Katara Stans are Horrible

Before any of you go nuts, I don't hate Katara, I personally find her to be an okay character, my main problem with her is not Katara herself, but rather the fans, and while I will admit they aren't as annoying as Zuko's fans but I already made an article about that, Katara stans are still so annoying. Every time Katara gets angry, they'll ramble on and on about how she's such a badass, or how empowering to females it is, even in the scenes where she's just supposed to be just angry and not portrayed in the right, I hate how everyone views these moments as milestones for female characters and not heating-up periods, heating-up periods happen to everyone, when we're super angry about something, we might snap at someone even if they did nothing wrong, that's the point of these scenes, to prove that she can get angry at times. But even this can piss me off sometimes, Katara stans sometimes act like the only personality that Katara has is being a mean girl that's "strong and independent", and views her own friends as "incompetent, reckless idiots" that rely on her all the time, despite the fact the THEY HAVE PROVEN MULTIPLE TIMES THAT THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT, they also make her own accomplishments look more like she was in it for the glory rather than genuine altruism, like when she guided Team Avatar (I'm sorry, The GAang) out of the desert, they ramble on and on about how much of a badass she is leading "her stoned brother, a blind girl, and the messiah out of the desert", so are you basically saying that her own friends don't matter to her at all?! You all sicken me, she was doing it for altruism, not for attention you dummies. They also make her look like a huge Mary sue (Which is why I called them Mary Sue fans in my Zuko is Overrated Rant), they make her look like the overpowered one with no flaws, they constantly say that she stopped the entire rain, when she only stopped some of it, it would be ridiculous for her to stop all of it, they also act like she's always in the right, I saw a blog another day saying that she owns all of her anger and that she says let women be angry all the time, while I do kind of get what that blog was trying to convey, I personally disagree, while it is okay for women to be angry, it isn't okay for them to be angry all the time, what if someone misinterprets this and acts all bratty all the time, Katara only did that when she was rightfully angry, these moments (like I said before) are heating-up periods, not milestones. But wait a minute, A mean popular girl that does various things for her own selfish needs, who treats her own friends and brother like crap?! THAT'S AZULA!!!!! You are all turning your own character into Azula, there is no denying it, they all want Katara to be like Azula, (only minus the charm). Can we please stop making Katara look like just the strong, independent, mean female for once? Katara has proven time to time that she can mess up and can be klutzy, she in general is a real sweetheart, she is not some mean, misandristic jerk that doesn't know how to have fun, she does want to have fun, she does want to be young again, so please stop this, and although you're all annoying, you're at least marginally more tolerable than Zuko stans, (The key word being: Marginally).

Zuko Is OVERRATED

I'll admit, I used to like him a lot, but he was never really favorite character of the series, no, that award goes to Aang, he has a very charismatic personality, he is very altruistic, and honestly has a much better arc than Zuko, but as I dived into the fandom a lot more, I realized something, Zuko has gotta have the most toxic, immature, idiotic fanbase in the world, it's even worse than Katara's misandrist Mary Sue fans, and that's saying a lot! It's because of his insane popularity that makes me question why does everything in the fandom have to be about him nowadays, his popularity should have faded away over a decade ago, but for some reason, his fans keep popping up and keep ranting about his arc being "one of the best in all media", but what does Aang get? Nothing but slander about his flaws, despite the fact that flaws are what makes a person and/or character: human, Aang constantly is treated like some sort of dumb idiot, just because "DuRr He SmilEs AlOt", When he's honestly the more realistic character out of the two, while Aang may smile a lot, that doesn't mean he smiles all the time, he also feels other emotions, like sadness, fear, empathy, and even anger, which baffles me as to why many people interpret Aang as smiling like an idiot all the time, but Zuko on the other hand frowns most of the time and spends his time whining, when he hasn't gone through anything that Team Avatar or the Gaang have experienced, and that's not very relatable, and while I do see how some people can relate to Zuko, WHY DOES EVERYONE RELATE TO HIM!?!?!? I haven't met anyone that has gone a day without smiling, but Zuko just seems to frown all the time. And the elephant in the room: his character arc. His arc could be somewhat interesting, though a bit too melodramatic, but because he frowns most of the time (as mentioned above), his development feels non-existent, because even after he got what he wanted this whole time, he's still the same melodramatic, obnoxious, pretentious, whiny emo he was in the series "DuRr BuT gEnE lUeN yAnG rUiNeD eVeRyThInG iN tHe CoMiCs, AnD bRyKe StOpPeD cArInG aFtEr ThE fIrSt AvAtAr". WHEN HE WAS LIKE THIS THE WHOLE DAMN TIME!!! And although I never watched legend of Korra, I bet you a million bucks he's still whining about his past like a huge crybaby, (and I do like the Gene Luen Yang Comics, but can people please stop saying it ruined the franchise, sure the writing wasn't as strong as the series' but I didn't mind it because I never put the original series on a pedestal like most people and found them to have an excellent art style, decent writing, the humor is pretty neat, and the characters are still as lovable, I consider them a serviceable sequel to the series and they aren't as bad as people say they are) but can people stop making a series called "AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER" all about this emo please stop, it's annoying.

Aang was a abusive partner? Aang was abusive. Zuko (isn't and never will be in a romantic relationship with Katara) is like such a bitch here.

Katara is terrified. She is fucking scared. These kids are at war. The past few times katara met this guy he invited her home, kidnapped her best friend, burnt down her other friends village probably hurting alot of people and warriors and a thousand of other stuff. She is scared for her life. The chances of her dying here are ENORMOUS.

Look at her expression. Open your eyes. Why do so many zutarians worship this scene??? Katara is litherally scared for her life. Horrified.

He is hurting her. His soldiers are more important to him than his friend. She is genuinely in pain and resists the urge to hurt him back. See pannel. And he doesn't give a damn shit. He could straight up break her wrists. Look at how fucking big and ugly he is. I don't know how people can ship that. And even if he weren't that stupid and egoistic rn he still has litherally no reason to hurt Katara. The soldiers are down she has noone to fight.
