Do kubrey have any other activities they enjoy doing together besides roller skating, and why does kuri initially get so excited about it

They’re pretty active and love hiking and playing tennis, they live in The Hills so there’s always somewhere stupid to walk to and Aubrey did tennis in highschool. Sometimes they do Roller Tennis which is as dangerous as it sounds

Kuri loves rollerskating because her mom was (going to be) an Olympic ice skater and Kuri grew up ice skating with her, but eventually felt pressured to follow in her moms footsteps, especially after she went missing. but rollerskating with Aubrey makes her feel free and its one of the many ways that helped Kuri and Aubrey’s love for each other grow when they were Dating dating. She feels like there’s no pressure to fill someone’s shoes when the shoes have wheels instead of blades

Mostly just superficial stuff like aubreys appearance or their house looking different

Aubrey’s pretty good at guiding Kuri through her feelings which is ironic considering he’s very bad at doing it for himself. He generally tells her the exact opposite of what hed do if he was in her shoes which is just coincidentally beneficial to her. And in general beneficial to literally any other person

They’re both Japanese American, they’re Aubrey’s friends from highschool, and they have 3 kids, one adopted and a pair of twins through surrogacy (one of which being Rin)

Aubrey has 3? Other friends named Otis Simon and Iris but Kuri isn’t close to them at all. Aubrey, Hajime, Chihiro, Simon, and Iris are all one friend group and Otis is just Simon’s boyfriend/husband. Simon and Iris are also siblings.

Kuri doesn’t have any of her own friends because she’s weird and won’t go outside. Simon and Iris like Kuri but Otis scares her and he’s too stupid to remember her name

Kuri would take the opportunity to be a better mother bc her PPD is mostly to blame for kuris lack of involvement raising them as babies but Evan turns out to be a Really Really good dad and once he’s on his own Kuri and Aubrey just babysit occasionally

Both digital copies are available for download on my kofi , i never publicly posted NOIATTYC bc i thot it was ugly and tbh. The lore doesn’t really stick too well anymore. But it was my first comic so i still let ppl buy it…. For nostalgia’s sake………as for ROYH i posted it publicly after selling out of physical copies but keep it for sale on kofi bc apparently the tumblr version is super low quality and i can’t fix it no matter what i do
