One thing that annoys me about the writers of HotD calling Rhaenyra a punk rock feminist is that her feminism starts with seeing the horrid life her mother is forced to live as a royal baby maker and she ends with ‘you’d let me do it if I was a boy’.
This makes sense for her character as she sees what basically the worst outcome for a woman in Westeros in her mother Aemma. It makes sense that she doesn’t want that and is upset that she being forced to this life because she’s a girl. That makes sense for a teen to young adult to come to. She basically lives by the line ‘if a it’s okay for a guy to do it then it’s okay for me’.
What doesn’t makes sense is for adult Rhaenyra to still have that mindset and not to have expanded on it. Her world view is very self focused and she doesn’t look outwards at the women around her to apply her logic to. Furthermore, she’s gone from ‘if a guy can do it so can I’ to ‘I’m heir so I can do it’ which leads to the strong boys, usurping the driftwood throne, exiling Laenor, secretly marrying daemon.
But she never looks at the women around her and think maybe they should get to do the things men are allowed to do. It really feels like Rhaenyra sees herself and her kids as the exception to the rules and limitations of society.
If the writers really wanted to go with punk rock feminist Rhaenyra, I would of had Rhaenyra put forward duel ruler ship with Luke and Baela. She could say something about transitioning atleast the crown land succession to one of absolute primogeniture instead of male only. Or even a moment of understanding she has for Alicent seeing the precarious situation she’s been put in. Instead, we have Rhaenyra saying ‘you’ve been a good broodmare and nurse to my dad’.
Rhaenyra recognizes the injustices of her society but only so far as it affects her. She doesn’t give any understanding to the women around her. Furthermore, she expects Alicent, Baela, and Rhaena to be happy in a life that she knows her own mother suffered in.
In season 1, there is no feminist character. No character that fights for the rights of all women. Rhaenyra fights for her own rights, Alicent demands the rights society promised her son, and Rhaenys criticizes them both for demanding anything.

Snape is a Model AU
-He was pick-pocketing at Diagon Alley like always.
-But one day he got caught by a very fancy looking wizard.
-He tried to run away but he wasn't strong enough.
-The man wanted to bring him to Aurors but changes his mind when he saw the boy better.
-He invited Severus to drink tea to talk and Severus reluctantly agreed. (Better to have an adult scolding you than going to the police)
-The wizard is a photographer working for the Witch Weekly and wants to work with him.
-He really likes Snape's pitch black eyes and long hair. With a little bit of help he could be really popular.
-Severus thinks the man is mocking him at first.
-The Photographer tries to explain himself better an gives him his cart.
-Appearenly, even in the Wizarding world models earn a lot of money.
-They part ways.
-After a few weeks, Severus finds the guy because he needs money.
-He is still very reluctant but tries to convince himself.
-They are very happy to see him and because he is clearly stressed they tool photo only like this at first (no face).
- He got good amount of money and got to wear amazing clothes.
-The magazine got very popular after this and especially witches wanted to see this myaterious model's face.
-Severus heard the gossip in Hogwarts and felt very weird about it.
-Witch Weekly tried to convince him to show his face but he refused.
-The photographer went to him and gave him a make over to try to show him that he is very nice looking.
-There were a lot of letters that was send.
-Finally Sev accepts it. (They give him even more money)
-Everyone is shocked to see that Snape is the mysterious model.
-Snape does'nt care if he gets mocked at this point because the money he earns will help to make something better of himself.
- He saves money for a house and a Potions Mastery Education Program somewhere outside in England. The rest goes to school suplies and to his mother.
-He keeps modeling and has a great relationship with the photographer.

I'd love a case of jake finding out about noccorro accidental mates qnd having to choose between keeping neteyam and Spider secret and telling neytiri. In the context of post canon (neteyam lives) where if spider is allowed to stay with the metkyina it is on extremely thin ice, neteyam knows that neytiri would create a scene that would put spider, and potentially neteyam in danger.
Just want a scene that's like:
'neteyam, you can't expect me to start keeping secrets from my mate'
'fine. But we won't be here to see the fall out then'
'we?!??'
+ the inevitable realisation that if neteyam and Spider left then kiri and Lo'ak would try to leave too. Jake has to choose between telling his wife and risking their relationship and trust vs breaking up the family IT'S SO DELICIOJSSS
OOH this one is juicy. You bet your ass Tuk is insisting on joining them too.
Part of me kind of wants to see them go through with it. Like, Jake knows keeping it from Neytiri is not a viable solution. It's not good for his relationship with her, but it's also not good for Neteyam and Spider. Hiding their bond and being separate from their mate all the time, not touching them or taking comfort in them is painful, almost physically sometimes. He knows this has to end. So he tells Neteyam to give him a chance to talk to Neytiri. He'll take her out flying on their ikran away from the clan and make sure there's no scene. He promises to keep Spider safe, and through him Neteyam will be too.
Neteyam agrees because he wants so so badly what his father is offering. Acceptance, and finally the freedom to be with his mate. But they have to wait until that night for Jake and Neytiri to have a free moment to go out, and the longer he waits the more scared he gets. By the time they leave he is freaking out. What if he's just putting Spider in danger? He's just been through so much with the RDA.
He confides in Kiri and Lo'ak for the first time, just because he knows they care about Spider as much as he does and he needs their opinions desperately. Unfortunately, Kiri had not shared what Neytiri had done on the ship to Spider yet, something which Spider had been very tight lipped about.
That's all he needed to hear, and by the time Jake and Neytiri get back all the kids are gone. Quaritch is dead, they were safe, but now all the kids have gone. If Jake hadn't been able to impress the gravity of the situation on Neytiri before, she gets it now.
So now it's all of the kids on a Payakan/ikran combo road trip back to the Omaticaya where they have nothing but time to talk about everything; they literally have to work through all their problems and trauma. Picture Stand By Me but on a giant whale.
Same with Jake and Neytiri, who are following but unsure what route the kids took and where they are going and they don't know they are traveling with Payakan as well, so they are also forced to talk in all this time spent flying. They have to work through what they need to fix and what caused all these problems, and how to keep their hurt and trauma from affecting the kids even more.
Probably not what you were envisioning, but I'm obsessed with stories where travel forces proximity and communication and I loveeee the idea of it on Payakan like he's all the kids therapist.
