ITS NOT THE ENDDDDD 😭😭😭😭😭
yard work - chapter 12 (regina george x reader)
fandom: Mean Girls (all media)
pairing: Regina George x OFC/Reader
summary: You'd been in the same class as Regina George since kindergarten. You'd lived on the same street even longer. Once upon a time, when life was sandbox disputes and who got the swing first arguments, you'd even been friends. Now, in junior year of high school, you doubted she even remembered you. The same couldn't be said about you. You definitely remembered her. warning(s): a homophobic character saying some homophobic shit. listen, it's set in 2004 it was inevitable.

"So..." Gretchen drawled from the passenger seat. "You're still not doing the dance with us?"
Regina glanced at her. "No."
"Cady's taking the lead." The brunette said, very badly acting as if she wasn't looking for a reaction. Regina resisted the urge to bite back, to defend her honour, and kept her eyes on the road.
"Great." She said, voice tart. "She's doing the stunt, is she?"
"Yup." Gretchen's breath hitched. "She's, uh, got it nailed down."
A mean smirk spread her lips. "Oh, really? I'm looking forward to it."
Gretchen swallowed. Regina spied from the rearview mirror Karen was watching the scenery pass by dreamily.
"What's up, Karen?" Regina asked.
"The sky!" Karen stated proudly. "And birds, I suppose. Hold on..." She felt up her boobs, pulling at her nipple obscenely. "Ouch. Yeah, it's gonna start snowing soon."
Regina, knowing the forecast had promised much the same thing, hummed. "Gonna have to stay in, then."
Gretchen shifted her weight on the passenger seat. She seemed uneasy. Both she and Karen had been severely late to arrive at her car today and had seemed... Dodgy. Regina could hardly blame her, though. Things had gotten weird recently.
She wasn't being nice. Not exactly. She'd just, kind of, dialled it back a little. A year ago she'd have spent the days leading up to Christmas break making the rounds, spreading nasty rumours about this and that, ensuring everybody's holidays were ruined just the right amount. This time, she'd forgone that.
A part of it, a large majority, was due to the Thanksgiving fiasco with Jorts. Another, smaller part, was because she was tired. She just didn't want to.
Arriving at her house, Regina parked and stepped out of her car. Gretchen and Karen followed her inside where mom greeted them with mugs of hot chocolate. Fancy chocolate and skim milk. Regina pointedly left her mug on the tray.
As she was going up the stairs, she noticed neither Gretchen nor Karen had grabbed a mug.
"Take them." She gestured vaguely back to her mom. "Don't be wasteful, girls."
Making her way up leisurely, she relished in the sound of the two girls scrambling to grab their mugs and then follow her as fast as possible. She might've loosened her hold on the student body, but Gretchen and Karen she'd keep. She didn't care if it was immoral or something, she'd done a lot of work to get them where they were.
"Shane Oman's doing a Christmas party this Friday," Gretchen informed them as they settled around Regina's room. "There's talk he's specifically invited Doris Harris."
"Who the fuck names their kid Doris Harris?" Regina scoffed and inspected her nails. She'd have to get a new set soon. "Are you going?"
"What? You- you're not?" Gretchen sputtered.
"I have... Plans." Important, top-secret plans. "Shane Oman is a sleazebag and a womanizer. Doris can have him." She said airily and looked at the two girls sitting on her floor.
"What plans do you have?" Gretchen probed. Karen looked on, seeming to be in her own world. Little specks of snow were beginning to fall outside.
"Private." She left it at that. "Who are you bringing to the party?"
"Probably Jason." Gretchen sighed. Regina's face twisted.
"You're still with that douche?" She sat down cross-legged near the two. "Why?"
"Oh, do you think I should break up with him?" Gretchen looked between her and Karen, seeming lost. "I can do that."
Regina rolled her eyes. Okay, maybe she'd put a little too much work in these two. They were old enough to think for themselves.
"Look, Gretchen..." She closed her eyes. "I'm not gonna say sorry. I'm, uh, just not going to." She didn't tack on the yet that meant to crawl up her throat. Too much too fast. "However, it's becoming apparent that my usual methods are no longer as effective. Exhibit A, Cady Heron."
Gretchen stared at her. Then, her head tilted to the side like that of an inquisitive dog. Karen was gaping at her, having probably not comprehended a single word. Regina sighed.
"Look, I'm not gonna just waste my time and energy putting people down anymore!" She was feeling way too defensive and the others hadn't even said anything. "I might, like, join a sports team or something for senior year. Focus on myself."
"Wow." Gretchen breathed out. "So, you're just gonna step down?"
"I'm still Regina fucking George. I'm not gonna stop being me." That being a vicious bitch with a lot of hate in her heart. "I'm just saying that it's getting old."
"Why? You- you can't just stop. That makes no sense. Someone's gonna take you over, like- like Doris Harris!" Gretchen took several short breaths, this close to hyperventilating. "Doris Harris is going to be the new Regina George!"
She rolled her eyes so hard her entire head rolled with them. "That statement contradicts itself. If she's the new Regina George, I'm still on top. The original."
"You sound so alike." Karen smiled. "You two are so cute. True love."
"Karen!" Gretchen snapped, sounding like a chihuahua. "Shush!"
"Who sounds alike?" Intrigued, Regina leaned forward. "Me and who? True love?"
"Oh, uh..." Karen looked to Gretchen, who was trying (and failing) to subtly shake her head, and then to Regina whose eyes bored into hers. "Uhhhhhhh..."
"She's rebooting." Regina huffed, leaning back. "Gretch, I just... I don't care anymore."
It had been a startling realization. Not a quick one despite the one eureka moment that'd brought it all together. There were things more important to her than maintaining a hierarchy in high school. It still was important, to a degree, but well. If she had to pick between one-upping some random girl at a shitty party and date night with Jorts, the choice was entirely too obvious. It was going to be date night every time.
(If she even had that privilege anymore. She's called her slurs, for fuck's sake. She could only hope her apology would be good enough.)
"How can you not care?" Gretchen screeched. Karen sipped at her hot cocoa nervously.
"I just don't." Something like this, not caring about something, wasn't a decision she could consciously make. At least, not entirely. Once you stopped caring, you just did. That was that.
It wasn't easy, though. She didn't have the strength of will to be deliberately mean to everyone, every single day, but she would not tolerate people stepping on her toes. If somebody encroached, she wouldn't hesitate to bring them down. Where the line went, distinguishing between a serious threat and a general nuisance, was the hard part.
Letting go of the instinct to just be mean was a challenging hurdle.
"She's changed you. All this time, you've been talking to her, haven't you? J, Jorts, whoever she is. She's corrupted you." Gretchen sneered. "What happened, Regina? Or should I say, Reggie?"
Regina looked at her friend, minion, accomplice- whatever.
"Excuse me?" She said, so quietly it could've been mistaken for a whisper.
"You heard me." Gretchen's sneer dissolved, old instinct to cower kicking in. "Reggie." She hissed, a feeble attempt at keeping her power.
"What the fuck do you know about J?" Regina could feel herself grow cold, anger mixing with panic, mixing with visceral, palpable terror.
Of course, all that manifested as blind fury.
"We know plenty about J. You've never shut up about her. Y'know, I used to think she was an ex-boyfriend of yours 'cause of the way you talked about her. And now, it all makes sense." Gretchen spread her arms provocatively. "Because she's gotten into your head, used her sticky, lesbo fingers to mix you up. Snap out of it, Regina. This is not who you are."
