pro hero! izuku who’s a bit cocky once he’s well in his thirties. he knows he looks good, he knows people long for him, but he knows how many people thirst after his pretty lil girlfriend more.

his sweet girlfriend who’s oblivious to the stares and the catcalls and the posts on social media. too busy clinging to izu’s arm, just assumes everyone is busy ogling him instead. you understood, it never bothered you.

pro hero! izu who knows his friends gawk over you too, wonder what you look like under those darling clothes you’re always wearing. wonders how sweet you actually were to izuku in other settings. so pretty and quiet, never a swear word leaving your lips, but the others all saw it, the way you’d stop yourself at the sight of izuku’s eyes on you.

you were well behaved, docile almost.

domesticated.

silent conversations between you two, all eye contact and firm hands on your shoulders. a curl of his finger had you bolting towards him across the room, no matter if you were in the middle of a conversation or not.

“yo, ‘zuku, why’s your girl so..” kiri trailed off.

“so, what?”

“obedient.” kaminari blurted out, his own eyes focused on where you were chatting with mina.

izuku only gives them a soft smile, tipping up a glass of sweet tea to his lips, one you had just brought over to him.

“because she knows what’ll happen if she’s not.”

his tone is rather firm, something dark lingering in the background that was never really displayed in public, a domineering vibe that sent even shivers down kami’s spine.

“dude, i’m not following-,” kirishima started to say but katsuki was quick to butt in.

“short-stack has been avoiding sitting flat on her ass since we got here, do the math shitty hair.”

and for a moment the red head was still confused, but when it dawned on him his face almost matched his hair.

“oh.”

-> when you first started social media, it was quite casual—long before the days of the “influencer” came around. you found it to be a fun outlet for you to post cute photos and videos about your daily life.

really, you thought you were just posting into the ether. until you looked at your account one day and saw that you had 10k followers on your instagram and 50k subscribers on youtube.

you couldn’t lie, your heart dropped to your ass. suddenly, it occurred to you that you had all of these eyes on you. stage fright and imposter syndrome struck you hard.

for months, you neglected to post, until you just decided to log out of all of your socials. and it wouldn’t be until almost a year later that you would decide to log back in on your instagram account.

your comments and dm!s were flooded with your followers begging you to come back. they missed seeing you pop up on their feeds and watching your videos.

it brought tears to your eyes. and even though you were scared off of this path a year ago, you did miss posting and interacting with your supporters.

so, one day, after finishing your classes for the day, you returned to your room and pulled out your camera. the poor thing had been collecting dust. you cleaned it up, placed it on its tripod, and recorded a video for the first time in a year. your first instagram post since was uploaded a day after.

you were back, and you vowed to your loyal supporters that you wouldn’t be leaving them like that again.

*˚⁺‧͙˚◌ ʜɪsᴛᴏʀʏ ᡣ𐭩

-> kento nanami is a simple man, always has been. rather traditional, too—for the most part. as a kid, he’s always been about his books. even all the way to early adulthood, in his residency years.

he never let himself get distracted by anyone or anything. his goal, since the age of six, was to be a cardiothoracic surgeon. the field requires one to be about their business, which he was and is.

with most of his time spent on studies, nanami didn’t meddle with dating or casual sex even. he hardly spent any of his time on his phone—technology was a distraction, especially with the birth of social media.

it was all just trouble waiting to happen.

if he was in need of a way to spend his down time, he’d hang out with the one friend he made in med school, Yu Haibara, do some light reading, or complete some architectural sketches (a secret hobby of his).

nanami was a rather private person, as previously stated—a simple man. he never saw the appeal in social media and posting your life for all to see. and he probably never will.
