless recollections. Broken was what she had been recently. Unstable and noncomittal. She had hardly realized this herself, how blankly she had lost herself in mundane things, preoccupying herself endlessly with letting her mind roam. Now, she felt more lively and alert then she had in the longest time. Her cattish eyes scanned the presently deserted floor, faintly glowing with light, heart straining against her sturdy ribcage like a trapped bird.

I've been a little too invested with this rp recently, and all I've been doing for the past few weeks was slaving away at replies when I probably should have been doing school work lol (I'm horrible at realizing where my priorities lie and actually committing myself to sticking with them). And now that exams are coming up, just mainly one IB Biology HL fudlfjs;ladfk, I have to take a hiatus from this place so I can try and cram two years worth of information in two weeks before the exam. I might have to take another one in June due to normal provincial exams but eh I doubt it because that won't be as stressful or affect me as much LOL

So yeah, during the next few weeks (until May 18th), I'll be away and I'll be taking Key and Luhan with me. Don't miss me them too much ; _____ ;

p.s. - I'll pop in every once in a while just to fluster Maya because I don't think I'll be able to fully hold off from logging in to check on things till then lolol