Anger roiling in her stomach, she was about to release pure acid onto the dimwitted, insensitive, stupid girl, when Karen spoke up.
"Gretchen, you're being stupid." She said so lightly. Both of them turned to look at Karen. She was watching the window, looking immensely pleased with herself. Yet another correct weather report.
"What?" Gretchen breathed out.
"Stupid. That's stupid. I didn't know you were, like, homophobic." Seeming to focus, Karen turned to face Gretchen. "I think I told you my brother's gay."
"Oh." Gretchen deflated. Regina didn't know what she should do. "Well, that's different, he's a guy! Lesbians are totally different."
"How?" Karen, more engaged than Regina had witnessed her be in a long time, kept her eerily wide eyes trained on Gretchen. "How is it any different?"
"Listen, everybody can do what they want with... Whoever, like, consents, but it's different when they shove their beliefs in people's faces." Regina, quite astounded, didn't know what to say. Karen did, though.
"J didn't shove anything in our faces. I don't think she shoved anything in Regina's face." She put her finger to her chin. "Unless they're into that sort of thing."
"Karen..." Regina sighed.
"Anyway, I think your opinions about gay people are weird, Gretchen. You should look into that."
"My opinions are just fine!" Gretchen's shoulders rose all the way up to her ears. "You guys are the weird ones! It's not like I hate gay people! There's just, y'know, healthy concern. If it was so easy to turn Regina then what can they do to impressionable little kids?" Gretchen licked her lips nervously. "What about Kylie?" She asked, looking to Regina for sympathy or agreement or something.
By that point, Regina had checked out.
"I don't think Regina's changed. Not really." Karen's owl eyes turned to her. "She's just... Shedding. Like a snake. Getting a new skin." She dragged her eyes up and down. "Yeah. New, shiny scales. Like a blonde, human green tree python. My dad has one. A snake one."
"Thanks," Regina said, tone flat. She then turned to Gretchen. "Get out."
Her hands trembled. Rage or fear, she couldn't tell where the tremor stemmed from.
"Regina, this isn't right-"
Just the sound of her voice made her blood boil. Her eyes stung too, but she refused to feel anything but anger.
"What isn't right is that you're still in my house. J is my childhood friend and the assumptions you've made about her are life-threatening. People are killed because they're gay, Gretchen. She hasn't turned me into anything, much less something you're insinuating." The claim that Jorts had turned her into a lesbian was false. If there were to be a claim about Regina's sexuality alone, then the answer wouldn't be so clear. "Get your fucking act together. I'm too good to bother with high school politics. We're going to college in two years. Stop being so small-minded and do something with your life for once."
She heaved in lungfuls of air. She stood up abruptly, walked to the door and pointed down the hallway.
"I-" Gretchen tried to say something, but Regina just reiterated her point.
"Out!"
She didn't particularly care that her friend (ex-friend) didn't have a ride home. She didn't care that she was a bigot, that Gretchen was right about her and Karen being the weird ones. She didn't care that Jorts had definitely changed her in some way.
As soon as the brunette had scuttled down the stairs, the front door slamming on her way out, Regina slumped against her door. She didn't care. She did not care.
"So, is it just us, now?" Karen asked from her spot on the floor. Regina was pretty sure she hadn't moved an inch since she plopped down. "Is J gonna be our new friend?"
"I don't know, Karen." She buried her face in her hands. Fuck. She wasn't supposed to care. "I didn't know Gretchen was like that."
"Hmm." Karen hummed. "I didn't know you weren't like that."
Her head snapped up, looking at Karen. Her expression was unreadable, like a book with blank pages.
"I... I'm scared, Karen."
"Yeah. My brother's boyfriend is from Alabama and he's been beat up before 'cause he looks gay. And he is gay, but the earring gave it away, I think. And my uncle died of AIDS and my family don't really talk about him and we weren't allowed to see him. My aunt that's in New York's been living with her best friend of, like, thirty years for forever and I went to visit one time and they had only one bedroom."
That was perhaps the longest, most coherent sentence Karen had ever said. Too bad the subject was so grim.
"Wow, Karen. Sounds like your family's full of..." What could she call them? Her mind defaulted to nasty slurs. "People like that."
"I guess." She smiled faintly. "I hear them crying sometimes, in my brother's room, when they're home for the holidays. Mama says I shouldn't go up and snuggle them until they feel better. They're having a moment." Karen looked confused at that. "Are we having a moment?"
Regina slowly unfurled from her slump against the door. "Maybe."
"Oh. Okay." She accepted easily. The familiarity of the scenario had a smile creeping back to Regina. "My brother smiles the biggest when me and his boyfriend team up against him at board games. My mom cries when we visit my uncle's grave. She tells us stories about him and shows us pictures. My aunt has three cats with her bestie and they call them their children and they wear matching rings."
"That's really sweet, Karen." Regina, now smiling in earnest, shuffled closer.
"I don't really get it." She said in the same light tone she'd use when talking about schoolwork. "Like, my brother's boyfriend is really nice so I don't get why people beat him up for dating my brother. And I think it was really mean that my grandma didn't let mama see her brother when he was sick. And my aunt and her best friend already live together, have cat-kids, and kiss on the mouth, so why can't they get married for real?"
Regina stared ahead, more than a little floored. Gretchen, simultaneously surprisingly and unsurprisingly, was a homophobe. Regina knew the political climate and knew that being openly gay was social suicide, and sometimes literal suicide, but she hadn't expected someone so close to her to be like that. They hadn't talked about it much, to be fair. Besides, Regina wasn't much better. While she might've not been a real homophobe, as in actually subscribed to the ideology, she'd done plenty of homophobic acts.
Whether or not in the name of projection or denial didn't really matter. Janis 'Imi'ike had been the first girl she'd subjected to hate crimes and discrimination, but not the last. How many times had she shoved other girls under the bus so she could get off scot-free? How many times had she done it for a twisted sense of fun?
Too many, was the easy answer. Not enough, whispered the scared, hidden thing in the back rooms of her mind.
And Karen was an ally. A supporter of the cause. And unexpectedly well-spoken when she had something she liked to talk about.
"Karen, I like girls."
"Me too!"
Regina's heart beat like a drum. She was beginning to sweat.
"No- I mean, like, I'm... A lesbian. I guess."
"Okay!"
She snuck a glance at the other girl. She was peering mournfully into her empty mug.
"Like your aunt and her best friend." She took a deep breath. "I like girls in that way."
"Uhh, duh," Karen smiled at her, beamed, really. "J is your true love."
"I wouldn't go that far." Regina sighed but had to purse her lips to keep from smiling. At the same time, a knot tightened in her chest, like hiccups trying to escape. She threw her head back and puffed out a breath, blinking rapidly.
"Let's go get more hot chocolate and I'll tell you about my talent show performance." She wiped discreetly at her eyes and extended a hand to Karen.
"Hot cocoa!" The girl exclaimed as she pulled herself up with Regina's help. "Ouuuhh, what kinda performance?"
"A song." Regina guided them down the hallway. "For her."
Obviously, she had more than just a song planned. A proper apology, for one, was in the works. Karen didn't need to know about that, though. That was between her and J.
