side order truly is weird, so many people have had so many different experiences with it, and I think thats the most beautiful thing about it. I've seen many people literally finish the entire spire in less than 24 hours from the release, and finish 100% fairly quick too, which isn't really a bad thing. This IS supposed to be a rogue lite, where you repeat the same cycle over and over until you succeed. In the end it is all about the gameplay loop, and whether you end up getting tired from the same tasks. I personally found myself really obsessed with it; I truly couldn't stop myself till i finished an entire run. The possibilities really are endless, and you can make it as easy or as difficult as you want with the hacks (or the lack thereof). On the other hand, i cant deny that the enemies and stages are pretty repetitive (cruel sisyphean is in my nightmares), the music is somewhat forgettable and that the story is... there. But i overall think this is one of the most innovative ways for the franchise to evolve, and a great successor for octo expansion :)
#sorry for the block of text i want to give my overall opinions in the more concise way#i will talk about the story more indepth in another post (we need to address the octopus in the room)#also let me just rant here a lil and say that i was devastated when the only reward for 1000% was the color badges#like im not gonna deny that its cute that i have a weird rainbow in the selection screen but idk?? i thought there would be more#anyway i totally understand the feeling of those who just dont like roguelikes and therefore found the whole thing tedious#or those that simply think that OE is still better by a longshot (i think it is better than SO but they're pretty close in quality)#but i think they did great with this dlc :]#side order rambling

Hello everyone, sorry for randomly vanishing. Life has been kinda hard for me ever since I got caught for tax evasion; the IRS doesn't really take kindly to me sending them monopoly money. Being in jail was not very fun, but if I got something good out of it, it was that I had plenty of time to play side order! (the guard was very nice; he only wanted some yaoi cocaine in exchange) so I have plenty of things to ramble about here! WE'RE SO BACK!

I take a break from splatoon so i can get fresh hype for side order only for nintendo to release 2 trailers and a concert, all while creating the most bittersweet atmosphere ever. stinky kits and final salmon run map, meanwhile theres side order and incredible idol collabs. this year is gonna be a doozy

As a rule of thumb, don't reblog donation posts or people asking for donations unless they've been vetted and reblogged by Palestinian bloggers. We usually go to lengths to verify this shit because we know scammers have been faking to get people to send them money, using the urgency of our genocide as bait.
It's disgusting this is what we're dealing with, but people are losing money because of some truly evil people out there.
Accounts don't just randomly spring up on tumblr without gofundmes while asking for someone to help them create a campaign. Fuck out of here with that shit.

Guys i know that this has been said a thousand times but its true. this splatfest is kinda lazy. They could have gone crazy with valentines day but they choose such a nothing theme. maybe they just wanted something nice and easy so frye can get the win but it just feels like filler till side order drops
