We all have struggled with worries – fears of rejection, failure, change, the unknown, discomfort, pain, and the facing of fear itself. And we all have dealt with insecurities – what if I'm not good enough, smart enough, attractive enough, etc? Because of our combined fears and insecurities, we sometimes feel that doubt makes more sense than faith. And in a twisted way, we sometimes feel safer holing up in our doubting rather than stepping out to dream. But here's the thing: we are what we think. We choose whether to project into the negative and dread what can go wrong, or to embrace the possibilities of good and what could actually go right. Fear is negative dreaming – it's cringing with readiness to receive the worst in life instead of positioning ourselves to get the best. Fear never protects us. It only holds us back from the potential of living our best life. If we want to find the ones and even the ONE who will be best for us, we must learn to scoff at fear and choose to believe that we can have the best.