Notes: Boo I lied it's not the last one. I thought it would be! I was wrong! I did start rambling like I kind of predicted in the notes of the last chapter. Or, like, I felt the ending would be a little too abrupt without some downtime. So have some Regina POV!
Will no longer be making predictions about when the end is. I'll only be contradicting myself lol. But like, the arc is coming to a close, a natural end is coming. And then the epilogue things.
Praying to god the taglist will work. Trying a new method today, fingers crossed! Hand-typing every single fucking name, no commas in between names, the utmost technicalities. This is the night fellas, the night we've been waiting for.
Edit: it didn't work. in fact, it worked worse than the other times! fuck! put another version of the list, back with commas, and it seems to tag some people but not all. gonna have to do some scouring on the internets.

"As Sweet as Cherry Wine."
Lady Dimitrescu/OC
You chuckled, giving her breasts a hard squeeze before moving your touch back to her neck and shoulders, but the damage had already been done considering the way the vampire’s eyes darkened with lust, her hand dropping the pen at the sudden spike of pleasure that ran through her body.
“Allow me.”
With a smirk, you bent down to pick it up, but instead of rising up like she expected you to, you moved under her desk, your hand stroking over her knee and thigh as you did and making her let out a soft gasp.
“What are you-”
“Do keep working, dear.” you interrupted her, your smirk positively sinful as you now knelt between her legs under the desk, “You are quite busy after all, aren’t you?”
Alcina’s eyes narrowed down at you as she sat still, her teeth clenching slightly before she let out a deep breath to calm herself down. Snatching her pen from your hand, she ignored your chuckle and went back to writing, the grip on the small object obviously tighter now...
You let out a bored sigh, your eyes looking up at the ceiling in Alcina’s study, the lady vampire’s eyes raising briefly from the documents on her desk at the sound before she lowered them again with a small grin.
“Please, do keep the joy to a minimum, draga.”
“Apologies. I will try harder.”
You responded in a deadpan tone, your arms crossing over your chest as you slumped back in the sofa across from her desk. The Matriarch let out a soft chuckle, rolling her golden eyes before she signed off the letter she was writing, setting it to the side and grabbing another envelope. The two of you had been there since that morning, Alcina busy sorting through her correspondence while you kept her company, but after the fourth hour spent in the room, you were starting to feel restless.
“You know those papers won’t suddenly grow legs, right?” you piped up again, glancing at her, “You’ll find them right there even later.”
“Now, why should I postpone a tedious task when I can get it done right away?”
“Because we’ve been coped up in here for hours. I’m pretty sure my back has merged with these cushions.”
“You can always go, darling. I’ll join you later.”
You let out a loud groan, the scene making Alcina bite her lower lip to keep herself from laughing. You were so grumpy whenever she took too long to work, which she found utterly endearing. Most of the time.
With a shake of her head, she grabbed her pen and started writing another letter, her eyes going back and forth across the stacks of papers on her desk. She still needed to flesh out the last preparations with your father, then start informing Mother Miranda about the new developments, then-
“You know,” your interruption made her let out a small sigh under her breath, her eyes closing briefly, “I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that too much work can actually kill you. I’m confident we’ll have a definite answer by the end of today…”
Alcina looked up at you with a raised eyebrow, a small huff leaving her lips before she went back to work.
“If you’re so bored, why don’t you see if the girls are free? I’m sure they’d love to keep you entertained.”
You scoffed, rolling your amber eyes in annoyance.
“And deprive them of their torturing session in the dungeons? Perish the thought.”
Last time you had attempted to approach any of them on such an occasion, it had almost ended with you getting three sickles launched at your head. If there was one thing the daughters were during those sessions, it was “territorial” and “maniacal” and you were in no rush to experience that again. You blamed Alcina for their lack of understanding of the general concept of sharing a meal, but you knew a lost battle when you saw one, and so opted to just stay away and wait to approach the three once they were done feeding.
Your words made the vampire across from you hum softly, the smirk on her lips showing one of her sharp canines.
“Then I’m afraid you’ll have to wait a bit longer, draga.”
You flopped back on the sofa with a loud huff, bouncing your leg in exasperation at her workaholic tendencies. You stayed there for a few moments longer until you perked up suddenly, a subtle grin making its way on your lips before you smothered it. Slowly, you stood up from the sofa with a stretch and walked towards Alcina, rounding her desk so you could pretend to stare outside of the window behind her chair.
The Matriarch followed your movements from the corner of her eye, knowing full well that you were up to something, but she went back to her letters right after, the pen she was holding flowing over the paper under her as she answered her tenants’ requests.
Letting out a soft hum, you turned around and placed your hands on her shoulders, the sudden touch making the vampire stiffen for but a moment before you started to massage her soft skin, a low mutter escaping her lips.
Still, she didn’t stop with her work, not that you had any doubts. She was a stubborn woman, but you knew she’d give in with the right persuasion…
Your touch eventually became bolder, your hands rubbing the back of her neck and shoulders before you moved them lower and towards her front, your fingers playing with the strings holding her dress together while also massaging her collarbones and over her chest.
Alcina let out a soft sigh under her breath, her body relaxing under your touch until you started groping her from over her corset, her eyes narrowing at you from over her shoulder.
“Draga…”
“Yes?”
“Behave yourself.”
Snatching her pen from your hand, she ignored your chuckle and went back to writing, the grip on the small object obviously tighter now.
With a soft hum, you started trailing your hands over her legs, from her calves up to her knees and then down again, but it wasn’t long before you took things further, your fingers pushing the hem of her dress up to uncover her creamy thighs. You felt the Countess go rigid, but the way she subtly spread her legs for you let you know that she wasn’t opposed to your ministrations. At all.
You took in a deep sniff, a soft groan leaving your lips and making Alcina bite hers as you  leaned forward, your fingers gripping her soft skin sensually while her scent filled your nostrils. She was already getting excited just by your touch alone, and that made you almost let out a deep growl before you calmed yourself down.
Patience…
Slowly, painfully so, you reached out and hooked your thumbs in her panties before pulling them down her legs, Alcina’s hips rising slightly off the chair to help you before she not-so subtly spread her legs more.
Her sweet aroma hit you with full force, and the sight of her pussy already dripping with juices made your mouth water. It took all of your willpower not just to rush forward and take her in your mouth, your fingers tightening on her thighs as you could already taste-
The sudden knocking on the door made Alcina freeze, a sharp hiss leaving her as her hand quickly went to one of yours still resting on her legs. Clearing her throat, she spoke up, her back straightening in her chair.
“Enter.”
You heard the door open and the timid steps of what you assumed was one of her maids come forward, soon followed by a much surer gait that seemed to belong to the head-maid instead.
“Yes?”
Alcina’s tone was cold when she spoke, and you could hear the beating heart of the younger maid speed up in fear. You would have snorted if that hadn’t given away your position, speaking of which…
You still had a job to do.
“My lady, I have the new reports from the village…”
You ignored Petra as she spoke, your eyes fixed on the treasure in front of you, and just as Alcina was about to respond, you quickly leaned forward and dragged your tongue up her inner thigh, reaching her throbbing pussy.
Alcina choked around a breath as she felt your tongue on her, her hand shooting out to your hair and trying to pull you back, but you were like a bloodhound on a hunt, refusing to let go of her and resisting her pull. You kept your movements slow, taking your time to savour her taste as your tongue lapped her up, swirling around her clit from time to time and making her shiver.
