I’d just like to take a moment and remember the comfort spot. I’d had it bookmarked on my chrome for six or seven years and accidentally clicked on it today. The url is no longer in use and it appears that the quiet place project itself has fallen through the cracks. As someone who dealt with depression, self harm, and suicidal ideation in high school, it felt like a close friend I could vent to and feel just a tad calmer in all I was coping with. Though this particular resource is gone I’m happy for what it did for me and a lot of others, and that there are other apps and websites like it to anonymously help people today.
