Oops, meant to make this a week...
Hrm, gonna make this question into a poll just to kick my indecisive ass into gear. I mentioned a default prompt catagory for Events, which would include those with a SHIELDRA link (like IM2 or Thor's fight with the Destroyer) or worldwide impact (like the Snap) even if Rumlow wasn't involved with them in canon. It was suggested that it would be better to use more general timeframes (Pre-canon, TWS, Post Insight, etc) but I'm waffling.

Need a trash czar!
As I mentioned before, Hydra Trash Party specific prompts will be an optional catagory, and you can request those more than once. Obviously with the right mindset, anything can be an htp prompt, but I was hoping for a nice tailored list as well.
However, I am not quite enough of an htp fan to be confident in it, and I'm hoping that someone(s) would be willing to take ownership of that prompt list.

Prompt lists
Starting on some of the nuts and bolts of making tic tac tales cards. I figure there will be a number of general categories used in all cards, and some that people will request (theoretically, you could even ask for two or three of a catagory you really like, and they would be placed to not appear in the same line.)
So far for general, I have :
Place - Triskelon, Stark Tower, helicarrier, Avengers Compound, Siberian base, Lagos,
Event - Loki's invasion, Dark Elf Invasion, Ultron, Thor's banishment, Civil War, The Snap, the return, Insight, Culver battle, Abomination battle, Stark Expo
Character - Peirce, Fury, Romanoff, Rogers, Barton, Rollins, Winter Soldier, Sharon Carter, Hill, Sam Wilson,
Weapon - handgun, shock sticks, sniper rifle, powered gauntlets, boot knife,
Image - I don't accumulate image files, so I'll need help on this one. My vague plan is to place an image in the center spot, but allow everyone to choose another square to swap it with, so you can place the prompt you vibe with most in the point of most connections.
If you have suggestions for other good generic categories or additions for these, by all means say so!
Optional but generic categories I've thought of : AUs, Romance, Smut, Whump, Action. If anyone has other suggestions and/or can recomend good lists for these, lemme know.
Some custom optional categories : Tropes, as in ones specifically applied to Rumlow. HYDRA, people places slogans etc. Hydra Trash Party would be common tropes, objects and maybe some of the more widely used OCs? Grillo-verse because there's a reasonably common fic type using other Frank Grillo roles for crossovers, twins and/or Multiverse shenanigans.
Thoughts, suggestions, desire to make one or more categories your own?

Some Bingos and events give little "awards" for accomplishing things from fills to blackouts, generally just a cute clip art kinda medal. I dunno of we'd want to or not, just throwing it out that if so, I would need help.
Well, what's all this, then?
This is the hopeful home of a Brock Rumlow tic tac tales event. (Explaining how tic tac tales differs from bingo will be the next post.) I have never run an event and am completely winging it, so both help and patience are appreciated.
The only ground rules so far :
While slanted towards the MCU and the lovely Frank Grillo, ALL Brock Rumlows are welcome here. Sadistic bastard, punchclock villain, trash daddy, triple agent, ideological but a Goddamn Professional and AUs of all stripes, whatever your take, create for it.
Comprehensive tagging is a must. Warnings, themes, characters and characterizations. Our man attracts folks of many tastes, so there will probably be a couple of threads suggesting what people want to know before they read.
What are the dates? Who knows? If we pull this off we'll know how much time to budget if we wanna do it again. Probably by Summer.

I don't see any reason to disallow them, though it might be a greater challenge to combine multiple prompts in art than writing.
This might be a good time to note that I have absolutely no art or design talent myself, so if people want to do badges/awards for various completionist tasks, I will need help for that.

So what is tic tac tales?
Tic tac tales is a writing/creativity game where story elements are arranged in a 3×3 grid like a tic tac toe board. Then rather than write one story for each square, you create stories that use all three elements in a line. So for this fairy tale example I found :
...you could write a story about a princess finding a key in a golden apple, a prince fighting a dragon for the same key, the prince and princess adventuring in the enchanted forest, etc.
Because the elements are supposed to be combined, they tend to be very simple and versatile, and there's also an effort to make sure that each card has prompts from a wide variety of categories. So rather than mixing up all the elements that someone was open to and filling a card, the idea would be to fill the card with categories like so :
Then fill in from those lists.
Obviously there are other details to work out, but that's the basic idea. Thoughts, questions or suggestions?
