Curiosities:
♦ Sturm revealed in 2013 that she signed a publishing deal with Baker Publishing Group. She has two book published: The Reason: How I Discovered a Life Worth Living and The Mystery: Finding Love in a World of Broken Lovers.
♦ In February 2016, Sturm became the first solo female to top the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart with her debut release.
Personal life:
♦ Sturm was an atheist prior to becoming a Christian. She had contemplated suicide and then ended up in a church where a man spoke to her what she believed to be words from God, which led to her becoming a Christian.

♦ Halestorm was the last band to share the stage with Ronnie James Dio for his final performance on August 29, 2009, as they opened for Heaven And Hell at Atlantic City’s House Of Blues.
Personal life:
♦ On October 11, 2014, Hale came out as bisexual on her personal Twitter account.
♦ On October 30, 2015, it was confirmed that she has been in an on-and-off relationship with fellow guitarist Joe Hottinger.
