Alya refresh!
I was gonna post Adrien’s refresh after Marinette’s, but I haven’t finished it and I like Alya more than I’ll ever like Adrien so she’s here instead
I see this as an absolute win
But yes, here she is, the new and improved Alya! You may have noticed Rena Rouge hasn’t changed at all, because unlike most of what I do, I don’t have a problem with the design and saw it fit to keep as is. Miracles can happen, I know.
Ascended Rena Rouge hasn’t changed much, just simplified her hair. It didn’t need to be so complicated.
Alya seems like she just got a random new outfit, but it’s a little more contrived than that.
I’m using clothing to create comraderie between her and Marinette. Marinette’s most significant article of clothing are her dungarees shorts. Alya is also wear dungarees but styled completely differently. Alya is Marinette’s true best friend, they share the same core values but express them differently.
Like how they wear the same article of clothing.
Other than that I put her in that shirt to keep her looking polished and professional. She’s the token gremlin in this version, but she likes to present herself as a pro journalist.
Now the bunny and dog in the room.
I was yapping on the other day about my idea that Alya should have been given the Rabbit Miraculous instead of Alix. Like the same events from canon, but everything Alix does as Bunnix is done by Alya instead.
Now people have pointed out that canon Alya isn’t trustworthy enough to be given the rabbit. They’re right. But in terms of storytelling and making the most of your MCs, this would be the route to take.
So for my own amusement, I designed Alya with the Rabbit and the Dog Miraculous for a hypothetical “Evolution” where she takes Alix’s place in the story.
She uses the dog to become Lady Loyalty, based off a King Charles Spaniel, and then uses the rabbit to become Dr When because she’s that nerd.
(Note this DOESN’T happen in the reboot/rewrite, it’s just for fun)
Then Alix could maybe get the fox Miraculous and become Fennix? Mayhaps!

I’ll also be posting the other half of this which the Chinese zodiac part of the Miracle Box, yep that’s right my girl is pulling a Kwamibuster on the corrupted hero’s but with a twist. Anywho, updated their designs and was just trying to edit the post but accidentally deleted it so whoops.
So cleaned up their designs and thought might as well post more.

I’m unveiling my webtoon trash self
Marinette has been reincarnated as the villainess of a romance novel who has been betrothed to Prince Adrien since she was little. In the original novel, the villainess constantly clings to the prince and bullies girls she feels threatens their relationship. Eventually he meets the heroine and they fall in love. The villainess tries to poison the heroine, but is then exposed and executed at the command of her beloved prince.
Marinette wakes up as the 10 year old villainess and realizes her predicament. She has one goal in mind: break off the engagement before she can get executed!
Hm but for some reason the prince is acting quite differently towards her from the novel?
?!
Why doesn’t he want to break off their engagement?!
(Maybe it’s bc she is nothing like the original villainess and a certain boy has been in love with her since childhood now bc she’s been a total sweetie pie to him)
