Weekly Writing Update #94 (April 21st, 2024)

Updating really quickly while I'm watching Dynasty Zero Hour. Hello! I'm still recovering from Collision and Rampage last night, haha. I was there live, it was a lot of fun. I've been sharing various stories on Tumblr, Twitter and FAN message board over the day. As for writing this week, I've been struggling to keep on schedule with everything, but got it for the most part. It was a very busy week, not sure the next week's going to be much better, but I'll do the best I can. There are a few fics I'd like to finish the next few days, we'll see how it goes! Wish me luck. Weekly Writing Update #93 (April 14th, 2024)

Hello! We all survived Wrestlemania weekend? Yay? Well, this is going to be far from an impressive update, I've been very busy between some health stuff (everything's good!) but that's not going to change in the week to come because I'm going to my first ever AEW event next Saturday for Collision, Rampage and hopefully some ROH, and so I'm busy making signs and just being a regular old silly fangirl! I haven't been to a televised wrestling event since 2007! There's a fic I would've liked to have done before Dynasty but it's not going to happen. Oh well. Anyway, can't work on this much longer because my signs are calling my name. Hopefully will get this update done before Dynasty next week! See you then.

Weekly Writing Update #92 (April 7th, 2024)

What a week, huh? Getting this done just before night two of Wrestlemania starts, whoo. Then I can just come down because it's been a LOT of wrestling the last three days and my brain is buzzing. I need a quiet night, haha. Anyway, writing's been ok this week, even though I've been too busy to do as much as I'd like. More of a useful update next week I hope. Hello! Well, all in all, this week hasn't been bad. I've done… sufficiently with writing, I think. And I have a new memory card so I don't have to worry anymore about my tech breaking and taking my fic back ups with it. That's nice! I honestly don't know how much writing I'll be able to do the next week because there's wrestling on top of wrestling on top of MORE wrestling (Hi, Wrestlemania week) but I'll do my best! This update will probably be late because of it all but you know. I'll see how well I can do.

Well, this week has gone a fair deal better than last week's did. I still have a lot to work on, but progress is always good! Not the best week. Real life stuff is really dragging me down, but meh. Because of that a lot of my writing was impulsive, highly indulgent fluff nonsense, but it was fun, and cheered me up at times, so I guess it wasn't too pointless, eh? I don't really have a lot to say and the word count updates below aren't going to be fantastic either, but I'm glad to have gotten as much done as I have. Weekly Writing Update #88 (March 11th, 2024)

Ahhh, well, this is one of my latest updates in awhile, huh? Uhh, I guess you can blame Daylight Savings Time if you want, heh. But I've honestly just been kind of spazzy all day, so meh. I haven't gotten a lot of writing done this past week, my birthday on Wednesday wasn't the best and kind of disrupted the rest of my week because of it, heh. Add in the loss of Akira Toriyama, and… yeah, not the best couple of days. Then AEW announced last night that they're coming to my town in April, so I've been thinking about THAT a lot today. Hopefully I can get some stuff done tomorrow and open up the rest of the week for more significant amounts of writing. We'll see!

Quick update, Revolution is on so I'm going to just really quickly run through. Decent week of writing, still have a lot to work on, but I'm pleased with the progress I made this past week. I've been super sleep deprived since the Elimination Chamber and also watched All Of Us Strangers last weekend and my thoughts and my emotions have been all over the place since. Yeesh, haha. And I've had a lot of new weird ideas to work on? Fun. So I'm going to go now, enjoy the PPV, and will be back with more news next week.

Busy week! I've done a fair bit of writing, most of it unexpected, some of it planned. And I exhausted myself by watching like 10 hours of wrestling yesterday, so this weekend has mostly been a wash but I'll turn it around after I hopefully get caught up in sleep tonight. Y'know. It'll be alright, lol. I'm still getting weird new fic ideas to write, so that's something too I guess. Hey, it's almost the best month, March, so I'm sure my creative processes will be even wilder then. This week has been a lot more writing wise than I expected, haha. First, I uploaded both of the Valentine's Day fics, then I got sequel ideas for the both of them, and then another idea after that and… yeah. it's been a lot. And the usual writing on top of that, and other stuff going on, and… man. The creative train never really stops rolling, I guess. It's late though and I have a ton of other things to do, and not a lot of time to do them. But hey, it's officially Pisces season, so that's always a nice thing for us fishy babies. Well, this week has been pretty steady for writing. I'm making really good progress in my main Valentine's Day fic and I hope it'll be ready with plenty of time for me to work on others before the 14th. We'll see! For now, this is a very late update because I had three separate wrestling shows to watch from 4 PM on, and the last one only finished at midnight. Either way, i'm much happier with what I've accomplished this week than i was last week! And hopefully the week to come will make me even happier. We'll see.

Weekly Writing Update #81 (January 21st, 2024)

Soooo. What a week, huh? I didn't get as much writing done as I wanted, the goal remains the same though-- finish the New Years fics by February. Then work on a Valentine's Day fic, THEN begin work on everything else that's been backburnered for too long. I think that'll work out. And I have an idea for NaNoWriMo '24? Should be pretty interesting once I get it fleshed out a bit more. Anyway, yeah, the week ahead-- hopefully, it'll go alright, but I'm holding myself to nothing until I see what happens with Seth Rollins and his injury tomorrow. I feel so bad for him! Damn knees anyway. Well, here's hoping everyone has a good week leading into the Royal Rumble and catch you all next Sunday at some point (DPW next Sunday I think at 5 PM CT so it may be later than usual!). Hello. Well, this has been an interesting week fandom wise and weather wise. I've written impulsively a bit more than I expected, and thus had more to upload than I expected. I'm still working on the New Years fics, I think one of them will be done this upcoming week, and I hope the other will be finished before February. We'll see. Haven't quite gotten around to Team Work yet, but I'm hoping soon. Everything else is coming slowly, but coming. I'm hoping the weather warms up so things can return to some degree of normalcy, but guess we'll see. Weekly Writing Update #79 (January 7th, 2024)

First update of the new year! Hello. It feels weird seeing my annual word count back to zero, heh. Long week, busy week, but I've been pretty solid with my writing. Working slowly on the New Years drabbles. They're coming! I'm not sure when, exactly, but probably before the end of the month. Hopefully. And I've decided to make a couple changes to the weeklies. WWDD will now be uploaded on Mondays, and EuM on Tuesdays. I'm also going to start booking Team Work again, so hopefully I'll be able to upload some of that before too long, start to get caught up on it. Going to be a long road, that one. Expect a new semi-regular series too, because my "Back to Earth" story ended up going from "This is just a single chapter story" to "I kinda want to make this a series" and the second chapter of that will probably be up before Dynamite. Yeah. We won't say anything about its title going hand in hand with Back to Basics, ok? We just won't, lol. Also I have a Hook story that will be posted soon, probably late tonight or tomorrow. Will see. Anyway, hope everyone's new year started off great and I'll be back next week with more!

Weekly Writing Update #78 (December 31st, 2023)

Happy New Year! Well, we're still a few hours away from midnight for me, but by the time some of you read this, it'll probably be well into 2024. What a year, huh? Can't say I'm sorry to see it go, and here's hoping 2024 is better for all of us. Fandom is in a weird place for me right now, but I'm doing well creatively so hopefully I can maintain that in the weeks and months to come. We'll see! My annual word count will reset after this, so it's going to be interesting to see if I can write more in 2024 than I did in 2023. Over 260K in a year? not bad, honestly. Not bad at all.
