I know these pictures are not very good, but I am so excited. I visited my father the last few days and close to his place is a big colony of rooks, which is why nearly all my rook pictures are taken there. But yesterday I saw a common raven there with a dead rabbit and I was so exited. They are usually not seen in cities and are more in the countryside. Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera with me, so I ran home and got it, but I was only able to take a picture of the raven flying. The bird was very shy and seemed suspicious of my camera. Today I went there again and saw two ravens flying and made the other picture. With two birds there I hope they will nest somewhere in the small woodland. Now would be exactly the time they build their nests. And if they decided to nest there, that would mean future opportunities to take pictures. Yeah. Also, the woodlands are at the fringe of the small city many people walk there, so I hope the birds will get more used to people around and stop being so shy.
