the red princess was used to seeing people come in and out of the palace. they would come from all over wonderland just to present gifts and offers of trade to the queen. so, when she noticed a strange man with a hook for a hand come through the palace walls, she couldn’t help but investigate. lizzie walked up to the man and asked, “ are you lost, sir? do you need help with anything? you know you’re in wonderland, right? the red palace, to be exact. ”

not that there are any other active palaces in wonderland right now, her thoughts could have become strings of words, but she knew that would be unprofessional of her. lizzie analyzed the man standing before her. she felt like she had seen him before, but she could not quite place her finger on where. was it from her dreams at night? could he be from one of the fairy tales she had been read to as a kid? no, of course not. that would be impossible.

the reality is tumblr is actively phasing out the legacy editor. we may not like that but it is what it is.

new tumblr accounts don't have access to the legacy editor anymore !!

which means if you use new xkit to cut your posts, that post is now a legacy format post and your partner, who no longer has access to new xkit and needs to use xkit rewritten, won't be able to trim their posts because xkit rewritten requires both posts to be in the new post format.

i know that sounds confusing, but we just have to start using xkit rewritten.

Let me be REAL CLEAR about an important and very fucking strict rule on my blog that i take very seriously: 

if i reblog a meme, you are 300% allowed to send me memes. 

I do not secretly wish YOU personally would not send me one. 

I do not care if we have a thread already or if you sent 10 memes yesterday. 

I am a big girl. I am a grown up. I can set my own boundaries. If I don’t want more memes, I won’t reblog them. Or I’ll tell you guys to pause on sending memes for a while while I catch up. 

I love hoarding memes. I love getting memes from everyone. Even if I didn’t answer the last five you sent me, you might send me ONE today that I have an idea for immediately. 

If you sent me a meme I didn’t answer, I probably just didn’t have an idea right away. But it’s NEVER EVER BECAUSE I DON’T WANT YOU TO SEND ME MEMES.

i made a new blog for an original portrayal of one of my FAVORITE literary characters. she is a fandomless witch with a modern verse. i'm still trying to figure out how i'm going to execute all of the ideas and headcanons i have for her. at least it's something for now.

lizzie was not sure why she signed up to volunteer in the most well-known part of the capitol, but it was too late to think about it. she was face-to-face with the president’s son. who the hell would have ever thought that would happen to a young girl from the united kingdom? sure, she had moved to the states after she turned eighteen, but still. this was quite the american adventure.

the red princess knew what the wondrous female was referring to. it wasn’t unusual for the rulers of wonderland to belittle the inhabitants of the land. lizzie was the daughter of the rulers in red, and she was often misunderstood or overlooked. ❝ alice, i’m sorry my mother did that to you. you aren’t the only one she despises … what if we stood up to her together? ❞

lizzie knew that it was easier said than done to stand up to the red queen of wonderland. most of the time, lizzie couldn’t get her mother to acknowledge her or anything that came out of the princess’s mouth. ❝ sometimes I wish she had never met the king … or the queen of hearts. they were horrible influences—or so i’ve heard. ❞

lizzie was well aware of what a true monster was like. she was raised by her mother, the red queen of wonderland, whom many citizens of wonderland viewed as a monster. queen anastasia was the definition of a monster, according to lizzie. she killed the king in order to gain power and control. she wanted to rule the land all by herself.

❝ my mother was a monster … and honestly, i am so glad that she is not here in storybrooke with me. i don’t even think she knows that i’m here. ❞ the young princess looked down at her red converse shoes, biting her lip nervously. it wasn’t her goal to let the sheriff of storybrooke know her true intentions in town. lizzie only wanted to find her father and tell him the truth. nothing more, nothing less.
