Originally, I modded this song into Kingdom Hearts III and I realized that the lyrics fitted Terra's character arc pretty well. Decided to test me video editing skills and, well, this happened.
Oh yeah, a mate of mine @megaderping did a really insightful character analysis on Terra, which I'll link here. Dorked also writes a KH fanfic called @khantipode which in my opinion is a must-read for any Kingdom Hearts fans.

"Anna... Why did you never LEAVE?!"
Meant to get back to this for a while. This is a sketch of Dark Elsa from @megaderping's Kingdom Hearts fanfic @khantipode. The fourth installment (titled "Act 3: All That's Left") has a Frozen adaptation that's far more ambitious and transformative than the beat-by-beat adaptation in Kingdom Hearts III. In a nod to the original tale, Elsa gets stabbed in the heart with a shard of enchanted glass, making her see only the ugly in the world. Also, Hans gets more screentime as a villain. I oughta sketch him too.

For years, the Kingdom Hearts fandom has argued that Terra is the dumbest character in Birth by Sleep. That he’s too trusting, too gullible, and that Aqua has to clean up after his messes. Both he and Aqua tend to get boiled down to flat archetypes without regard for their actions in the story or the complexities to their characters.
In this video, I hope to challenge that perspective by really digging into Terra as a character, his actions in the story, and the context behind those actions. Through it all, I also wish to emphasize the tragedy of Birth by Sleep on a more personal level than the broad, macro plot elements.

Tried recreating the climactic battle in Kingdom Hearts III Data Greeting. It took some tinkering with the Asset Editor to give Aqua, Xiruk and Xion their correct Keyblades from the story, but I’m quite satisfied with the result.

The sight before him petrified Terra. His breath hitched as he soaked it all in. His Master’s emblem spanned the rounded walls, suspended by chains. A solitary throne resting at its center, and as Terra circled around, there he was. That spiky, side swept blonde hair. The short-sleeved jacket, half black and half white, without a long coat in sight. Swallowing the lump that had lodged itself in his throat, Terra crept ever closer, but as he moved, the walls reflected pictures of the past.
Ven pushing away his and Aqua’s hands, giving them a heartbreaking look. “I’m asking you as a friend. Just… put an end to me.”
Terra offering Ven a sad smile after ruffling his hair. “When I really need you, Ven, I know you’ll be there.”
Outside their home, still a castle bathed in gold, he’d ruffled Ven’s hair before donning armor and blasting off into the sky.
Curse this place. Terra’s vision blurred through… no. He clenched his teeth and averted his gaze. He would not show weakness near the Replica, of all people… And besides, he was still a Nobody.

They both gave him a look, equal parts perplexed and annoyed.
One of my patrons, Joel, requested a version of the divorce selfie meme because of this excerpt from All That’s Left. Xiruk (Riku Replica) is very exasperated by these two.

After months of work, I have finished my 42 minute character analysis and story deep dive on Alphys from Undertale AND Deltarune! This video covers just about everything, including chronologically organizing the True Lab entries so that there is no disputing that she wrote them all and that True Lab is about HER mistakes and character journey.

It's a joke right? Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you should learn a few things about relationships.
I'm asexual and aromantic, but besides that... they are literally monsters and not all of them have lips. Some have beaks. Some are made of slime. That's why I said lips aren't that important.
Never mind that affection can be shown in a ton of other ways besides kissing? Some couples may not kiss much, or at all. That doesn't mean their love isn't valid. There are touch averse people. Gestures and actions are really underrated.

So this came out of a conversation about a Kingdom Hearts fanfic called Hurricane Heartbeat.
For those wondering, Hurricane Heartbeat is a delightful Kingdom Hearts fanfic by @megaderping. It explores what would happen if Ventus ended up possessing Sora’s body at the end of Birth By Sleep. Super emotional, and the characterization is spot-on. Would highly recommend. It feels like a pilot movie for a Kingdom Hearts adventure with a unique premise. Anyways, enough talking. Go read it.

Zack was alive. Safe in Traverse Town, at least for a time. True, others had spoken of him, from Hades to Leon and his friends, but words were one thing. Seeing was believing. So many questions flooded Aqua’s mind. Where did the scar come from? When was this? And who was that Nobody?
Well. Perhaps that wasn’t too hard to guess, given whose memory this was.
Footsteps from behind alerted Aqua to the others. Xiruk spoke first. “That’s Zack, isn’t it?”
“He’s just like I remember…” Aqua spoke breathlessly. Of all the things she expected to see, Zack was at the bottom of the list.
Of course he didn’t see her. Couldn’t hear her. He’d never know how close she was now. Instead, he remained transfixed with the ‘stranger’ in front of him, stepping forward.
“Who are you?” …Even his voice was the same. A voice she hadn’t heard in over a decade. How funny that she’d get so worked up over someone she’d only met once. But after three floors of haunting imagery, something so simple provided a welcome change of pace, all while casting away the shadows of uncertainty.
And just like Zack had dispelled her own uncertainty, the hooded figure did the same as he spoke in a familiar voice. “Let’s just say… I’m an old friend.”

Ok so this post is extremely long and I put it all together for my blogs Feeling sad page but as I don’t have a huge amount of followers I realize so many people are not seeing this information so I’m posting it here too!
alternatives without harming yourself:
holding/squeezing ice.
splashing your face with water.
getting a rubber band and snapping it against your skin (this could hurt, though it’s better than other ways that people usually choose to self-harm).
take a hot shower or bath.
eat something sour. it will take your mind of the urge. (lemon, sour lollies)
massage where you want to self-harm.
get a red pen or red paint and draw/paint over where you usually self-harm.
remind yourself as to why you shouldn’t do it. (scars, harms organs, leave memories etc…)
describe what you are feeling. (is the urge/pain in your chest, fists, legs, arms, head).
killing yourself will not help. it is not a solution.
you have your whole life ahead of you. you have so many more years that you can accomplish things in.
for example;
having a family.
getting married.
to watch the sun rise.
to watch the sun set.
to save someone else’s life.
finish school.
get your dream job.
to laugh.
to smile.
to go camping.
travel to new places.
to wake up every morning to the person you love.
friends.
family.
to keep that promise you made.
to accomplish a goal.
to meet your idol.
to listen to new music.
theme parks.
video games.
chocolate.
to be able to look back and say “i made it”.
what you’re going through is temporary.

Aye! This is a really interesting interpretation. Also now my headcanon.
I had a realization about the end of Deltarune Chapter 2 in a Snowgrave/Weird Route.
A lot of people use Kris opening a fountain as proof that they have an evil agenda because they still do it in this route, but hear me out.
In Chapter 2, Kris does it as a cry for help.
Note that you cannot instigate the route until Susie leaves the party. You have to use Noelle. Susie never let people push her around. Even after her redemption, she makes a lot of her own choices. Enemies fleeing is one thing. Enemies frozen to death? Terrifying.
In Kris’ eyes, this all happened because Susie was gone. Noelle was too much of a pushover to realize just how badly we were hurting her and, by extension, Kris. Kris could do nothing to stop this. But Susie could’ve.
And Toriel is their mother. An adult who won’t be so easily manipulated by a player. Having Toriel and Susie there, in the dark world, on THEIR terms can mitigate our control over the outcome, in theory. It could prevent any more innocent people from being killed.