Clearing her throat to hide her growing arousal, Alcina leaned forward and placed her elbow on her desk, listening to her head-maid as she went on about the villages while her jaw clenched in her palm.
She was going to make you pay for this. Dearly.
But for now, her hand remained in your hair, her grip tightening any time your tongue focused on her clit before dropping lower and to her entrance, swirling its tip in and out in a maddening dance.
Her touch made you bite back a grunt of pleasure, and as she kept on talking to her maid like nothing was wrong, you decided to step up your game. Tapping her thighs, you silently ordered her to make room for you, and watched in sick satisfaction as she subtly moved on her chair to do just that. You left a small nip on her left inner thigh for her trouble, the stiffening of the muscle under your lips making you smirk, and leaned forward once more, your fingers holding her lips spread open for you while your tongue became more insistent.
Alcina let out a trembling breath through her nose, her fingers pressing tightly against her lips as she bit her tongue hard, and kept her eyes fixed on the two maids in front of her, but she was barely listening as you went down on her.
“And what about the-” she cleared her throat as she felt your tongue circle her entrance, a shiver travelling down her body, “-about the harvest. How many are we expected to reap this month?”
“Forty-five, my lady…”
Petra’s voice trailed off as she saw the gradual shift in the Countess’s demeanour, her cheeks becoming flushed while beads of sweat started appearing on her forehead.
“My lady, are you feeling well?”
“I’m perfectly…fine…”
Petra nodded slowly, her eyes taking in Alcina’s ragged breaths as she seemed to stiffen in her chair. She only now noticed the way her nails were digging in her cheeks while her form hunched over her desk, and glanced at the younger maid who in the meantime had been busy tidying up the study but was now looking at the vampire too.
“Perhaps…I can come later? You look like you should take a break, my lady.”
Alcina glared at the woman and parted her lips to retort but whatever she was about to say was quickly interrupted by a choked groan, her hand covering her mouth as she felt your tongue push inside of her and thrust against her inner walls. The sudden noise pulled a frown on the two maids’ faces and a smirk on yours, your eyes rolling back as you felt the way her fingers gripped your hair, but if anything that just spurred you on, your movements becoming faster as you felt her juices start to drip down your chin.
Feeling herself getting closer, the Countess rubbed a hand over her face before she looked up at the two women, their eyes narrowed in perplexity as they kept on watching her, and spoke through gritted teeth.
“Leave everything and get out, both of you.”
The two mortals glanced at each other in surprise before the head-maid looked down at the letters in her hands and slowly stepped forward, leaving them on top of the others on Alcina’s desk. Bowing her head, Petra then turned around and quickly headed towards the door of the study, gesturing to the younger woman to do the same and fast. The girl didn’t need to be told twice, her hands picking up the rag she had been using to clean, and followed after her superior, closing the door behind herself.
The moment she heard the soft ‘click’ of the door closing, Alcina let out a loud growl, her feet moving the chair back so she could see you properly, and tightened her grip on your hair even more, pushing your face down as she grinded her cunt against your tongue.
“You’re…in so much…trouble…”
You groaned between her thighs, spreading her legs until she could rest one on your shoulder and the other on the armrest of her chair, the action pulling a loud moan from the vampire lady.
If anyone had walked in right now, they would have seen the Countess spread out in her chair with her consort eating her out voraciously, and the thought didn’t mind you one bit, your pussy clenching around nothing as you kept working her up.
Alcina’s hips humped your tongue wildly, her head tilted back and groans leaving her lips as you brought her closer and closer to the edge, but right as she was about to come, you pulled out of her, making her curse out loudly. Before she could think about striking you down where you knelt, you slammed three fingers inside her cunt, thrusting into her at a fast pace, and wrapped your lips around her clit, sucking and swirling your tongue over the sensitive nub.
With a loud scream, the vampire’s back arched beautifully, her breasts bouncing up and down with the quick way her chest rose and fell, and came all over your mouth and fingers, your own grunts of pleasure echoing in the study.
She held you close to her cunt for a few moments longer as you let her use your tongue and fingers ride out her high before pulling you back by your hair, the way you smirked up at her with her cum running down her lips making her bit back a moan.
Gods, you were a menace…and she absolutely loved it.
You slowly pulled your fingers out of her, sucking them clean as she let out a small sigh, and rubbed her thighs soothingly before lowering them, allowing her dress to cover her once more. With a low grunt, you rose to your feet, the panties you had taken off her wrapped in your hand, and reached down to grasp her chin so she would look up at you as you took her in.
Her flushed cheeks…
Her panting breaths…
The way her eyes had darkened with lust and seemed to shine in the afterglow…
She was simply ravishing.
“I’ll let you get back to work, draga.”
Her expression made you chuckle and with a wink you let go of her chin, walking away from her desk and towards the entrance of her study. Just like you were to open the door, you turned around once more, the way she was gripping the armrests of her chair and her golden eyes had turned predatory making a pleasant tingle run down your spine.
“See you later, hm?”
Before she could say anything, you were out of her study, leaving her alone at her desk. Alcina sat there, still reeling from the whole thing, and with a growl, she quickly rose from her chair and went – rushed – after you, her blood pumping in her veins.
Work be damned, she was going to make you scream for the rest of the day.
And you couldn’t wait.

• Cady discovered Hazbin Hotel and now makes everyone watch it with her
• Janis is an English nerd
• Regina is a History and Literature nerd
• Regina already knew how to play lacrosse when she was younger, she just stopped because her dad said "ladies shouldn't play sports"
• Safe to say that she has daddy issues
• Karen can do a perfect backflip and land on her toes
• Damian squealed so fucking loud when he learned that no one in their group is straight
• Janis's phrase "that is tits" rubbed off Gretchen and now she actually uses that
• "This is the most poorly written essay I've ever fucking seen" "Just help me Janis"
• Someone in their school made fun of Kylie George but it turns out Regina and the rest of the group was behind him
• The whole group just said "oh no" as Regina decks this boy in the face with her lacrosse stick
• Damian always always says "Move I'm gay" in a crowd
• Janis and Damian are FNAF enjoyers
• They all dressed up as Ride The Cyclone characters for Halloween
• Damian was Jane Doe
• Cady secretly enjoys dark romances
• Gretchen is a walking first aid kit
• When Karen gets mad, she just doesn't speak and smiles
• When that happens everyone knows they fucked up
• Aaron's love language is physical affection, he will wrap them in a bear hug in the middle of the hall
• Janis loves gummy worms. I will die on this hill

im gonna cry like a bitch when this ends
yard work - chapter 11 (regina george x reader)
fandom: Mean Girls (all media)
pairing: Regina George x OFC/Reader
summary: You'd been in the same class as Regina George since kindergarten. You'd lived on the same street even longer. Once upon a time, when life was sandbox disputes and who got the swing first arguments, you'd even been friends. Now, in junior year of high school, you doubted she even remembered you. The same couldn't be said about you. You definitely remembered her.
chapter 1 / chapter 2 / chapter 3 / chapter 4 / chapter 5 / chapter 6 / chapter 7 / chapter 8 / chapter 9 / chapter 10
Tumblr media
Making the scrapbook was cathartic. Remembering the good times, the innocence of your childhood, was as much of a joy as it was painful. The pictures were all quite good quality since Abuela had had a film camera. Some photos had been taken with a digital camera, which had probably originally belonged to the Georges and ended up in your possession somewhere along the way.
