during this semi-hiatus I've been thinking & I realised that I've been having a harder & harder time participating in fandom because i dislike a lot about the way fandom works. I've been making things by myself - writing fic, planning a long-term siskoshir drawing project, making playlists - but I don't know how to share them in a way that would satisfy me so I'm stuck. this is the main reason I'm barely on Tumblr & it's a problem I'm still trying to solve. stay tuned, I suppose? not sure what to do about this.

last thought before bed: julian & ben performing a very elaborate, very sensual choreography while singing "i want to spend my lifetime loving you" by tina arena and marc anthony. the only prop on stage is a high stool; at some point ben holds julian from behind and has his arms around him while julian rests his head on ben's shoulder, singing his heart out; they do a few tango steps here and there. as the music swells, pyrotechnics happen and background dancers come in, dancing with torches and hoops; julian and ben hold out their hands, trying to reach for each other as they sing their undying love, and as the song ends, they finally find each other, and their foreheads rest against one another as julian sings the last notes and sparks rain down from the ceiling.
