As soon as I saw that there’s an official pet shop boys tiktok, I rushed to the comments and they did not disappoint—first one I saw just says “CHRIS LOWE FART ON ME” I truly expected nothing less…. consider this evidence that we must not ban that app

Does anyone have any guesses for what the new Getting Away With It lyrics are? (You can hear them here.) I tried transcribing them but Neil is really mumbly during that section, parts I'm not confident on are in brackets:

Uh-oh! These two have a touch more magic than others, which may lend them an advantage in future rounds.

Bernard’s power consists of foresight. He will see any move coming ten seconds beforehand, assuming he chooses to do so. He is also a rough Salford lad, meaning he can and will throw hands even without relying on his power. He can summon ally Peter Hook if his health gets low. However, if sufficient provocation can be enacted, Bernard and Hooky can be set against each other and deal damage to each other. If they both faint from this, a special event occurs where they are locked into the Haçienda overnight.

Morrissey’s power consists of communication with nature. Flower stalks can be summoned to thwack enemies with. Hordes of cats can be set upon unfortunate opponents. Physical damage dealt to opponents by regular old fists is high and there are strong levels of speed and agility. However, due to a general inner code of nonviolence and an inability to be largely competent in a fight, regular physical attacks are rare events. This is compensated for by his ally-hailing potential. Available allies include: Jake Walters, Johnny Marr, Boz Boorer, Alain Whyte, Gary Day, Spencer Cobrin, and more. Of all combatants in the tournament, Moz has the most allies to choose from. Jake is the only ally permitted to utilize a magic power (a blinding camera flash that stuns opponents for five seconds). Jake also deals 2x extra damage within five seconds of Moz taking damage. If Jake is present when an enemy is made to faint, a special event occurs where drawings of swallows on their skin come off and fly away as real birds in a triumphant romantic scene.