Regina and yourself playing in the Georges' backyard and swimming in their pool, beaming smiles directed at the camera. You could almost hear the laughter. I miss when we used to be able to just have fun together like this. I guess it's a part of growing up.
Regina in a white frilly dress, carrying a small basket of flower petals, donning a crown of roses on her head. She was pouting, clearly unimpressed by the whole thing. You hadn't been at the wedding since it was a George event, but Regina's mom had been so elated her daughter had gotten to be the flower girl. I remember I was so jealous you got to go to a wedding and I couldn't. You hated it, though, which was funny. You used to leave the room whenever your mom insisted we watch the tape. I wonder if she still has it.
You sitting with Regina, hip to hip, on plastic chairs while a newlyborn Kylie slept in your laps. Regina, eyes stuck on her baby sister and a thoughtful look on her face, while you looked at the camera with a smile. She's growing up so fast. Don't think I don't know you care about her. There's gonna be a time you'll regret not spending time with her. I already feel it.
Mrs George, Abuela, Regina, Kylie in her mom's arms, and you grouped together at a parking lot. You and Regina had on little graduation gowns and had scrolls in your hands. Elementary school graduation. The summer before middle school. End of an era. I love your mom's clothes, they're so nineties. Does she still have those jeans? You should get ahold of them before somebody else does...
Remember when I sliced my hand open when we were peeling apples? That was a time for sure. I still have the scar!
You taped pictures onto the pages, wrote little things here and there, hoping the labour of your love wouldn't end up in the garbage. Or if it did, Regina would read skim through it first.
I think this album was the first time we agreed on music. Britney Spears really brought us together, huh? We even learned the choreography of Baby One More Time. Mrs George loved it. I bet there's a video of that somewhere.
Mostly the scrapbook was filled with anecdotes about your childhoods together. You did write a letter of sorts on the first page, regarding your intentions with the whole thing.
I made this for you to commemorate the good times we had. You know me regrettably well, so I think you know how I tend to hold onto things. I still have that gaudy pink Build-A-Bear you made me for Valentine's Day that one time. It's one of my most important possessions, only second to the memories we have together. You'll always be a friend to me, Reggie. If not forever, or from now on, then back then. I love you. Yours, Jorts.
You'd pretty much finished the whole thing by the end of the weekend. You spent Monday and Tuesday decorating the front cover, mostly because you purposefully put it off. You cut out letters from magazines and glued them there, painstakingly forming the words Reggie & Jorts. You'd tried to come up with something clever, but making a pun or a dumb joke felt like cheapening the whole album. A simple name made up for with fabulous decorations!
You weren't much of a painter, but you figured it'd be fitting if the album reflected its contents. It was fine if the roses you painted looked like a five-year-old did them. A good majority of the pictures featured you and Regina huddled around a crafts table, similar projects scattered all around you, young with clumsy hands but filled with artistic passion.
The album in itself was an earthy green colour, something Regina undoubtedly found ugly. The flowers brightened it up somewhat, but there was only so much ages-old acrylic paints could do. You outlined some with Sharpies. If you didn't know better, one could assume it looked like that on purpose.
You took it with you to school on Wednesday. You had it weighing your backpack down the whole day. You sweated under all your layers, and by the end of it, you were sure you were sporting some epic pit stains. Gross, but you were so nervous. You hadn't broken into anyone's locker in so long. And it was Regina George's locker.
You loitered around the hallways as they emptied out steadily, people heading home or off to extracurriculars. As you approached Regina's locker, you swallowed down your nervousness and got to work.
It wasn't hard. The combination locks were all old and weak, more of a formality than an actual barrier between one's stuff and a burglar. The lock clicked open easily and you wasted no time in stuffing your album inside.
"Hey!" Just as the resounding click of the lock going back into place came, a voice called out to you. "What are you doing with Regina's locker?"
"Uhh..." Gretchen Wieners stood at the intersection of hallways, hands on her hips and accusatory eyes burning holes in you. You made the swift decision that you did not have time for this. You booked it.
"Hey! Get back here!" Gretchen, surprisingly considering her heels, started after you. "What did you put in it? You cannot prank Regina, or- or, oh, was it a bomb?"
"It's not a bomb!" You shouted over your shoulder, sprinting towards the exit. The aggressive clacking of Gretchen's heels on the floors as she ran after you would surely haunt your nightmares. How could she even keep up with you?
"If it's not a bomb then what!" How was she closing in on you? It seemed like she was not even fazed by your little race, meanwhile, you were already winded. The exit was not that far away, but it felt like miles.
"It's Regina's business now! Ask her tomorrow at school or something!" The doors to freedom approached. "Stop chasing me!"
"Stop running!"
"No!"
You burst out and quickly hopped down the stairs, two at a time. Gretchen was still on your tail, but once she got to the top of the stairs shouted: "Karen! Tackle her!"
You hadn't even noticed Karen fucking Shetty. There was no not noticing her when the girl sprinted at you with perfect athletic form and squashed you to the pavement like a linebacker.
You collided and flew onto the grass. Better than concrete but it still hurt like a bitch.
"Get off of me!" You tried to get out from under her, but Karen was surprisingly dense. She was small but it was as if there were stones in her body instead of organs. "Fuck!"
"Keep her there, Karen, very good."
"Thanks!" Karen beamed, which was a much more common expression on her than the bloodlust she'd shown earlier.
"This has nothing to do with you." You snarled, still wriggling. "This is between Regina and me."
"Whatever's between Regina is between us," Gretchen said, all hoity-toity. "Now, tell me exactly what you put in her locker."
"A fucking photo album." You hissed, closing your eyes and clenching your jaw. What lie could you come up with? "Our families used to know each other. It's mostly pictures of her, so I just thought to... Return it."
"Oh, that's so nice!" Karen's hold loosened and you went to escape.
"Nuh-uh, not good enough." Just like that, Karen's weight slammed back down onto you. Your breath wooshed out of your lungs.
"What more do you want?" You wheezed out, getting sick and tired of this.
"Why was it in your possession?"
"I don't fucking know! It just was!"
"Hmm. And why couldn't you just give it to her?"
"You think that would've gone well, Gretchen? Seriously?" You turned your head with great effort, staring up at the girl. "Please, just let me go."
"I don't think I believe you." Gretchen squatted next to your head. "We're going back and checking it's what you say it is. And then you might be free to go."
"Fuck you." You hissed but made no move to book it when Karen hauled you up.
"That's not very nice." Karen pointed out.
"I don't want to be nice to Gretchen right now." You had no real issue with Karen, even if she had just tackled you.
"Oh, okay." You couldn't see her when she was holding your wrists behind your back, but you could imagine she was bobbing her head up and down like she was known to do.
You were walked back into the building, going mostly without a fight. Gretchen strutted along proudly as if capturing you was some great victory. Regina had trained her well. You weren't sure if that was impressive or just sad.
"Open it." Gretchen gestured once you were back at Regina's locker.
"I need my hands to do that." You helped out, smiling at Gretchen like she was stupid. Sputtering and offended, she instructed Karen to let go.
Instead of running like you should've, taking the chance you could get out if Karen didn't get a one-up on you, you obediently cracked the code again. Was it selfish that you kind of wanted others to know about you and Regina? Was it totally horrible of you to want to know it was real and have proof of that? Well, if it was, there was no helping it.
