A Fall Guy press update, really.

if Broadway doesn’t want bootlegs floating around then they need to get their act together and make legal recordings. you can say all you want that theater is meant to be enjoyed live, but the fact of the matter is not everybody can get to NYC to go to a Broadway show. not everybody can afford to take the time off of work and buy a plane ticket to NYC and buy a night in a hotel AND get the ticket to the show. people want to see the shows, that’s why there’s a bootleg market in the first place, but it’s unreasonable to expect that everyone has the time, money, and ability to make it out to the one place in the world to see something on Broadway, especially if it’s a limited engagement. so record that shit, slap some subtitles on it, and sell it so we can buy it legally.
#The insane price of theatre tickets really isn't helping my theatre loving self#I've been saying for YEARS there needs to be some sort of streaming service for theatre!#I'd pay for that in an instant!!

Every so often I rewatch Home Fires (sometimes the whole show, sometimes skip through bits) and I apparently forget the cliff hanger they left the series on??
Like… the show ended with a plane crashing into the doctor’s house whilst the butcher’s wife was inside having a baby!
How can I forget about that?! Also 8 years later and I’m still bitter they stopped after 2 series…

i'll go first my parents almost named me felicity. which would've been so cool but i definitely would've been like 5x crazier if i was named that
#when I was first born I actually had a different name#after a few days they changed it#not majorly though#they just switched first and middle names around#but I learned something recently#Lucy is my maternal great-grandmother's middle name and I always thought I was named after her#turns out my parents chose Lucy because they liked it and never knew until after I was born that it was her name
