Really bums me out how the general public wont give the new transformers movies a chance because Hasbro and Paramount have neglected to market them as separate from the Bay films (ironically) to get more more people to see them.

People outside the fandom mostly ignored Bumblebee despite it’s great reviews. Nobody saw ROTB because they thought it was gonna be more mindless bayverse nonsense. And people are criticizing TF One for being vibrant and colorful and fun (like the source material) because they expect all transformers content to be like the Bay films.

Like… can Hasbro and Paramount please just accept that continuing to market the new films as part of the bay films is hurting the franchise, not getting more butts into theater seats?