Gretchen snatched the album from the locker before you could even think to touch it. Karen sidled up to her, peering over her shoulder as she opened it.
You stood by, waiting for their judgement and looking at the ceiling. There'd been a water leak right there, based on the discolouration. Gross.
"You... You're J. J is for Jorts." Gretchen said. She sounded weird, like hollow or something. "J is for Jorts." She said again, breathy and disbelieving.
"What?" What the fuck was going on?
Karen spoke then. "She talks about J a lot. Like, a lot a lot. A whole lot." You nodded slowly as Karen went on. "J's like, her true love. It's so cute."
"J is not her true love, Karen! They are both girls." Gretchen pointed out. You had to agree. "Are they?" She looked you up and down judgementally.
"Yes. I am a girl." You said. It was true, you were female and around the age that it was acceptable to be referred to as a girl. Even so, it made you distinctly uncomfortable.
"Hmm." Gretchen didn't seem to believe you. Karen was busy cooing at the pictures of small Regina. It was sheer luck they hadn't bothered to read your writings.
"Look, can I go now? I know I'm busted, you're probably gonna confiscate the album, and Regina will never see it. Happy?"
"No. Karen, please put it back in the locker." Gretchen said, not taking her eyes off of you. Karen did as asked with a pout. "What is your relationship with Regina?" The album was back in the locker, but it hadn't been locked again.
"Nothing." And that was true. There was nothing there anymore.
"That's a lie and you know it. If you're J, then you've known each other at least since middle school. Based on the pictures, even longer."
"Who is J?" You asked in exasperation.
"Somebody who she has protected for years now. Somebody who is always better than we could ever be." Gretchen pointed between herself and Karen. "J is important to her."
"Okay, well, good for J, I guess."
"You're so infuriating." Gretchen sighed, pinching the skin between her eyes.
"You aren't the first to tell me that."
"Of course, because Regina has said that to you. Because you've known each other forever. Because you're J."
"Listen, I may look a bit butch, but I have a perfectly ordinary girl name."
"That is not the point!" She spoke fast and high-pitched. "You. It's you. You've been under our noses this entire time! Do you realize how much easier things could've been if you were around?"
"Excuse me?" Now, you were really lost.
"You're excused," Karen said cheerfully. You nodded to her in thanks.
"We could never be as good as you. It was like we were placeholders for the ultimate pretty girl she'd somehow let slip. And it's you. In a flannel and hoodie, ratty jeans, dirty shoes, no fashion sense to speak of. It's you." She said that last part with contempt.
You were reeling. Regina had talked about you to these two. Had compared them to you, cited that you were better. For years she'd done that. She'd never forgotten about you.
"Look, Gretchen, I'm sorry Regina's treated you badly." You'd lost the need to defend her, even still. Then again, even if you hadn't, there was little you could argue about with the two she'd tormented the most. "You can probably tell this is something Regina doesn't want coming out."
"What does that matter?" Gretchen asked, eyes far away and legs beginning to pace. "We could- could finally bring her down. Yes. We have J, we have everything she wants. She'll come grovelling."
You took a deep breath. You didn't feel angry, you were too tired to get angry at mean girls at this point. Besides, nobody could rile you up like Regina.
"You're wrong." You put it plainly. "What Regina's been doing to these people, to everyone around her, is wrong. But what I find despicable is how everybody is the same. I know her reasons, I can sympathise with her, but I can't say the same for you. So tell me." You paused to take a deep breath. "Why?"
"I'm not good at riddles, I'm sorry." Karen said, looking genuinely apologetic.
"It's okay, Karen, Gretchen can answer for you both."
"She deserves it." Gretchen said, steel in her tone.
"You sound just like Cady Heron and Janis 'Imi'ike. She hurt them too. What do you think ruining her life will achieve?"
"I'll be the new Regina George."
"Do you hear yourself? You still idolize her. If you're gonna be the new Regina George, it's always going to be a Regina George world. Don't you want to be Gretchen Wieners?"
"No!" She screeched. "Gretchen Wieners is lame, boring, too eager, a slut, desperate-" She took a deep breath.
"Okay." You said. "Why? Because Regina said so? Why would you believe her? She's just the same as you. Look," You pulled the album back out.
"Here we're in the Georges' pool. She would not go to the deep end. Y'know, she refused to even go in without those arm floaties for the longest time. Eventually, some boy made fun of her for them and that was the last time.
"And in this one we're driving back from summer camp. Regina was already tall enough to go without a booster seat, but I wasn't. She'd just thrown the biggest tantrum 'cause Mrs George didn't allow her to take off her seatbelt to sleep. She went out like a light, anyway.
"We're in Six Flags there. We'd just gotten those ice creams and you can see that Regina's isn't sticking to the cone all that well. Right after the shot, it just slid off. Regina was inconsolable. I offered her mine so we could share, and that seemed to be good enough for her but her dad was not having it. He threatened to take us home if she didn't stop crying right then, that it'd be all her fault that their whole family wasted money and time on this stupid trip. Eventually she calmed down and Mr George didn't have to drive us back."
You sighed. "I already tried this with Janis, in a way. I don't think Regina would appreciate me airing out her personal life like this, but... I don't know..." You closed your eyes for a moment. "I just want people to stop making things worse for her. She's been so wrong for so long, and I know I can't keep defending her, but I just don't think revenge will make her regret anything that she's done."
Karen hummed. "My auntie's been teaching me about karma. So, like, if she feels what she's made others feel, then won't that like... Fix her?"
"I don't want to hurt her." You said, resolute. "Maybe, it could be the most effective way to make her see her shortcomings. But I don't want to. I do not want to hurt her." You looked between the two. "And that's where we differ, I guess."
Gretchen didn't say anything, eyes glued to a picture from the Six Flags trip. Regina had mustard and ketchup smeared all over her face while she was holding a napkin to your lips, in the process of wiping your face.
With that, you snatched the album from her hands, deposited it back into the locker and slammed it shut. The lock clicked. Without a word, you began to talk towards the exit. Neither of them followed you or said anything to you.
You couldn't stop people from taking their revenge. You had done your best to be diplomatic. Evoking sympathy in hormonal teenagers wasn't something easily done, or maybe you were just shitty at it, but there was little else you could do. If you went ahead and retaliated, hurt them for hurting someone you cared about, the lines blurred.
You'd just be another mean girl.
Notes: Sorry for the delay! The next chapter will be the last one, unless I start rambling or something. After that, I'll do a less structured series of epilogues. Loosely related oneshots, that kinda vibe.
Also, my writing assistant stopped working in the middle of this, so if there's stupid typos I'll come fix them later.
I swear to fucking god if the taglist doesn't work I'll start breaking bones.

id share my chocolate covered strawberries with her (only after yapping about how rude of her to ask tho)
say no more, my queen - regina george x reader
Tumblr media
summary: regina taking care of her girlfriend on her period
Tumblr media
“What are you doing here, baby?” Regina sat down at her vanity table to take off her rings after she noticed you curled up in her bed after school. She received no response, so she decided to gently pull back the thick duvet covering you.
Snatching it back quickly, you huffed and scowled at her, “leave me alone.” Regina scoffed, “you're in my bed.” You only buried yourself deeper into her sheets, not caring about how your girlfriend could potentially be mad at you for ignoring her.
