Polyamorous relationships were meant to be 3 bisexual men and one fujoshi or like 17 lesbians not one guy and his 6 girlfriends who can’t interact with eachother. Jesus said that it’s in the Bible

i hate to be that guy, but the idea that gender, sex, and sexuality are ontologically pure concepts that can be rigidly defined if we simply police our language enough (our english language, because of course) is—i cannot stress this enough—a total waste of time. you may as well spend your afternoons teaching a brick how to swim

I think the worst thing about this AI craze is that it will make a new generation very stupid. Like yeah learning to code is a skill but if you don't have to learn art or writing principles anymore you realize how damaging that is for a whole generation of kids right? You already hear about people forging essays and shit with AI, even science lit using AI images instead of actual correct studies.
My fear is that this goes hand in hand with the fascism coming out of the woodwork lately. The censoring of the internet, of media, etc. People are deliberately trying to keep you stupid and unable to think for yourself.

this day (march 16th) 21 years ago (2003), american activist rachel corrie was crushed to death by an israeli bulldozer while she protested the demolition of palestinian homes in rafah. she was 24. this april, she would have turned 45.
Sandra Jordan wrote in The Observer that because Corrie was American her death attracted more attention than the deaths of Palestinians under similar circumstances: "On the night of Corrie's death, nine Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip, among them a four-year-old girl and a man aged 90. A total of 220 people have died in Rafah since the beginning of the intifada. Palestinians know the death of one American receives more attention than the killing of hundreds of Muslims." (Wikipedia)
while we honor corrie's sacrifice, we must remember what she fought for. you can read her emails from rafah about her experiences in palestine at the rachel corrie foundation for peace and justice, organized by her parents cindy and craig who continue her work.
donate to UNRWA donate to Help Gaza Children donate to PCRF buy e-sims for Gazans
ramadan kareem and may we see a free palestine in our lifetimes.

While I am happy that the Hague's ruling is leaning towards a condemnation of Israel, we can't relent in our efforts.
Not only because this is merely a preliminary ruling, but because the ICJ does not have executive power over the Israeli occupation. The IDF is free to violate their ruling at any time, at the cost of being deemed international criminals, which has never stopped them before.
Moreover, even if the Israeli government complied, the legal outcome alone is a return to the status quo. Gaza was under siege long before 2023, and the apartheid still stands.
I am not trying to discourage you: this is an unprecedented amount of support behind Pro-Palestinian advocacy, and we now have to decide if we'll use this opportunity to work towards the end of Israeli occupation of Palestine, or walk away from the issue now that the genocide is reeled back in.
So if you're tired, if you're drained, please, let this small victory embolden you and let's double our efforts.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

none of us expected much from the icj and all of us know israel would never abide by international law even if the ruling was more decisive anyway but really it's so fucking aggravating that these motherfuckers just said "we can't say it's a genocide, but israel has committed several acts that fall under article 2 of the genocide convention, with overwhelming evidence of genocidal intent which we have READ ALOUD IN THIS RULING but yeah let's wait a month from now and see what israel's report is like hopefully they've stopped slaughtering people to extinction or exile by then🤗🥰" and if they don't, which they definitely won't? would it be considered a genocide a month from now, after israel prove to us for the millionth time how little of consequence international law is to them? will you finally say it's a genocide when another couple thousand palestinian children starve to death or get obliterated by airstrikes? if so, what gives? what changed? the genocidal acts, the genocidal intent was there from the beginning and you said it with your own tongues

i hate when americans get asked about the israeli/palestinian conflict and they say “well it’s not really my place to have an opinion” our country literally funds genocide against the palestinian people in the name of “defense” it absolutely is our business, we should be as mad as we can as loudly as possible.
