it seems like nothing at first BUT

he says in the message something like “if this is Joyce I’ve been trying to reach you, it’s probably best that we meet in person. I have an update about [stammers over words] anyway it’s not good or bad but it’s something” 

now obviously this message was recorded after the events of season 3 because Murray didn’t even know Joyce before then SO 

What update could he possibly have to give Joyce in person ??

I think he’s been looking into Hopper. I think he’s suspicious (as always). He’s not totally convinced he’s dead and he’s been doing some digging and trying to keep Joyce in the loop

Watching the Stranger Things season 3 finale be like:

Watching Hopper "die" knowing it was just for shock and that he's still alive

Watching the 3 months later with no confirmation that Hopper is still alive

Watching El read the letter her dad wrote her and the credits rolling

Me finishing Stranger Things Season 3 in a day and having to process all the emotions I feel.

honestly mike in season 3 was so unlikable. i love mike, don't get me wrong, but he was written so out of character this season that it didnt feel like mike. if they werent even gonna write mike right, they should have given will more screentime considering hes usually written well.

WE GOT NO REDEMPTION! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE DACRE WAS ACTUALLY HAPPY WITH THIS ENDING! HE HAD TO BUILD A CHARACTER FROM SCRATCH ONLY TO HAVE THEM NOT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT HIM AND THROW HIM AWAY! I AM SO HAPPY DACRE IS IN A NEW SHOW AND PROJECT WHERE THEY WILL HOPEFULLY GIVE HIM MORE THEN THE FUCKING DUFFERS

Very little redemption. Yeah, he saved El and sacrificed himself to the MF. I wouldn’t call that a huge redemption, his ending got fucked. His story line was just also fucked, I expected more on his background story and am not happy with the way his mom turned out. No wonder Billy is so fucked up! I was really hoping for some kind of Max and Billy bonding scene or something good to happen between then but we got ripped from that. I am so thoroughly disappointed in this season, for Billy’s story. Dacre just lied out of his ass, why did he think his fans would be happy about? How as this satisfying for any of us? The haters maybe, but we were just shitted on with his story arc. Dacre wanted to be done with ST, he was over it and wanted to move on and he got exactly what he wanted and i feel that was a wrong choice. Billy could have soooo much potential and i think they just wasted it all, crumbled him up and threw him away like was nothing.