Regina began to frantically wrack her brain for what could make you feel and act in such a way. She didn't recall you feeling ill recently nor did she think she'd done anything to upset you.
Her mother came upstairs and saw Regina leaning over your figure in bed, quietly leaving a tray of snacks for the both of you. She had let you in before your girlfriend had gotten home and told you to make yourself comfortable upstairs.
The assortment of food that June had left was entirely different to what Regina had been eating before she met you. Ever since you had started to get closer to her, slowly her incessant thoughts about being conscious of her body were replaced by your consistent compliments about how perfect she looked.
Carefully, she rustled a bag of crisps, hoping it would get you to emerge from your cocoon of safety. Wordlessly, your arm reached out from under the blanket, your hand open. Regina placed the bag in your hand and you were quick to begin eating it under the blankets.
Suddenly, it clicked for Regina. She remembered you complaining about PMS a few days prior and how terrible it was making you feel.
Going into full protective girlfriend mode, she quickly ordered pizza and took off her makeup before getting into some comfy pyjamas. She went downstairs to collect the food and a hot water bottle with painkillers, bringing them up to you in a hurry.
She knew that you were always especially hungry when you were on your period but your cramps made it too hard to move to get anything to eat. As she climbed into bed, she set up her laptop with a new reality show playing quietly in the background.
“Baby, food’s here!” she gently shook your arm, which got you to uncover yourself. A small smile was evident on your features as you saw the box of pizza on Regina's bed. “All for you, sweetie,” she opened the box and fed you a slice.
As she continued to feed you, you became more like your normal self, chatting away to your girlfriend as she held the hot water bottle to your lower stomach. After you had eaten, she handed you some ibuprofen and a glass of water, encouraging you to take it so you could nap in peace.
“Is there anything else I can get for you, m’lady?” Regina teased. “You know those chocolate strawberries we made last night?” you sheepishly grinned. “Say no more, my queen,” Regina bowed, making you giggle.
She ran downstairs and retrieved them quickly, “nothing but the best for my perfect, beautiful girl.” You blushed, “thank you Gigi.”
Regina put her arm around you as she got comfortable with you tucked into her side, “so, are you gonna share those?” The expression on your face was priceless, “I am bleeding out of my uterus Regina George and you have the audacity to ask me-”
She chucked quietly as she silently regretted even asking as she listened to your rant.

that's all i could ever need. is too much to ask?
Hi would you write for a Leighton x reader where r forgets to take their adhd meds and they get really overwhelmed and they just ‘disappear’ and nobody can find them and they’re just in Leighton’s bed trying to de stress, and the first place they thought of was leightons because they feel safe and calm with her?
Where were you?
Tumblr media
Leighton was about to have a breakdown. She hasn't seen you for over 24 hours, and she hasn't heard from you for about 5 hours now, which wasn't normal. The last time she really heard from you was this morning when you texted her good morning, and since then, nothing. She didn't think anything about it since you would always join her and her roommates for lunch but you were a no-show.
So, she texted you, but nothing. She asked your friends and again nothing. And when no one could reach you and nobody found you, a bit of panic went loose in all your friends. While your friends and Leighton went crazy, you were quietly laying in a bed.
Leighton’s bed, to be exact. The covers were pulled up to your head as you soaked in the blonde’s smell, which lay atop you like a protective barrier. All the stress, negative thoughts, and feelings nearly disappeared. Yesterday, like the idiot you could be, you forgot to take your meds. You didn't really notice until suddenly every small thing started to annoy you and overwhelm you. The fact that you didn't know the reason for it made things even worse until you figured that you forgot your meds.
By now, Leighton, her friends and your friends were on a search mission for you. They knew how you could be and if you went offline in every sense that could mostly mean bad things. So, Leighton searched in your building complex and the gym, Kimberly was looking through the dining hall and the shops, Whitney was going to the donut shop close by and your friends were looking through some of the lecture halls. Bela decided to look for you in the library after getting a hoodie from her and Leightons room.
The girl stalked inside, typing on her phone as she slammed the door open. She hummed as she searched through her closet, grabbing a nice one and turning around just to let it fall when she saw someone in Leightons bed. “Leighton? I thought we are going to search y/n” she questioned as she stepped closer. “Leighton?” She pulled the covers back a bit just to see y/h/c and eyebrows that definitely didn’t belong to Leighton. “Y/n?” She mumbled to herself before sighing.
She exited the room with her phone in hand to let the others know. “Leight? I found her, she’s sleeping in your bed” she explained as she got an apple sauce from the mini fridge.
“You gotta be kidding me. I’m going to kill her” the blonde grumbled and hung up the phone making Bela giggle. Leighton was fuming, not because you were in her room but because you were sleeping in there peacefully while she was freaking out. The dorm room slammed open making her roommate flinch, “is she still in bed?”
“Yeah, she’s dead asleep I guess” she explained but was mostly ignored as Leighton was already slamming the door to their room open. Bela decided that she didn’t want to be a part of this so she left and told everybody that you were fine.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” She screamed as she pulled the blanket off of you, making you whine. You stuttered something out that wasn’t understandable. “Why are you just sleeping here?” She questioned as you carefully sat up, her relief that you were fine overwhelming her and making her miss your shaky hands and wet eyes.
“I- I am sorry. I didn’t think that you’d be mad about it. I mean you gave me the keys after all” you stuttered again and avoided any eye contact with the mad blonde. Her anger seemed to subside though as she started to see the weird way you were behaving and the tears in your eyes.
“Why did you come here?” Her voice was much softer this time, but she kept her distance as long as she didn’t know what was wrong. You scotched back against the headboard and pulled the blanket over you again.
“I forgot to take my meds and i didn’t even notice until I suddenly felt annoyed by everything and everyone and I started to have panic and anxiety and headaches and tantrums and I was so frustrated and normally I would have called you but the headaches made it impossible to look at my phone. So…” you hesitated to keep talking as Leighton sat next to you, her arm wrapped around you pulling you closer to give you comfort.
“So the first place you thought of was my bed?” Your head was laying on her shoulder which made you miss her smile when she said that. Trusting someone has never come easy to her but trusting you was like breathing, it came natural to her.
“I-yeah. I’m sorry if I overstepped, it’s just the thought of your perfume and all of this around me made me calm down already” you explained further playing with the fingers on her hand that wasn’t wrapped around you.
“Gosh, now I feel like an asshole. I love the fact that you thought of me first and felt comfortable coming here, I was just scared. Nobody had heard from you for over five hours and that is never good so I thought that maybe something had happened. I’m sorry I was so rude when I came inside” it was easy to know that she was telling the truth, her voice was so soft that it was impossible that she was lying.
“No, I get it. I would have been mad too. I’m sorry I didn’t text, it just slipped my mind” her arm squeezes you a bit tighter, which was her way of showing that she understood and was fine with it. You stayed in a comfortable silence for a moment before you noticed your headaches coming back, you often had them after feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. Your shifting was an obvious sign to the blonde by now.
“How are you now?” She questioned, looking down at you with a look that told you not to lie. It was smart, you would have tried to lie but she had a different kind of power over you.
“My head still hurts” you quietly confessed, looking down at the blanket that was covering your legs. Leighton sighs and leans over to get some medicine from next to her bed.
“Here take these and then turn over so I can cuddle you while we take another nap” she insisted, not leaving any space for arguments which, again, was smart. It was rather early in the day and you knew she still had classes.
