I’m not really a big fan of MXTX novels or danmei in general, so I’m a little shocked by how much I enjoyed reading MDZS..

I’ve only read SVSSS like two-ish years ago and liked the first book, but I wasn’t that big of a fan as it continued. I didn’t like the main couple to be honest, I think they would’ve been stronger as a familial pairing rather than a romantic one.. though I really did enjoy the humor at some parts.

MDZS has its faults and all, but what I really like was the history between WWX and LWJ.. like there’s so much to think about… idk how LWJ kept himself together when he found out WWX came back, because me personally I would’ve been in such a state of emotional turmoil and distress (misery and joy simultaneously)
