Deserted by Eros, her lover, Psyche bemoans her curiosity and its consequences. Agitated yet demure, she is comforted by Pan, the otherwise frivolous god of nature.

I am a dark bowl, waiting to be filled. If I open my mouth now, I could drown in the rain.
I hurry home as though someone is there waiting for me. The night collapses into your skin. I am the rain.

Edit: Plain text version under the cut :)
talking to people about faith fills me with such curiosity and such love and reverence for the human desire for connection and purpose.
i was talking to a Christian today, an acquaintance of mine. i don't typically talk openly about my faith, especially to someone i don't know well, but the way they talked about God just hit me in a way that i cannot describe
it felt so comparable to how i feel about the Theoi, how Apollon lights my every day and how Aphrodite makes me see the beauty in everything, how Ares gives me strength and how Zeus fills me with hope (and so on, forever).
it was so similar to my experiences, but so different. her descriptions of God and their relationship felt so familiar, but so distant and something i could never fully comprehend.
the way i talk to others, even of my same faith, about gods and religion is always open and full of room for listening. i love hearing about the love these individuals came across, i love hearing about their relationships even with gods i don't know.
it's beautiful to me.
