I really really hate how some of the fandom downplays or makes jokes about Jack being sexually assaulted, just because he's a bit of a flirt. He was drunk, he could not consent. He was taken advantage of.

(Also this is kinda just a side rant but why why WHY is this a common theme when it comes to "flirtatious" characters - usually men - in general getting raped like what the actual Fuck)

Honestly, a lot of CC feels like you don’t notice any flaws if you play casually, but when you take a bit of a closer look, you start seeing the issues 😭

For example, S4’s many, many historical inaccuracies or the logical fallacies with how the demons got human disguises in S7. They seem fine on the surface, but the moment you look a little bit deeper, you just go “Wait a damn minute-”

Hi Anon! I thought I'd answer this question, if that's okay. If not, you can simply DM me and I'll edit this post caption to the usual magnifying glass, no questions asked!

While I do think that it's best to prioritize civility and thoughtful discussions above any arguments, I also acknowledge people use this account to express their opinion as well as their disagreement for another opinion (so long as the original post was anon, to prevent any form of harassment). As such, it's definitely expected for unpopular and/or controversial opinions to receive a response on this account. However, if the response provides no further substance or thoughtful points to the original discussion (such as nasty, insulting wording or a personal attack upon the anon themselves and not their opinion), I will definitely delete it, if that's your concern! The rules do allow some discourse, within reason of course.

I do want to encourage people to scroll away if an opinion doesn't resonate with them, though! You're allowed to make response posts, but I don't particularly encourage them. (They stress me out a little!)

To put this concisely: The reason people make response anons to controversial opinions is because controversy is most likely to spur a response from somebody; the reason I allow this is if it happens under specific circumstances (confession being criticized is anon), and because discourse is, to an extent, allowed.

Not "Frank should've been fired," or "Frank shouldn't have been fired," but a secret third thing (He made a lot of fireable offenses with no reasonable justification and it was irresponsible to keep him in the force but had the game been realistic and actually fired him, a great portion of the game's thematic elements would be lost)