You mumbled a thank you, took the pill and turned on your side facing away from the blonde so she could hug you from behind. The light was quickly turned off and a text was shot to her roommates to be quiet when they came home. “Leighton?”
“Yes love?”
“Thank you for caring” you weren’t quite at the ‘I love you’ mark yet, so this was the best you could do. You had both shown how much you loved each other throughout the day; you could only think of her during your worst moments and she would have torn down the campus to find you.
“Thank you for feeling safe with me” she pressed a kiss to your head and pulled you closer before you both drifted off to sleep.

Nightfalls Embrace
Tumblr media
Pairing: Regina George x fem!reader
Summary: Regina’s insistence for you to stay the night forces you to tell her about a secret you’ve been hiding.
Word count: 1.4K

Regina George is manipulative.
She does whatever she has to in order to get what she wants and she has no qualms about it.
Right now, she wants you to stay the night.
It’s a Friday night so she knows you have nothing to do tomorrow, not to mention it’s like two in the morning so it’s actually a Saturday, and your parents are away on top of that. It’s a perfect situation, if only you weren’t so stubborn.
“Regina, I gotta get home. It’s late.”
“Exactly. It’s late and you’ve been drinking. You’ll be safer here than if you try and drive home.”
You shake your head, a tiny smile rising on your face at her concern. “I’ll be fine, babe. I only had one drink, and I didn’t even finish it.”
It’s absolutely ridiculous how stubborn you’re being about this. This is your safety she’s talking about, nothing else, and she’s not gonna let you risk your life driving home no matter how few drinks you had.
If that means a little manipulation is in order then so be it.
Regina wraps her arms around your neck, her nails lightly stroking along your neck and sending a shiver down your spine. Your hands rest on her hips and she gives you that dazzling smile that never fails to make butterflies appear in your stomach before she leans in and presses her lips against yours.
Your eyes flutter closed and a soft sigh of content escapes your lips around the kiss. Regina flicks her tongue across your bottom lip asking for entrance and you grant it to her immediately, a moan slipping from your lips as her tongue slides against yours. She pulls you closer to her, your bodies flush against each others.
Is it wrong for her to be manipulating you like this? Yes, a hundred percent, but it’s for a good reason so it all balances out.
She pulls away from your lips and you take in desperate lungfuls of air while she presses kisses to your cheek. “Will you please stay the night with me, my love?” She whispers, her warm breath caressing your skin. “It would make me so, so, happy if you did. You can hold me and tell me I’m pretty, and in the morning I can order us breakfast from your favorite place.”
This is so unfair. Regina knows what her kisses do to you, knows that you’re practically weak against them and will give in to her wishes if she kisses you long enough before asking. Combine that with the pouty voice that only you get to hear and you’re practically putty in her hands.
This time is no different.
With your head fuzzy from kisses, you don’t realize the words of agreement that slip from your mouth until it’s too late, and by the time you do you’re sitting on the edge of Regina’s bed dressed in a spare set of her clothes while she rummages around in the bathroom preparing for the night.
You jump at a touch on your chin and look up to see Regina staring down at you. You try to give her a reassuring smile, but you’re sure it comes out as more of a grimace and Regina sighs in response, her eyes softening as she speaks. “You don’t actually have to stay if you don’t want to. I can have my mom drive you home and I can bring your car later.”
You shake your head. “No, no, it’s not that I don’t want to stay. I just…” you trail off, wiping your hands down your face roughly. “God, this is so stupid, it’s embarrassing.”
There’s a distinct reason you wanted to get home. It has nothing to do with want because the truth is you’ve wanted to spend the night with Regina before, but embarrassment is holding you back. You’ve got a secret and it’s one you’re deeply ashamed of because it’s so stupid and shouldn’t even be an issue.
No one else has this problem, no normal person has this problem. Regina doesn’t have this problem. Why do you? Why can’t you be like everyone else?
Your vision’s starting to blur, you can feel the tears building in the corner of your eyes, but you refuse to cry over this, over something so childish, especially in front of your girlfriend.
You squeeze your eyes shut and try to force back your tears, but a soft call of your name has the dam cracking open. The tears escape before you can stop them and Regina cradles you in her arms, your hands clutching her tight to you for the last time because there’s no way she’ll want to stay with you once she finds out how much of a loser you are. You sniffle and release a shaky breath, choking out the words you were planning to take to the grave. “I’m scared of the dark, Regina. I can’t sleep without a nightlight.”
Regina shifts above you and you tense, bracing yourself for her mockery and the inevitable breakup to follow. You know this is going to be in the Burn Book, you can already see it. There’s no reason for you not to be now since you’re not gonna be dating the Queen B anymore. “Babygirl,” she whispers.
“I’m sorry for being such a loser,” you blurt out before you can stop yourself, mouth moving faster than your brain can comprehend. The words are escaping as they come to your head long before you can take the time to process them. “I know you don’t want to date me anymore now and that’s okay, I can live with that. I’ll probably never move on, but you can go date someone normal, someone who’s not a baby that-,”
Warm hands on your cheeks tilt your head up and soft lips collide with yours in a gentle kiss. It’s quick and sweet and you don’t really get a chance to reciprocate, but it does its job of distracting you and quieting your brain, giving her a chance to speak. “Breathe, baby, you’re spiraling.” She reaches up, wiping away your tears with the pad of her thumb and slowly, your breathing begins to steady. “There you go, love. Just like that. Now, I need you to listen to me, okay?”
You nod and blink your eyes open to meet hers.
“I love you and you being afraid of the dark is not going to change that. Nyctophobia is a very real fear and your age does not invalidate your feelings like you think it does. Everyone is scared of something, some just hide it better, but that doesn’t make you any less normal.”
“Do you have any fears?”
Your voice is barely above a whisper and for a few moments there’s no answer until finally, Regina speaks up, her voice level matching yours. “Being forgotten.”
You furrow your brows, looking at Regina in confusion. She has athazagoraphobia? Of all the possible fears she could’ve said, you never would’ve expected her to have a social fear, but when you think about it, it makes sense. Everyone bows down to her and follows everything she does so you think it’s natural she’d be nervous about such a thing. Not to mention, her father’s a dick who left her and her mother and sister to have a new family and never spoke to them again like they never even mattered to him; like she never even mattered to him.
Asshole.
You take Regina’s hand in yours and bring it to your lips, pressing a gentle kiss to her skin. “I’d never forget you, Regina.”
Regina giggles, wiping away the single tear that managed to escape. “I know, Princess, thank you. Now, why don’t you go wash those dried tears away, hm?”
You do so, the cool water against your heated skin making you sigh in relief, and when you emerge from the bathroom, your lips part in shock at the golden galaxy strewn across the ceiling from the night light projector sitting atop Regina’s dresser. A smile spreads across your face at the sight and you can’t help the happy tears that appear in the corner of your eyes as you gaze up in awe, a small laugh escaping because you know she took this from Kylie’s room so you could be comfortable.
Regina’s waiting for you in bed and you crawl in next to her, falling into her waiting arms. You lay your head on her chest, her heart beating soothingly in your ears while her fingers run lightly up and down your side, pulling a gentle sigh from you as your eyes begin to flutter. “Thank you for this, Regina,” you murmur. “I love you.”
Regina presses a kiss to your temple and the last thing you hear before sleep claims you is her soft, “I love you too, Princess.”
