it’s amusing to the god to watch the mortal before him. it’s entertaining when he finds humans that believe they’re a match for casimir’s strength and willpower–underestimating him just because of his size in this disguise of his. he grew bored of his past bodies. bored of the giants he was, too intimidating to have any spars with him. it’s why he’s inhabiting this body. fueled on the fights he’s part of. watching their faces change when they come to realization that he’s more than he appears.

“shock me? that you can’t fight to save your own life? just a bit.”

“Honestly? Call it privileged, but I’ve never had to.” He admitted with a small shrug of his shoulders. Sure, he’d thrown too-drunk patrons out of the pub for causing a scene, and he’d had to break up a few scuffles over the years, but nothing too serious. He’d never actually thrown down with anyone -- so he wasn’t even sure if he could. Who knew, people could become dangerous when they were genuinely threatened.

He paused, then tilted his head in a curious manner. “Are you trying to threaten me?”

There was something almost inherently intimidating about the entire situation. JIYONG stood multiple inches taller than this male, and was a considerable amount broader. But even he knew this guy knew his stuff. He wasn’t too proud to admit that if they tried, he’d be laid out in a matter of moments.

“What can I say, I’m a gentle creature.” He chided with a playful flourish of his hands, amused grin curving the corners of his lips. “Why, does that shock you?”

JIYONG checked his watch, shifting his weight from one foot to another in the process. He hadn’t expected this restaurant to be so busy -- he was running out of time. He had to be back to open up the bar soon, and his name was nowhere close to the top of the list. He watched as another buzzer number was called, and the single person began up to the podium to be seated, then quickly shuffled after. He gave an almost goofy looking smile.

“Mind if I join you? I’ll pay.”
